BB Bold :: 9650 OS6 Reboots When Click "login" To Gmail?

If I connect to gmail via the browser on my Bold, when I hit "login" the phone reboots. The screen goes black, and there's a long error message, which stays only briefly on the screen. The first line of it says something like ARM1 DAL critical failure. Then it completely shuts down and starts up again.I can get to any other website via the phone's web browser, and I can also access my gmail account using the gmail app.I'm running the most recent version of software for the Bold 9650.

This problem began when I tried to access my gmail account while sitting in a sports betting bar in a Las Vegas hotel, where they have a sign that it's illegal to email or text betting information. Could they have nobbled my phone? The only reason I wanted to look at my gmail was because I'd seen a news item saying that information about users of a service I'd signed up for, had their information hacked by Anonymous and posted on a third party website. I was trying to get to gmail to change my password.
