yesterday I bought the Galaxy S6 from Tmobile in store and requested to have my number ported. That was around 4:30 or so. It's been almost 20 hours and I really don't know why it's taking so long. I called them last night and they said there was no errors. It's being ported over from Sprint prepaid.

Every time I try to sync my iPhone, whether it's with the usb cable or over wifi, it gets stuck at 'step 7 of 7, waiting for items to copy'. Generally it waits there for about 15 minutes and then starts copying thousands of tracks. There's no apparant problem with the music that it's trying to copy to the phone & it's not doing it with the entire library. I know it's not a major problem, but an action that used to take a few minutes at most, has started to take up to an hour.

Having a bit of problems with my 8520.1st of all-when the battery is very low (which is everyday, as the battery is only lasting a few hours) it cuts off completely and when switched on, it takes a long long time to come on (getting white screen with hourglass. When it comes back on, it has erased all information which has been previously stored...fone numbers/messages etc.When trying to delete apps, it cuts off again.I dont know if settings are to blame or what, but it is really getting annoying!! Have lost a couple of important numbers and messages because it seems to have reset itself.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to ios5.1 my phone takes a very long time trying to connect to my email servers, check for new mail, and to update email status. After deleting emails, the Mailboxes window often takes a very long time updating status to reflect the emails as read.
This process used take no time at all, but now simply connecting to the servers after selecting the Mail icon can take 30+ seconds. Also, when it indicates the email boxes as updated, the spinning clock icon at the top status bar is still going.

I've been having issues with email in my Hotmail account taking a long time to make it to the mailbox my iPhone and MBP. Sending works fine. But, emails don't appear until much later. It used to be instantaneous.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I have an S6e and since last week I noticed that when I double tap to launch or launch from the app the camera can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to focus. I try to refocus by pointing it at a few things or touching the screen but it doesn't so anything. I haven't used the camera in a few weeks, could that be it? Sometimes I have to exit out of the camera because it doesn't focus at all but then it still takes a bit to focus on things
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a SGS2 that is one year old, I still use gingerbred 2.3.3, and I haven't attempted anything special prior to getting the problem. I first noticed I had a problem when I booted my phone yesterday: booting took much more time than it use too, but then it worked. After entering my password, I got access to the usual page, but then, pop-ups appeared one after the other saying: "Sorry, need to close the application "name it". Thanks for trying again" (don't know what's the precise wording in english because mine is in an other language... still, you get the picture). The phone still works for calling, SMS and a bunch of apps... but applications like facebook, twitter, lookout, dropbox and a few games won't boot anymore.
Other things I noticed:
- I lost a few apps (at least 2) that disappeared completely from the phone
- I can't erase the cache when accessing settings/storage. Also, it won't recognize the SD Card space availability in the storage section. However, when looking at it by accessing settings/applications/memory usage, I can see what are the apps on my SD card.
- There is no correlation between the apps that have problems and the ones found on the internal SD memory card.
- Over the past month, my phone would sometime reboot after being closed. Didn't happen frequently, but I read this could be linked to the USB port? Anyway, just saying it here while I'm typing something.
- Finally, I have the feeling the OS version is not the one i had previously (downgraded?) because several apps asked to be updated after rebooting the phone a few times. Just I feeling because if i changed the OS for an upgrade, it was over 10 months ago.
So that's it. I already tried booting with the three buttons trick to erase the cache in basic mode: didn't changed a thing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I starting the process to upgrade my 16GB iPhone 3G last night to OS4. After a few hours I stopped it because it kept getting hung up during the backup, or so I thought. I then deleted all the video on my phone, thinking that would speed thinks up with the backup. I got my data down to less than 3GB, started the download again and went to bed.
After letting the download run all night, I checked it today only see it again appears to be stuck at around 1% of the backup process. I will let it run for another day, but are you kidding me?
How many days does it take to finish this freaking upgrade?
I have a Curve 8530 on Telus (about 7 months old). It takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes for me to receive an email. My huband (9700 on Telus) has sent me an email and we timed it to take 14 minutes. I have 2 accounts on the BB - a corporate and a hotmail account, and the timing is the same for either. I have done a battery pull, backed up my phone and updated it - nothing works.

1) I've been charging the phone for about 18 hours now and it's only gotten to 75% (My battery app has an estimate of 1 day and 2 hours to reach 100%).
2) The wifi on the phone is very slow (about 3 mbps when my internet plan has a max of 30 mbps).
For the charging problem I've tried resets, other android chargers, and hooking the charger to a reliable wall outlet but none have worked so far. For the wifi, it looks like the phone works fine with other wifi signals except my home one although my roommate's phone works at home as well.
I have been trying to download several apps to my iphone 4s and it is taking way too long. Like more than an hour. What is wrong? I have tried rebooting it and that has not made a difference.

I needed to do a security wipe on my phone, I wanted it back to factory settings, like right out of the box. I was running OS 5.0.0.419, and went to Options > Security > and used the Security Wipe option. I chose to wipe contacts, emails, and device data. I did not choose to wipe the media/sd card though. Only device memory was to be wiped.I see the "Erasing information... Warning: Do not pull the battery out until erasing is complete" message, but it has been going on for about 2 hours now. Should it be taking this long?
I see the hourglass spinning, then it disappears, then in a bit comes back...I read online that it normally takes about an hour to do this, but I'm going on 2 hours now and it's still isn't finished.What would happen if I removed the battery while it's in the middle of this? I can't tell if it's frozen up or not, I've never seen it take this long to do a wipe.
I have upgraded my SK17i to ICS when I first bought it and update it again with 587 update last months. But my phone have this lag problem so, I thought I repair it via PC Companion today. The problem is, phase 3 (updating) phase doesn't seems to progress. The progress bar is at zero for an hour now and my internet is connected.
Update: This is taking too long for me to wait, I'm cancelling the update by clicking the [x] button. I hope it doesn't touch anything on the system and just downloading the update file.
Update 2: I cannot boot my phone now, it shows yellow triangle with exlamation mark.
