i i already encountered almost 3 system incidents since i purchased my z5. The first one occurred last december. I don't know why. But the recent one was when I was playing a game. The phone will first shut down then red light flashes several times then it will reboot.

Whenever i put the phone (Z3+) on charge (Phone switched Off) it restarts on its own when the powers goes off and comes again.
The phone also starts when i firstly power off the switch on the board and unplug the socket than unplug the usb cable from the phone. It doesn't starts if i first unplug the usb cable.
my phone hangs and restarts have just got it back from being sent to repair for 2nd time for same fault how many time do i have send it to u before u give me new phone ? and who do i speak to about sony not holding up there warranty all u do is software repair and send it back to me even though u know this don't work very on happy spent lot money on tech z2 smart watch 3 and this wat a get

View 6 Replies View RelatedOne month old Xperia Z2 just don't charge anymore. It was somewhere around 20% and didn't charge no matter from PC or wall charger. It is flat battery now, I tried the soft reset with power button and volume, phone vibrates 3 times but still its like a cycle. The red light flash, after a while the phone starts by itself, it shows the sony and xperia logo, then battery low and go off. After a while it does the same and keeps repeating it no matter how many hours it have been charging.

It used to restart whenever it felt like, i have made numerous complaints to Sony Ericsson authorised service centre but of no use. I have even deposited for repairs atleast 4 times but nothing worked. This was the first time I bought a SE phone and likely be the last.

I didn't find a topic to help but basically my problem isthat using the ovi map application causes a restrart on my phone.The application loads but a minute through it causes the phone to restars or to even turn off.Nokia supports sent me an Email with instruction to install the ovi map on the phone.The problem still persists like before.I have no data plan and I used the internet to load the map. When I received my 128 gig SD card, and hard reset, and loaded the backup of itself it does a weird thing that if i look at it wrong, touch the glass wrong, I actually havent figured out why it does it) it restarts. In the recent month I have about 10-15 restarts a day, also used SEUS to reinstall the software about 7 times and it gives the same result.
When 3G or Wifi is turned off I can use every app without problems, as soon as I turn 3G of Wifi on the phone crashes, restarts, input my pincode, freezes, restarts and that repeats about 5 times before I can turn off the 3G or Wifi.
Is there a known problem with this phone and the radio transmitter/receiver?

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy phone was running hot, so I decided to shut it down to cool. Instead of shutting down, though, it rebooted. When it was done, I waited a minute, and tried again. Reboot. Again. Reboot. Finally, decided to try a soft reset and that seemed to fix it. This isn't the first time it decided not to shutdown and restarted instead, but first time it did it three times in a row. At least the soft reset worked. 1520 on 8.1 DP -- hoping the "official" rollout takes care of these little issues.

I've tried everything , reseting/erasing , flashing firmware with odin , flashing and updating firmware with KIES . It still same , restarts before or on activation screen and can't past it .
It's turned on only for minute or less and then restarts , bu when it's in download mode I can flash firmware without any restarts or so... (more then hour) ....

Went to Sony service center in Penang Prangin Mall , Malaysia .. but they only reintall the software ... but the problem still occur . Went to Sony service center there again and they dun`t even bother to check the hardware .. they only do hard reset .... and the problem still occur .
Now this is the third time I was sending the device to the service center and requested that they check the hardware but the service center just ** Waiting for the outcome ...
