BB Torch :: Update Taking To Long For 9810?
Sep 9, 2012i got an email saying that i should update my phone and the backup part of the update is taking at least 2 hours and more, how do i speed up this process?

BB Torch :: OS 7.1 Update On 9810 Taking 14+ Hours?
Mar 22, 2012I started the update from OS 7 to OS 7.1 on my 9810 at around 17:00 yesterday. I am writing this 14 hours later and the device is currently "Linking Java". It took 1+ hours to download the 47MB OS to the phone using Wifi (not cell) only.

Dec 29, 2011I have a bb 9810. and the camera has a glitch. As long as the phone is turned on out of no where the camera would pop up and take multiple pics till i close it but even then it will still pop up again and take more pics till i close the camera app and its a cycle basically. But the good thing is that it doesn't do it all the time but when it does it becomes very annoying and reaches to the point where i cant do anything on the bb because the camera keeps popping up and taking pics. I tried installing the different os systems that my carrier offers but the same issue.

Jun 28, 2012I was unable to update my iOs by just using my phone, so I plug it to my computer on itunes but the internet connection here is quite poor, so I have to wait for 4 hours to complete my 802.8mb software update download, I plugged my phone in the computer at almost 75% battery charge, so if i wait until the software was fully downloaded my phone will be plugged for almost 3 hours and will be over-charged. does an iphone 4s battery be overcharged? or is it okay to plug it in a long time even if the battery reached its 100% charging level? and does it affect my battery life?

Mar 19, 2012After upgrading to ios5.1 my phone takes a very long time trying to connect to my email servers, check for new mail, and to update email status. After deleting emails, the Mailboxes window often takes a very long time updating status to reflect the emails as read.
This process used take no time at all, but now simply connecting to the servers after selecting the Mail icon can take 30+ seconds. Also, when it indicates the email boxes as updated, the spinning clock icon at the top status bar is still going.

Lumia 1520 :: Restore Process Is Taking Unusually Long After Update
Jul 30, 2014So we're all probably pretty much busy with updating our Lumia Handsets with the Cyan update.I rolled back my DP to 8.0 and updated just fine, however after resetting the phone and setting it up by telling it to restore it from the backup, it gets stuck around at 25% and fails to move ahead.
I keep getting a message after a while saying that the restore process is taking unusually long and if I'd like to skip restoring instead. After waiting for approx. 30 mins once, and then doing it again and waiting for almost an hour, I've now initiated a reset on the phone a third time.
Having issues restoring from their backup? (Note: I moved to 8.0 from DP last week and then updated to 8.1 DP again and did a restore then and it had worked perfectly at the time without issues.

Mar 28, 2012I have updated my device (Torch 9810) a few months ago and from that moment on the touch screen is not operating properly. Sometimes it works but most of the times it does not. Also the track pad does not always work properly after the upgrade. IPhone :: OS4 Upgrade Taking So Long
Jun 22, 2010So I starting the process to upgrade my 16GB iPhone 3G last night to OS4. After a few hours I stopped it because it kept getting hung up during the backup, or so I thought. I then deleted all the video on my phone, thinking that would speed thinks up with the backup. I got my data down to less than 3GB, started the download again and went to bed.
After letting the download run all night, I checked it today only see it again appears to be stuck at around 1% of the backup process. I will let it run for another day, but are you kidding me?
How many days does it take to finish this freaking upgrade?

My huband (9700 on Telus) has sent me an email and we timed it to take 14 minutes. I have 2 accounts on the BB - a corporate and a hotmail account, and the timing is the same for either. I have done a battery pull, backed up my phone and updated it - nothing works.

1) I've been charging the phone for about 18 hours now and it's only gotten to 75% (My battery app has an estimate of 1 day and 2 hours to reach 100%).
2) The wifi on the phone is very slow (about 3 mbps when my internet plan has a max of 30 mbps).
For the charging problem I've tried resets, other android chargers, and hooking the charger to a reliable wall outlet but none have worked so far. For the wifi, it looks like the phone works fine with other wifi signals except my home one although my roommate's phone works at home as well.

It has been restoring for days now and I can't back up to iCloud unitl it has finished restoring.Â
