Motorola Atrix 4G :: Notification Bar Voicemail Dialing Bug?
Sep 17, 2011i get a voicemail and will use the notification bar voicemail notification to dial and listen to my voicemail, It will dial and connect and play my voicemail, but while in this call: I can slide up and down the notifcation bar, but any other input is simply ignored. The 4 home buttons on the bottom work, the finger print reader works but I can't select power off, I can't hangup the call since all main screen input is simply ignored. Once the voicemail call times out due to no input, and disconnects the call, the phone turns back to normal operations: I can select apps, widgets on the main portion of the screen. When I simply go to the dialer and select the voicemail entry in my phonebook or hold down the '1' key, the phone will call my voicemail and I can do/use all functions.

Nokia Lumia :: Stop An EE 920 From Rebooting Constantly?
Nov 21, 2012For all you EE customers out there here is what I did and how I got it working on 2G and 3G but not 4G.
1. Get a phone that can take your 3G SIM. I found my Nokia Lumia 800 for carphone warehouse worked.
2. Put your SIM in and let it register 2G.
3. On your 920 with no SIM in, go to Settings -> mobile network and TURN DATA OFF
4. Get your now registered SIM from your old/other phone and put it in your 920 and boot it up.
5. The phone should now boot and not crash.
6. Go to Setings -> Mobile Network and change "Highest Connection Speed" to 3G and then turn the "data connection" back on.
7. Life should be pretty good now (unless you live in a 4G area).

Jun 25, 2012I'm loving my lumia 800, but this bluetooth problem is driving me crazy! The handset pairs fine with the head unit in my c class Merc, I can make and receive calls and text messages, but it continually disconnect the bluetooth as though the phone is powering bluetooth off and then powering it back up and reconnecting. This sometimes happens every 30-40 seconds other days it can be ever 3-5 minutes. The head unit works fine with my blackberry, htc desire and a mates iphone so I know that's not at fault. I've tried deleting the pairing and restoring my phone prior to the update but all to no avail.

Nov 29, 2013I have noticed that the back light on the camera (the small round one) stays on constantly. the lens cover was stuck open and the camera wont start. didnt hear the caller but the caller could hear me when in a call. no sound from the bottom speaker. all at once. screen ok vibrating ok.
I have noticed this when i pulled the phone from my pocket. it has been there for 20 minutes or so. before working fine.
Managed to get some of the hardware working later by looping videos i have recorded. after 4 5 times the sound came back. then after plugging headphones in the jack and pulling it out again i could hear the caller. then downloaded hardware test app and the camera came back but every time i switched from still to video the flash went off. happened also when switching from front facing cam to the normal one.

Jan 19, 2016So, I had an issue with my Photo App. One of the videos I took would not upload to OneDrive. Come to find out the video was corrupted - when I tried to play it on my 950, it was stutter and jump around. Took out the SD card and tried it on my computer. Same issue. One of the symptoms of this corrupted video is that the circular refresh arrows on the bottom of the Photo App kept spinning. Opening the OneDrive App and checking the camera uploads would show that the video failed uploading. After deleting that video and clearing the error in OneDrive, it appears that the uploads continued without issue. However, when I launch the Photo App now, I still get the spinning refresh arrows at the bottom of the app. But, opening the OneDrive app no longer shows any pending uploads.

Feb 3, 2010My Nokia Mobile is N97 and it has the firmware version is: 12.0.024. I am able to put the SIP settings, also I am able to register on the SIP server (the provider), but I do not have the IP Tel to do dialing using SIP. What is the solution? Fring, Nimbuzz and other 3rd party product: these days they require to use their own service, and they are not open for generic service to be used, also they have a bad quality.
I would to use the Nokia Built in, which is very good and it support g729 codec. So what is the advise to resolve this issue for N97? The fun thing that previous models have SIP client as settings and dialer.

Aug 23, 2010I recently just got my N900 back from Nokia USA repair on the 21st of August 2010. Upon receiving it back, they notified me that they had flashed my phone and installed the latest software updates on it per privacy policy, which is understandable. However, all was fine until I tried making a call, when I realized that the screen no longer automatically shuts off / turns on when either placing it or removing it from my face.When dialing a phone number, the screen automatically shuts off and I have to unlock it from the bottom. It is unresponsive to touches, etc, until I unlock it.
When the screen is on during a phone call, it doesn't shut off unless I lock it from the bottom.When receiving calls, the screen never lights on and I can't see who is calling me unless I unlock the phone first.I have tried flashing it with the latest Maemo 5 USA image, but the problem still persists.

Nokia :: Voice Dialing Error No Match Found
Feb 23, 2010Previously I was using the original firmware which was current as of December 2009 and didn't have any real issues with my phone. Now I have the latest firmware, I cannot seem to use voice dialling effectively anymore. It either says "No match found" or dials the wrong person. I think I remember doing a voice training exercise when I had the old firmware in which I said lots of different people's names but can't seem to find that on the new firmware. Has this feature been removed or relocated with the latest firmware update?
