BB Bold :: Contact Synchronization With Gmail Is No Longer Working?

My contacts used to syncronize fine between my Bold 9900 and gmail. Now they don't syncronise at all. I have deleted the SYNC service book and had my carrier push the service book to me again. I have deleted and reconnected my gmail account. Plus rebooted my phone a least a half dozen times.
I was also curious about the frequency for gmail contacts to sync with the blackberry. Is this push based or does it happen every 2 or 6 hours.

How do I synch the contacts from my Berry to my google gmail account? When I go to my contacts and use options I have a contact list of unknown which has my contacts that I use for my bold. When I go to the unknown list under Wireless Synchronization it is grayed out and says unavailable. I can't figure out how to synch them. I want to back up my contacts online/gmail and be able to download them to future phones.

My wireless synchronization with my gmail contacts stopped working. When I change a contact on my BB or in my gmail contacts the 2 don't get synchronized. They used to. I even get an email from BB telling me that it stopped and I should change to Yes in my contacts list under my gmail account, but after checking it is set up to Yes. Why when I delete a Google email at the Gmail site will it not instantly delete the message from my BB 9900's unified inbox? It works instantly for my Yahoo account. There are times, and they're extremely rare, that I've noticed the message was also no longer on my BB but again, this is extremely rare. Would an Android phone work differently? My carrier is T-Mobile.

I have a Bold 9650 with Verizon and I set everything up to sync with outlook 2007 properly and it only picks up 2 contacts. I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.

All of the sudden my gmail on my iphone 4S is popping up saying "Cannot get Mail. The user name or password for imap.gmail.com" is incorrect. "
I have deleted the gmail off my phone. Gone to gmail on my laptop and changed the password. Went to settings and reset up, still getting same error. I have done the capta reset on both my phone and my laptop. Nothing.

I may have stopped "google framwork services" last week, but I do not think this is related.Basically, my gmail app no longer gets push notifications or syncs automatically.I have android 5.0.1. nexus 5 and the latest gmail app versions. I have checked all settings in the app, and made sure that all my sync settings are enabled. I can see that the last sync of gmail was over 30 minutes ago, yet I've sent emails to my gmail account since then and they appear on the web version.The app won;t show new emails until I manually refresh within the app.
I googled a bit and saw that some people with a similar issue dod a "factory reset" to solve. that seems a bit extreme. Is there any other way around this. I've done all the usual things, cleared data in gmail app and forced stop and restarted phone.I even removed my google account and readded it. nothing worked.

I had setup and Active Exchange account for my Gmail (this way I could also sync my mail, calendar, and todo lists easily). Everything was working smoothly, until I installed the Mircrosoft Apps update yesterday. Now I can no longer get this to work. It says my Inbox is empty and never finds any mail. It did work yesterday after I deleted the mail account re setup the active exchange account. But then last night I turned my phone off and this morning when I had turned it on, the account email inbox was all blank/empty. The Calendar was still synced though.Now I am trying to re setup the account, and its not working at all.(Nokia E7 Belle phone)

Saben, no me gusta tener contactos en la SIM, siempre se pueden perder, romper, te pueden robar el telefono, etc etc, por eso decidi guardar todos mis contactos en una cuenta de gmail y sincronizarlos con mi Xperia Mini Pro, claro, el problema es que en Gmail tengo mas de 8000 contactos, algunos con numero telefonico y otros que no, guardados en diferentes carpetas, he visto que gmail tiene por defecto una carpeta denominada "Starred with Android", sin embargo la sincronizacion la realiza con el total de contactos guardados en la cuenta de Gmail, y el usuario solo tiene algunas opciones en "Contactos para mostrar"... El problema es que cuando ingresamos a "Contactos" en el telefono y realizamos una busqueda, este busca en la totalidad de los contactos (es lo que pude ver) y el telefono se torna extremadamente lento (pues claro, buscar una persona de 8000). En resumen, solo hay opciones para "MOSTRAR" ciertos contactos pero no para elegir QUE carpeta incronizar y cual no.
Lo que quiero saber es si existe la posibilidad de que la sincronizacion de Gmail con el telefono se puede resrtringir solo a una carpeta definida, una carpeta donde pueda guardar 100 o 200 contactos y que el telefono no descargue tanta informacion inecesaria, por ende aumentar su velocidad de busqueda.

I have a Bold 9700 running 5.0.0.545 with bell mobility. When I upgraded to this version I am no longer able to type in a contact name from the home screen to dial them. I now have to go into the address book, then type their name. I can only enter numbers directly from the home screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

My Photon 4 G does not sync calendar, contact, Gmail with my company Gmail account. I believe that it just stopped syncing last week and I believe that it was following a Motorola update, but cannot say for sure. Under Data Delivery, both Background Data and Data enabled are checked green. However, this is interesting because Email and corporate sync is grayed out on that screen. When I go to Account, checking the sync options is not possible, but I can do a manual sync. Please note, at one time, these options to sync Contacts, Gmail and Calendar were available. I've pulled the batter. I really do not want to reset to factory default. Suggestions? (Please note this is a company Gmail account, not just regular Gmail.)

I have an AT&T Blackberry Torch 9800. I am using Blackberry Internet Service (BIS).I need to disable the AT&T Address Book contact synchronization feature from my device.Prior to the activation of the AT&T Address Book contact synchronization feature, I was successfully syncing my Google contacts with the Default address book on the device. Now that the AT&T Address Book has been activated, syncing with my Google contacts is no longer possible.I have not discovered how to disable the AT&T Address Book contact synchronization feature. The only option available is to "sync now" (with AT&T Address Book).
I have performed a Security Wipe on the device. It appears that it does not disable the AT&T Address Book contact synchronization feature, which reappears again.On the AT&T Blackberry Torch 9800, under Setup, there are different icons for features you want to set up. One of them is called AT&T Address Book. When you click on that icon, it begins the registration process for AT&T Address Book. You have the choice to Accept or Decline.Once accepted, all future contacts created on the device can only be listed on the AT&T Address Book contact list. It is no longer possible to create contacts in the Default address book on the device.

I have one Exchange account to Lotus Notes and one to Gmail.
I would like two sync the two contact lists, to make sure all contacts are available if I log in to Lotus Notes on my computer or Gmail on a computer. Is it possible to make these sync to the same contact group on my Iphone?
Now all contacts are available on the phone, but they are not synced to each other.

I had to reinstall my OS a couple weeks ago. I installed the official 5.0.0.328 from Verizon, and now for some reason, my contact lists aren't syncing with my Gmail account. I went into the settings to try to enable it, but the option is grayed out (it says that Wireless Synchronization is Not Available). What happened, and how do I fix my problem? I appreciate any help. BTW I have two GMail accounts on my phone so I don't want to use Google Sync.

I have had no problems until recently when I changed my email password and had to update my Bold settings for the new email password. Now when I send an invite from Calendar, it doesn't go out as a meeting invite, just text with no details of the meeting.

We have 5 Blackberry Bold 9700. We purchased these phones so that our engineers and sales guys can access their emails away from the office.Earlier this week our email server was taken offline for maintenance and all the Blackberrys asked us to validate our email accounts. It has asked us to do this before and we simply re-entered the details and away we went.Not this time though. Despite passwords, exchange address, usernames remaining the same we still consistently get the following error message.Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact document-options.co.uk I can access my emails via the exchange via the internet using the same details that i am putting into the blackberry so i know that they do work. Just can't get the blackberry to receive my emails.I am not to tech minded but i do have an IT team inhouse that manage the exchange server.I have spoken to vodafone who also tried to setup the email account their end but got the same error message.

I have a BB bold and I have a corproeate e-mai laccount installed. I also added my personal gmail account. The major problems I am hacing are:
1. When I send an e-mail from a computer, that sent item does not show up on my BB.
2. and Secondly, but not as important, My BB wants to ALWAYS use folders for e-mails with the same subject. I DO NOT have it set to use folders, but it contineus to. I have tried changing the setting a few times, but the BB does not see mto care and continues to use folders.
i have re-installed the gmail account a few times, and it does not seem to matter for the 2 issues above. Note that I am NOT using m.google.com. My reason is that, just like my corproate account, I want my BB to tell me (a beep, a vibrate, etc - whatever the setting - mine to 2 vibrates) when I recieve an e-mail.

I have had my Bold for almost two years now and I've NEVER had a problem... until now. I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. I've never had to use this password and email until now, therefore is should not have been changed. I don't know how to fix the settings at all especially since I can't log into my settings!

I have a BlackBerry 9900 on which i have set up 3 email accounts. One of them is my University address which works perfectly, it has ever since I activated BIS. Two of them are gmail accounts - but neither work. Although I validate them I get an error message saying that I have to activate IMAP on gmail. However I have already done this - I have been using Apple Mail to send and receive messages for 3 years now, using IMAP, so obviously my IMAP must be active. I've had my BB Curve 8520 for about a year and until recently it's worked perfectly. For about the last month or two, it has stopped synchronising my Outlook Contacts and Calendar. It goes through the process when I plug the handset in but the data does not transfer. It's probably not synchronising other data too but I only use it for calendar/contacts. I've moved from Virgin to Sky as my broadband provider during this period. There was a recent BB upgrade but the problem was there before this took place? I seem to only have an option to sychronise giving priority to either the mobile or the PC or to create duplications if differences are found, none of this is satisfactory as I enter data on both and need true two way synchronisation. I've also noticed that birthdays from Facebook are now appearing on my mobile (not something I want) and appointments are appearing in various different colours.

I have a bold 9700, software version=6.0 Bundle 2921.I recently downloaded the latest OS update (6 I'm assuming) the day it was released. I went to add a new contact to my phone book yesterday for the first time after I downloaded the update and it does nothing when I click it. I've tried right clicking and adding a new contact, just clicking on the new contact in the phone book. And nothing, if I click it enough it freezes my phone, and when I restart it throws me an exception about the phone book.I've taken out my battery/sim card and still doesn't work. Has to be a bug in the code since its throwing an exception.

So today I had a unrecoverable 552 error and decided to just upgrade Sprint's 5.0 OS. Everything seems to be working fine, except now I'm getting the problem that the enhanced g-mail plugin isn't working correctly. I have it installed, but it doesn't seem to add any options for stars, labels, etc. It's listed in the applications page in the options, so I'm not sure what to do. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it countless times and did a battery pull after each. Does anyone know what may be causing this problem?

I had recently to perform a full reset of my BB ("cleaning the terminal").
Since then, I do no longer receives the email from the 2 gmail accounts I have configured. I tried to suppress then reconfigure the accounts, without any success. The BB can actually connect to the gmail servers, because I can send emails with these accounts. But I do not receive anything. I still receive the email from my company (default) account (desktop).
