Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to take a very, very long time to retrieve the device model information. It is extremely quick up to that point, and then when the "round circular M" appears, it seems that it is stalled for some reason. I know I have more than 100 photos and a few videos, but should it take up to half an hour?

I'm using an AC charger and it appears it will take a least 3 hours to go from 10 to 100%. Seems too long. Is this normal?

Called VZW up they claim that google pushed out an update which breaks Nav. I called BS, then he tried to blame it on the hurricane.I have been through 4 of these phones, all with different annoying problems, Getting tired of it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to sync my iPhone, whether it's with the usb cable or over wifi, it gets stuck at 'step 7 of 7, waiting for items to copy'. Generally it waits there for about 15 minutes and then starts copying thousands of tracks. There's no apparant problem with the music that it's trying to copy to the phone & it's not doing it with the entire library. I know it's not a major problem, but an action that used to take a few minutes at most, has started to take up to an hour.

Having a bit of problems with my 8520.1st of all-when the battery is very low (which is everyday, as the battery is only lasting a few hours) it cuts off completely and when switched on, it takes a long long time to come on (getting white screen with hourglass. When it comes back on, it has erased all information which has been previously stored...fone numbers/messages etc.When trying to delete apps, it cuts off again.I dont know if settings are to blame or what, but it is really getting annoying!! Have lost a couple of important numbers and messages because it seems to have reset itself.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to ios5.1 my phone takes a very long time trying to connect to my email servers, check for new mail, and to update email status. After deleting emails, the Mailboxes window often takes a very long time updating status to reflect the emails as read.
This process used take no time at all, but now simply connecting to the servers after selecting the Mail icon can take 30+ seconds. Also, when it indicates the email boxes as updated, the spinning clock icon at the top status bar is still going.

I've been having issues with email in my Hotmail account taking a long time to make it to the mailbox my iPhone and MBP. Sending works fine. But, emails don't appear until much later. It used to be instantaneous.

I'm new to these boards and to blackberry's so my question might be something simple that i just missed. I added a contact to my phone book from a text message i received from someone. it put their phone number under work instead of mobile. so i copied it and pasted it. But now i can figure out how to clear that out. whenever i text someone or what not, it keeps saying paste and still has that person's number in there. is there a way to clear out the copied info so that paste doesn't show up all the time. i have a blackberry bold 9700.

I have downloaded and installed MPT 4.5 as I don't have the original CD, I have then updated it all the way up to 5.31a. Despite the Motorola site (after significant searching) saying that it is supported from 4.6 I have not at any version been able to connect the phone. The most common error was the 'your phone has reported that it cannot sync at this time' but now with the latest version I get the message after a few minutes of 'ready phone memory contents'.

Last night I checked the battery usage and noticed something called 'RILD' was using up 14% of my battery life. What is it? Can you get rid of it? Why was it appearing last night but today after power cycling my phone it's no longer on the list of battery uses?
In addition I noticed that it seems to be taking much longer to charge my battery now than it did before. My car charger seems to be ineffective at charging even though it appears to be working correctly. The light on the charger is lighting up and my phone's indicator is showing it as being charged. But after 30 minutes of charging it hasn't budged the battery meter one iota.
I just bought a Cellaris case for my iPhone 4S, but I can't connect my iPhone to my iHome (model iH27B) with the case on. Now I don't want to take the case off because it is hard to do and I feel like the case will break after multiple disassembles. Is there anything I can use to connect my iPhone to my iHome?

I've noticed recently that it takes a while to start loading a page from the time I click the browser icon (in homescreen tray at bottom).
From homescreen:
1) Click on browser icon in tray
2) Browser window pops up fairly quickly, says "Loading ..." in address bar for up to 30 seconds or more
3) URL of previous page then shows up in address bar (replaces "Loading ...") and page then starts to load, fairly quickly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Motoactv owner. Today is the first time I tried to sync my workouts and view them online. It takes a very long time to complete the sync (5-10 minutes). The first time it supposedly synced, my workouts were not uploaded to the site. When I log onto the website, that is also incredibly slow. Every link I click takes extraordinarilly long. When I try to view my work out, I get an error ("Internal Error has occurred..."), and it tells me to log out and log back in. But that doesn't result in anything different.

What I am refering to is, the device OS is working but I try to open apps and nothing is happening, I can hit the home key and the apps button and they work but opening any apps nothing will happen. Sometime the apps will partialy open but sit there.
What i noticed when this is happening is the device is syncing. I am assuming it is doing my facebook, picasa, you tube, and twitter sync. Somethimes it recovers and works and sometimes it has the sync symbol an hour later and I have to reboot the device.
my phone takes very very long time to send pictures on phone via gmail. I have sort of good connection and i tested uploading pics on facebook and picasa with out any problem, but with gmail it just stays at sending and some times it even don't show that status in gmail client. It is so frustrating. I have reset my phone manytimes and I have updated software.

Of course, this can be done by just playing repeatedly high pitched sounds, which, depending on the kind of mosquito you want to get rid off, may be in the range from 14 to 25 KHz.
Since I don't know whether playing so highly pitched sounds for a long time could damage the phone, I've asked the Italian support. They looked confused, indeed.
At first, they asked which app was I asking about and said that, anyway, all apps from the Market "are developed and managed directly by Google" (sic).
Then, when I pointed out that, put aside the fact that apps in the Market are not being developed by Google, I wasn't talking about apps and software but of particular sounds and hardware, they escalated the question to their technical department.
I was asked again which app I wanted information about (!!) and then, after telling again that I meant nothing more than playing a 14-25 KHz-pitched mp3 for a long time, they answered that no, that may not harm the phone but they couldn't be 100% sure.
I've asked them about the audio playback hardware, about who produced it and whether those latter could answer. The final answer, that they suppose is enough to close my ticket, is that "nobody could say for sure that playing high-pitched tones for a long time wouldn't damage the phone".
This is a nonsense to me, since hardware must have technical specs. Does Motorola International have got a better answer?
So I starting the process to upgrade my 16GB iPhone 3G last night to OS4. After a few hours I stopped it because it kept getting hung up during the backup, or so I thought. I then deleted all the video on my phone, thinking that would speed thinks up with the backup. I got my data down to less than 3GB, started the download again and went to bed.
After letting the download run all night, I checked it today only see it again appears to be stuck at around 1% of the backup process. I will let it run for another day, but are you kidding me?
How many days does it take to finish this freaking upgrade?
I have a Curve 8530 on Telus (about 7 months old). It takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes for me to receive an email. My huband (9700 on Telus) has sent me an email and we timed it to take 14 minutes. I have 2 accounts on the BB - a corporate and a hotmail account, and the timing is the same for either. I have done a battery pull, backed up my phone and updated it - nothing works.

1) I've been charging the phone for about 18 hours now and it's only gotten to 75% (My battery app has an estimate of 1 day and 2 hours to reach 100%).
2) The wifi on the phone is very slow (about 3 mbps when my internet plan has a max of 30 mbps).
For the charging problem I've tried resets, other android chargers, and hooking the charger to a reliable wall outlet but none have worked so far. For the wifi, it looks like the phone works fine with other wifi signals except my home one although my roommate's phone works at home as well.
I have been trying to download several apps to my iphone 4s and it is taking way too long. Like more than an hour. What is wrong? I have tried rebooting it and that has not made a difference.
