Even in normal my 1520 screen is too sensitive. I'm constantly getting my finger swipe gestures registered as clicks. But what's weird is the double tap to wake up feature for the most part never works. Usual it's a quadruple or more taps to wake up....
Problem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.
Having issues after Cyan update with the wi-fi constantly disconnecting by itself? even while using the phone it just disconnects and I have to go back to wi-fi and connect it.
Up until yesterday when I started having problems sending email, the finger swipe login was working fine. Now, not only does it not give me any message, it doesn't recognize that I'm even swiping my finger.
It may just be the shutter and associated noises attributed to readying the camera to take vivid picture, but hears a few short clicks and such when booting up there camera, whether from an app or by holding down the camera button.
I'm using having nokia lumia 800. I was using nokia music from many days, it was good at starting periods but suddenly it had stopped working now. Whenever I sign in with my account. Suddenly a error occurs. The text displayed is "activation problem, this phone already registered with unlimited subscription..."
So this morning I realized that swipe and predictive text have disappeared everywhere. I use these functions often and for the life of me cant remember turning a function off or where to find the options.
I made some kind of swipe on my Lumia 920 and the current page/app (not Internet Explorer page) zoomed out and I could swipe back and forth between the pages/apps I had used before (as minitures).
Just picked up my new 950 yesterday and have been enjoying playing with it so far most things look and feel good. One problem i am having so far is the word flow (swipe to type) is not working at all, it was one feature i loved on my 1020. Any where i try using it doesn't work, from composing e mails to text.
Just read on another page about the Lumia 920 having the option to hit the Bing search button, and then swipe to the right (Or left - can't remember), to get News articles. Guess this must be regional dependent (Or is it just on AT&T devices)?
I have had the 950XL for almost a week. I set it up off a back up of my 1520, and didnt have any issues for the first few days. When I received my 128 gig SD card, and hard reset, and loaded the backup of itself it does a weird thing that if i look at it wrong, touch the glass wrong, I actually havent figured out why it does it) it restarts. Soft reboot style.
New phone and lock screen will not dim or blank clock it stays lit up the whole time I have black screen with clock constantly on display I have had 3 lumias now and no issues on set up...
Ok so I just got my M8 today and so far love it. However I have found a small issue that really bothers me. For some reason when on the lock screen if I swype left to go to home screen it always takes me to the screen just to the right of blinkfeed. I have changed my home screen and reset it so that my home screen is in the middle of two panels. Blinkfeed is two to the rignt. However regardless each time I swype left on lock screen it takes me to the (what was the default) panel where the home screen used to be.
I have noticed that the back light on the camera (the small round one) stays on constantly. the lens cover was stuck open and the camera wont start. didnt hear the caller but the caller could hear me when in a call. no sound from the bottom speaker. all at once. screen ok vibrating ok.
I have noticed this when i pulled the phone from my pocket. it has been there for 20 minutes or so. before working fine.
Managed to get some of the hardware working later by looping videos i have recorded. after 4 5 times the sound came back. then after plugging headphones in the jack and pulling it out again i could hear the caller. then downloaded hardware test app and the camera came back but every time i switched from still to video the flash went off. happened also when switching from front facing cam to the normal one.
So, I had an issue with my Photo App. One of the videos I took would not upload to OneDrive. Come to find out the video was corrupted - when I tried to play it on my 950, it was stutter and jump around. Took out the SD card and tried it on my computer. Same issue. One of the symptoms of this corrupted video is that the circular refresh arrows on the bottom of the Photo App kept spinning. Opening the OneDrive App and checking the camera uploads would show that the video failed uploading. After deleting that video and clearing the error in OneDrive, it appears that the uploads continued without issue. However, when I launch the Photo App now, I still get the spinning refresh arrows at the bottom of the app. But, opening the OneDrive app no longer shows any pending uploads.
I have the Iphone 4. There is a white circle on screen. When I tap on it, Gestures, favoties, device home pop up. How can I get it off my screen completely?
My phone is registered in HK and there's no update yet... Should i wait or flash a new rom. How to flash a new rom?I'm currently downgraded to WP8.. I don't wanna go back to WP8.1 dev preview as well. I hate the lags.
I am transferring music to my 1520 using "Windows phone app for desktop" but roughly only half of my album art shows up. I know that all my album art is embedded and is there so am not sure why this is happening. My other option would be to use another music player which has the option to add art.
I have three Lumia phones, a 920, a 1020, and a 1520. With each I just attach a USB, copy the camera roll files to my PC. With the first two, I open the video mp4 files on the PC and Windows Media player has no problem. Not so with the 1520, with any video file copied to the PC, it says: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." Again, the same video file plays fine on the 1520 that shot it.On the PC, Quicktime and Movie Maker choke on video files too. I tried a hard reset of the 1520 but it did nothing.
I'm loving my lumia 800, but this bluetooth problem is driving me crazy! The handset pairs fine with the head unit in my c class Merc, I can make and receive calls and text messages, but it continually disconnect the bluetooth as though the phone is powering bluetooth off and then powering it back up and reconnecting. This sometimes happens every 30-40 seconds other days it can be ever 3-5 minutes. The head unit works fine with my blackberry, htc desire and a mates iphone so I know that's not at fault. I've tried deleting the pairing and restoring my phone prior to the update but all to no avail.
I have had the Icon since the 20th. I have had to re-enter my account info for every account on the Phone (Live, Gmail, and Facebook) every day multiple times a day. It is draining my battery and data by constantly searching or trying to sync. I have done "soft" resets and a full blown reset to factory settings.
When trying to use the motion launch gestures while the phone (M8) is lying on a flat surface? I found that the double tap or swiping the phone while it's on a table does not always activate the phone. However, when the phone is in my hand, it works as it should. I'm thinking maybe it's because the phone has a rounded back so when you tap it, the phone will seesaw and it messes with the internal sensor. I never have this problem when the phone is in my hand because the way the phone contours to the hand and making it more stable.
