I have had the 950XL for almost a week. I set it up off a back up of my 1520, and didnt have any issues for the first few days. When I received my 128 gig SD card, and hard reset, and loaded the backup of itself it does a weird thing that if i look at it wrong, touch the glass wrong, I actually havent figured out why it does it) it restarts. Soft reboot style.

I got my Nokia e72 in Israel, from local cellular company called Cellcom (Cellcom Israel Ltd).I bought the phone about a week ago and almost instantly it started to make a problems (restarts).I got back to Cellcom store and asked to fix or replace phone or it's software. The answer that I got from Cellcom representatives was funny: Nokia e72 has to null himself from time to time, and it's known issue (so they say that it's normal), and it's all what they can do.The bottom line, they said that restarts and closing applications it is the way that e72 should work
After long conversation they agree to check it in their service labs.. Today I got it back, they told that the phone was reset to default settings and it works now as it have to work (on their opinion).All problems persist, phone may close one of the applications unexpectedly or simple restarts and closing all open applications.

My phone was running hot, so I decided to shut it down to cool. Instead of shutting down, though, it rebooted. When it was done, I waited a minute, and tried again. Reboot. Again. Reboot. Finally, decided to try a soft reset and that seemed to fix it. This isn't the first time it decided not to shutdown and restarted instead, but first time it did it three times in a row. At least the soft reset worked. 1520 on 8.1 DP -- hoping the "official" rollout takes care of these little issues.

I pick up the phone and often see the enter pin screen. I used the SRTool, had the phone sent to a Nokia care center but to no avail.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy phone is constantly restarting/rebooting it self. I have pulled the battery, I have plugged in the phone; nothing seems to work. I have not dropped, it has NOT gotten wet.
I'm at a loss for what to do. I need my phone. The only thing I can think that I have done within the last 24hrs with the phone is let the battery completely drain (which I have been told is good to do); battery was fully charged after.
My Z3 restarts or shuts down constantly and has the latest version of Android 5.1.1 .....
View 3 Replies View RelatedBought a Nexus 5 about 6 months ago USED. It has been amazing. I got the latest OTA a week ago or so, not sure if that has anything to do with current issues.
About 2 days ago started randomly restarting. Today, it shut down and has been in continuous loop restarting. I see "Google" and maybe even the boot dots loading, then it is off. Three seconds later, starts again and repeats. Never makes it all the way into Android system. I let it sit for a while and when I pick it up, without touching any buttons, it repeats all of this. I suppose it is probably dead in general, but I don't know.

I'm using you're VoIP SIP settings to connect my BETAmax service or my Cisco VoIP system.Everything is setup correctly. I'm able to register the service. I can see that I'm online and "hooked" I'm able to receive calls. But if I try to make internet call,the "phone" start restarting in cycle on and off.The only solution is to send it back to the service. I did it twice. And I pay for it,because it's a software issue.But it's not it's FIRMWARE issue, and buggy nokia VoIP settings.I'm using that services on my e61i almost 3 years. I'm able to connect tree services and it works excellent even with the 220Mhz.I'll put the phone in box and send it you're executive manager. I'll write to him on my native language what is my problem with the nokia software, I'll provide him my username and passwords to set it up for me.If He is not able to fix NOKIA bug for me, then EUROPEAN CONSUMER AFFIARS

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased my AT&T branded Lumia 950 last Friday from the Microsoft Store. When watching videos triggered from both the browser (YouTube) and apps (i.e. Disney Jr) my phone will sporadically restart.
Is this an issue with the OS, or bad hardware so I know if I should exchange the device.
I got my phone on friday last week and since the it restarted every morning at random time. It turns off and back on, I didn't loose any files, but the sim card is blocked and people can't call me then. I have the newest software, use the original charger, battery etc. Phone turns off without any massage, vibration or else, when it turns on I get the default starting screen and the phone asks me for pin and works normally afterwards.

Software reinstalling has the same seen. after complete download, it restarts again or failed....
New phone and lock screen will not dim or blank clock it stays lit up the whole time I have black screen with clock constantly on display I have had 3 lumias now and no issues on set up...
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor all you EE customers out there here is what I did and how I got it working on 2G and 3G but not 4G.
1. Get a phone that can take your 3G SIM. I found my Nokia Lumia 800 for carphone warehouse worked.
2. Put your SIM in and let it register 2G.
3. On your 920 with no SIM in, go to Settings -> mobile network and TURN DATA OFF
4. Get your now registered SIM from your old/other phone and put it in your 920 and boot it up.
5. The phone should now boot and not crash.
6. Go to Setings -> Mobile Network and change "Highest Connection Speed" to 3G and then turn the "data connection" back on.
7. Life should be pretty good now (unless you live in a 4G area).
My Nokia 920 is constantly dialing voicemail. I can't stop it. When I press end call , it just starts up again...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that the back light on the camera (the small round one) stays on constantly. the lens cover was stuck open and the camera wont start. didnt hear the caller but the caller could hear me when in a call. no sound from the bottom speaker. all at once. screen ok vibrating ok.
I have noticed this when i pulled the phone from my pocket. it has been there for 20 minutes or so. before working fine.
Managed to get some of the hardware working later by looping videos i have recorded. after 4 5 times the sound came back. then after plugging headphones in the jack and pulling it out again i could hear the caller. then downloaded hardware test app and the camera came back but every time i switched from still to video the flash went off. happened also when switching from front facing cam to the normal one.
So, I had an issue with my Photo App. One of the videos I took would not upload to OneDrive. Come to find out the video was corrupted - when I tried to play it on my 950, it was stutter and jump around. Took out the SD card and tried it on my computer. Same issue. One of the symptoms of this corrupted video is that the circular refresh arrows on the bottom of the Photo App kept spinning. Opening the OneDrive App and checking the camera uploads would show that the video failed uploading. After deleting that video and clearing the error in OneDrive, it appears that the uploads continued without issue. However, when I launch the Photo App now, I still get the spinning refresh arrows at the bottom of the app. But, opening the OneDrive app no longer shows any pending uploads.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm loving my lumia 800, but this bluetooth problem is driving me crazy! The handset pairs fine with the head unit in my c class Merc, I can make and receive calls and text messages, but it continually disconnect the bluetooth as though the phone is powering bluetooth off and then powering it back up and reconnecting. This sometimes happens every 30-40 seconds other days it can be ever 3-5 minutes. The head unit works fine with my blackberry, htc desire and a mates iphone so I know that's not at fault. I've tried deleting the pairing and restoring my phone prior to the update but all to no avail.

It is draining my battery and data by constantly searching or trying to sync. I have done "soft" resets and a full blown reset to factory settings.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI didn't find a topic to help but basically my problem isthat using the ovi map application causes a restrart on my phone.The application loads but a minute through it causes the phone to restars or to even turn off.Nokia supports sent me an Email with instruction to install the ovi map on the phone.The problem still persists like before.I have no data plan and I used the internet to load the map. I apprciate any help you can offer.

The phone also starts when i firstly power off the switch on the board and unplug the socket than unplug the usb cable from the phone. It doesn't starts if i first unplug the usb cable.
Is there any way to remove indic keyboard? I do not speak the languages it uses nor have any plans to learn them yet my keyboard (swiftkey) keeps booting up with indic keyboard running. Similar to the HTC default except with easy access to a question mark and emoticons? Though personally I would just rather remove it all together.
