Is there a program that can instantly (couple of mins =acceptable) transfer phone numbers and other such things from my old HTC touch diamond (windows mobile 6.1) to my Blackberry bold 9700?

Recently got an 9700 Bold and i would like to transfer my contacts from an old 8310 via bluetooth.I've tried connecting the 2 devices and although they can 'find' each other and pair up, when i click connect it instantly pops up "connection to xxxxx failed" - both are discoverable, passcode is correct, trusted is set to yes. would appreciate any help you guys can give!

View 4 Replies View RelatedRedirect me to a post that may already be up or useful. First off, I apologize if I am posting a deja vu post. Secondly, I'd like to know if anyone has a fix for my 9700, I have owned this phone for 2 months, one week in to using my bold, I lost all of my info, everything was gone. It went back to the original background pic and everything. It didn't really phase me because I had only had it for a week and had only put in a few contacts.This morning I woke up to my BB plugged into my Macbook, which is the usual site, but when I unplugged the bold 9700 from my macbook everything was gone again, I took it to the bell store and they said there was nothing they could do, and that "that shouldn't happen, did you back up your phone?" I of course haven't had the time to back up my phone and I know it would save me right now but this still should never happen, I was only charging my phone and now everything on my phone is gone. I play JR hockey and all of my hockey connections, emails and texts are in that phone, I literally have 200+ contacts that I need and can't ever get back.

When ever I get a text message it just shows the phone number not the name, however when I connect to my home wi-fi, the name populate the text messages but when I dissconnect from the WI-FI the names go away and the phone numbers appear...I must have done something stupid when I was setting up my contacts and or WI-FI
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I need a step by step guide on how to transfer all content from my nokia E72 to Blackberry 9700 Bold.

A bunch of things in Android still don't work right, but that's not the question I have here: Is there any way to exit Android without pulling the battery of the phone? I've found lots of sites that say that it can be installed, lots that say how to install it, and lots that are working out functionality problems within Android (on non-native phones)--but none that address this question.

I backup the pictures separatly as jpg.rem, and transferred it to my PC, any idea how to transfer it to jpg?
The contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed that my bold 9700 is restarting on its own , then the screen become white with writing JVM error 503, I search the internet to find out what happen, but few second later the phone rebooted own its own.
so i cross my finger while it was doing it. to my relieve it starts ok. But after few hours when i want to call somebody on my phone book, to my horror, the whole contacts on the address book are gone, not even 1 left, it’s totally empty. bbm, notepad, email, bookmarks, sms are fine , nothing is missing only the contacts are gone, and I’m now overseas for company meeting, and i didn’t bring any backup file with me, I’ve been a maniac for smart phones, i used Symbian, IPhone, android, winMo, etc and NONE of them ever give me such a problem out of no where, my 2000+ contacts are gone. And no I didn’t install or do anything to my phone since few weeks, cause I’m on my business trip.
is there any solution to my problem? I’ve tried sending service book bust doesn’t seem to help. Seriously, if Any of RIM employee or designer happens to see this post, i got question for you. This supposed to be a business phone, and now all my business contacts are gone.
My apologies if this is discussed somewhere else, I looked, couldnt find it. So does anybody know of an easy way to sync my contacts FROM my blackberry TO my gmail contacts? I have google sync on my phone, but that only messed up my contacts by dumping a bunch of duplicates into my BB contacts and it doesnt seem to reverse sync. I have since deleted my gmail contacts so I dont suffer this fate again, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to reverse sync from BB to gmail.

I'm trying to transfer photos from my Blackberry Bold to my Mac Book.I see threads about doing this for Curves and Pearls, but not Bolds.Is there anyone out there who has a sequential, step by step about how to do this? It seems like the Media Sync I downloaded is just in fact part of the Desktop Manager, which doesn't have anything on the interface about transferring photos (just music).This device takes such great pictures I'd love to see them on my computer

I notice that all songs are gleaned from the Windows media player on my computer-so I tried to add them to a playlist but with no success. I transferred the files directly to my phone and they end up in files, I am then unable to select them as a ringtone.I don't know how to use the BB desktop to transfer them-it seems to only sync with the playlists of the cds I have ripped.
