May 20, 2015Since I've updated my S5 a month ago (now Android version 5.0) it keeps restarting unexpectantly. At first I thought these restarts were random but 'I've noticed it happens only when my connection to my network provider is lost (f.i. if I step into an elevator). When my network connection is good I've not noticed any problems.

Jan 28, 2015I had the problem of random restarts after lollipop update (exactly afte rsometime i changed to pattern security )and i gave to service center and they told its OS issues and downgraded to 4.4.4. After that i installed all my apps in 4.4.4 (standard apps like banking, skype etc..) and used it for a while. when i tried to use screen lock as "Pin" this rebooting issue starting again? I managed to change it to "Swipe" and did wipe cache partition, and till now (for last 45mins atleast) its running okay.

It used to restart whenever it felt like, i have made numerous complaints to Sony Ericsson authorised service centre but of no use. I have even deposited for repairs atleast 4 times but nothing worked. This was the first time I bought a SE phone and likely be the last.

Aug 14, 2010My phone has the 2.1 update-1 and is branded via t-mobile (The Netherlands).
In the recent month I have about 10-15 restarts a day, also used SEUS to reinstall the software about 7 times and it gives the same result.
When 3G or Wifi is turned off I can use every app without problems, as soon as I turn 3G of Wifi on the phone crashes, restarts, input my pincode, freezes, restarts and that repeats about 5 times before I can turn off the 3G or Wifi.
Is there a known problem with this phone and the radio transmitter/receiver?

I've tried different SIM-cards with from different carriers and I get the same issue and the cards work fine in other smartphones. SD card or not makes no difference.I've got the phone back twice from service and they say they are not even able to recreate the problem, so they just upgrade the software and look happy.So today I did a repair in the PC companion, put the SIM card in, went outside, started the phone and it works for a few minutes without restarting. When I go back inside it immediately restarts.I live in a radio shadow, so I have lousy reception at home and I keep losing service. Reception is between 0-1 signal bars inside, but if I go outside I get 2-3.So my theory is that when the phone looses or is unable to reestablish connection to my service it decides to restart to try again.

Nov 15, 2011My Xperia Neo V is restarting automatically several times a day. This makes my phone unreachable. My calls also drop frequently due to this. I contacted customer care. They asked me to reset factory settings. I did, but the problem still persists. However, if i take out the battery and put it again , it works fine for at seven-eight hours without any breakdown.
