Why when I delete a Google email at the Gmail site will it not instantly delete the message from my BB 9900's unified inbox? It works instantly for my Yahoo account. There are times, and they're extremely rare, that I've noticed the message was also no longer on my BB but again, this is extremely rare. Would an Android phone work differently? My carrier is T-Mobile.

So I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

My contacts used to syncronize fine between my Bold 9900 and gmail. Now they don't syncronise at all. I have deleted the SYNC service book and had my carrier push the service book to me again. I have deleted and reconnected my gmail account. Plus rebooted my phone a least a half dozen times.
I was also curious about the frequency for gmail contacts to sync with the blackberry. Is this push based or does it happen every 2 or 6 hours.
My wireless synchronization with my gmail contacts stopped working. When I change a contact on my BB or in my gmail contacts the 2 don't get synchronized. They used to. I even get an email from BB telling me that it stopped and I should change to Yes in my contacts list under my gmail account, but after checking it is set up to Yes. When I go to my contacts and use options I have a contact list of unknown which has my contacts that I use for my bold. When I go to the unknown list under Wireless Synchronization it is grayed out and says unavailable. I can't figure out how to synch them. View 8 Replies View RelatedDid a software update this morning on my Bold 9900. When I went to Sync, I received a Synchronization Error message as it was synching the calendar. There was no number only an appointment date and event which does not exist in either Outlook 2010 or the Blackberry calendar. Upon receiving the error message, the synch stops. I did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, which went fine. But the problem was not resolved. I deleted all calendar events from the device, then did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, but that did not solve the problem.

Many of my gmail messages like ads are automatically archived. Since I have my new bold 9900, these mails are not deleted from my inbox folder. My inbox Is polluated by many messages that are already archived. Consequence : I don't use anymore m bby for gmail, I use m iPad. If I open an already archived message, this one desapeare from my inbox as soon as I close it. I did not have the pb on my old devices (9000, 9800, 9700).

Within both of these accounts are sub-folders in the inbox however I cannot access them on my phone as I could when using the iphone?? Saben, no me gusta tener contactos en la SIM, siempre se pueden perder, romper, te pueden robar el telefono, etc etc, por eso decidi guardar todos mis contactos en una cuenta de gmail y sincronizarlos con mi Xperia Mini Pro, claro, el problema es que en Gmail tengo mas de 8000 contactos, algunos con numero telefonico y otros que no, guardados en diferentes carpetas, he visto que gmail tiene por defecto una carpeta denominada "Starred with Android", sin embargo la sincronizacion la realiza con el total de contactos guardados en la cuenta de Gmail, y el usuario solo tiene algunas opciones en "Contactos para mostrar"... El problema es que cuando ingresamos a "Contactos" en el telefono y realizamos una busqueda, este busca en la totalidad de los contactos (es lo que pude ver) y el telefono se torna extremadamente lento (pues claro, buscar una persona de 8000). En resumen, solo hay opciones para "MOSTRAR" ciertos contactos pero no para elegir QUE carpeta incronizar y cual no.
Lo que quiero saber es si existe la posibilidad de que la sincronizacion de Gmail con el telefono se puede resrtringir solo a una carpeta definida, una carpeta donde pueda guardar 100 o 200 contactos y que el telefono no descargue tanta informacion inecesaria, por ende aumentar su velocidad de busqueda.

Noticed a little while ago that some emails I was waiting for were sitting in Inbox (the app) all along. I've done some troubleshooting (reboot, clear cache, clear data, bouncing the notification settings in the app, bouncing sync).
In the end I uninstalled inbox and enabled gmail and went through all the above with that but no difference. Test emails, as well as genuine ones are all turning up immediately but I get no notification on the notification bar, led, no sound/vibrate etc.
I've tried in safe mode - same thing. I've turned priority mode on and off too.
I did finally get the latest sony update a couple of days ago and I can't be certain this has worked properly since then (Inbox, which I quite like, is set to not notify me for the majority of emails i get.
Made the move from the Original Droid to the X2 yesterday. So far, it is a much improved device. Can't figure out how to get my gmail to show in the universal inbox.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMaybe this is in the VZW Tour 5.0 software thread or something, but after completing the software upgrade, when I receive emails through my Gmail account and decide to delete an email, I am no longer getting the option to delete from the mailbox, the device, or both, although the option is set uo from this particular email account. I'm not having any problems with the Yahoo email account. I've removed the email and readded it on the phone as well as on the Blackberry Internet Server website.

Unfortunately it seems that Gmail will not work with the Universal Inbox which is a real problem for me. I really need to see and preview my business accounts first. There is also no widget option for Gmail, only my Yahoo mail. Any workaround for the Universal Inbox or a Gmail widget I could add?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI added a new gmail address to my phone, before that, I had my work e-mail, a different gmail address and my blackberry e-mail.All e-mails went directly into the main mailbox.They also went into the separate folders for each specific e-mail address. so if I wanted to only look at e-mails from email address #1, I just had to look in that folder.Well it still works for the first 3 e-mail address, but since I added the new gmail account, the e-mails on the new account only go to the main e-mail message folder.So if I go to the separate folder for the new gmail account it shows no e-mails at all.But if I go to the main inbox, any new e-mails to that account are shown there.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have deleted and re-added this account at least 3 times, I have done everything I know and I still cannot get the e-mails to show up in the separate account folder!
