Motorola :: Razr2 V9 - MPT Refuse To Read Contacts Or Any Other Info

I have a RAZR2 v9 which I have been trying desperately to get my contacts and calendars from using a Windows 7 PC and MPT. I have downloaded and installed MPT 4.5 as I don't have the original CD, I have then updated it all the way up to 5.31a. Despite the Motorola site (after significant searching) saying that it is supported from 4.6 I have not at any version been able to connect the phone. The most common error was the 'your phone has reported that it cannot sync at this time' but now with the latest version I get the message after a few minutes of 'ready phone memory contents'.
Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to take a very, very long time to retrieve the device model information. It is extremely quick up to that point, and then when the "round circular M" appears, it seems that it is stalled for some reason. I know I have more than 100 photos and a few videos, but should it take up to half an hour?
I was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know. Can somebody please tell if there is a way to save/backup text messages from phone, either to memory card or via usb. I am getting my phone repaired and don't want to share my texts with world but want to save them. I have actually been wanting to find a way to do this for some time as I keep getting memory full. There are some texts that I definitely want to save. I don't see the texts in phone tools when phone is disconneted from PC and I don't see a SMS option in the backup utlility.
When charging, it will not stay off. Tried shutting it down with the pop-up menu and by holding the power button for 30 seconds. Shuts down and boots right back up. If the phone is off and then I plug it in, it starts up. This happens when plugged in to a computer, a 3rd party charger, or battery pack, but not when plugged in to the turbo charger that came with it. When plugged in to the charger that came with it it will go to the charging screen. All of this is with the same cable. So the cable type isn't the issue. Well, could be. The cable is a data cable and I don't have a power only to test with.
Does anyone know how to get an Iphone unlocked from O2 if O2 refuse to do it? I've been told that warranty could be void if someone else does it (ie a backstreet stall)
I have 2 contacts with the same name but different info under each contact. How do I delete one of the contacts? I can't do delete through duplicate contacts. One contact has the info I need. The other same contact just has an email address that's no longer valid. I can't find a way to just delete it.
I connect the phone to PC and switched to offline mode, so it shouldn't consume much electricity, when I come back an hour later I find the phone stopped charging, it on and off refuse to charge for no reason, this is very annoying
As a rule images I add to text messages go through without a problem, but there are a couple people I text where images refuse to post.
I have discovered that if they originate a text any images I attach will post in my response. But if I originate the text the image does not post.
Neither of them knows why. They are running with default settings and have never, knowingly, blocked images. In fact they both tell me they get images from other people, just not from me.
I've purchased several albums from the same artist and when I download them from the cloud to put on my iPhone, it will not download certain songs on some albums.Â
I assume its because the same song is on another album already on the phone and its trying to conserve space, however, I listen to music by album, not songs or playlists, so I want to keep an album intact and have all the songs downloaded even if they're on other albums.Â
Whenever I download them, it says they're downloading and takes the time to do it, but then when I go to the album, it does not show them on the phone.Â
How can I make the phone download all the songs on every album regardless of whether the song is on another album or not?
I have a samsung galaxy s5 and all of my information linked to my contacts is gone, including, names, pics and ringtones. All of my call logs and texts are still all there but only have a number attached to them. Is there a way to get all of the missing information back?
Is there a program that can instantly (couple of mins =acceptable) transfer phone numbers and other such things from my old HTC touch diamond (windows mobile 6.1) to my Blackberry bold 9700?
When I got my 9800 I used DM to do the device switch from my 9000. Now all I have in my Contacts are emails addresses. No phone numbers, none!, some contacts without emails addresses are just missing, and no home addresses. I thought all that info was on my sim card? I did do a back-up, but it says the file is an IPD and it won't open.

I have a 3GS and need to sync contacts to iTunes in order to sync to the 4S. I have an account linked to my husbands and I am trying to figure out which prompt to choose "merge info" or "replace info". Ideally I do not wish to merge my contacts with his, I just wish to have it seperate.
I recently updated to 2.12 on my X10 (Ireland). Everything went ok with the exception of contacts. I used the backup and restore application prior to the update and backed up everything. I have the (well documented) problem of "No Contacts - Cannot read from SIM... - My Number" - also, my number "unknown" in Settings->Phone status etc.
The solution, as posted in many internet locations, is to get an old Sony or Samsung and edit "My Number" on the SIM, save and re-install into X10.
I cannot get an old Sony or Samsung phone. When I use back and restore->restore contacts = no success. Also, I tried using the import contacts->SIM Card from phonebook/contacts menu = No Contacts on your SIM card.
I have recently got a Nokia 6301 and put all my contact is. However when someone rings me neither their name or number comes up on the screen - just "call". What I have I done wrong? I have put the contact name in and phone number under "general".
Ii did a master clear to wipe out contacts and info on iphone 3g and it said about an hour and it never came back on just an apple appears and it doesnt come up in itunes to restore?
Somehow some of the contacts on the "Messaging contacts list" have mixed info. For instance the name doesn't match the picture or the name and picture do not match the related cell no. (1) How do I delete the contact entirely? (2) How do I edit the related info? (3) What if for instance my contact changed their cell no. and I need to edit the list or the info on a particular contact?
My IPhone4S occasionally changes names on received mail to telephone numbers, it also deletes any names that were in Contacts - if I change an email back to a name that Contact is not lost
I just got a replacement Atrix and was wondering if there was a quick way to transfer everything from the old phone to the new. I use Lookout, so I guess I will get my call logs and photos back, but wondering if there's a quick and easy way to transfer all my apps, etc.

I'm going to try changing my micro SD card due to some technical issues I'm having. Is there a way to copy all of it's data to the phone such as photos/music?
That way I don't lose anything when I put in a new micro SD?
I can't figure out why my xoom no longer saves my log in info, not only on this site but on all sites all the time! I used to only have to enter my password for email ,banking and other sites like these because my user name was always saved but now when i click on "keep me logged in" nothing happens and i have to enter all my info for every site i'm on now every time i go on them, very annoying.
