I have a new Razr Maxx and my email and calendar are syncing with my office Outlook account, but I can't get the contacts to sync. They were loaded originally (at the Verizon Wireless store) off of my old phone, but they will not sync.
View 2 RepliesI was surprised to find that the Droid Razr HD does not have a Tasks To Do or Notes app that corresponds to the Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for reliable Apps for the phone that will sync with Outlook on my PC. I do not want to leave my private information in a cloud where some 14-year-old hacker can get at it. I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Any advice on apps that do those chores and sync directly to the PC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWell the last week or so I have noticed that my email account is not syncing with my Razr Maxx HD - It is an outlook account - it also does the same thing with my Yahoo account as well I tried looking in settings for sync frequency but there is not option to set - I know on previouse phones there has been option for it but not this one.. Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy corporate account (Exchange/Activesync server) hasn't synced since the update was installed Saturday, June 30th. It was syncing fine pre-ICS, however, post-ICS nothing. The screenshot reflects the message I receive when attempting to set up the account on the phone.
In troubleshooting, I have tried removing the account (only initially following the upgrade, account will not complete set up since) and adding it again.
Also, all other email accounts (gmail, earthlink, hotmail, yahoo) are connecting fine, only having problems with the Corporate account. Additionally, I need this to work more for the calendar sync than the email, especially since I separate my work/personal calendars via this account, Google, and personal version of Outlook.
Is there an easy way to sync Outlook contacts and calendar without Exchange? This is the only problem I have encountered with my new Bionic. The calendar synced, but I have lost my categories, etc. The contacts synched, but I seem to have three of everything (???). Is there a way to delete all the contacts on the phone and start over? I find it hard to believe someone has not come up with an App to make a direct USB sync with the PC, given the Extensive use of Outlook...

Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded my Xoom to ICS and linked it up to my companies Outlook using Active Exchange. Everything is working fine except for syncing my contacts. I have subfolders under my Contacts folder (e.g. Work, Personal, etc.) that are not visible/syncing. Is there a way either within the native e-mail client or an app that will let me sync the contacts subfolders? I do not want to root the Xoom. My iPhone does this natively but I'm not sure that ICS can.

The coporate email is one of the main functions that I use my phone for, so its very important that it works correctly. I have tried it off WIFI and on WIFI with the same issues. It just periodically loses connection with the server and gives error message that says "Couldn't find connection to server". Like I said, this may last for only couple of hours or most of the day and then it just starts working again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
I set up my corporate Exchange account using the Corporate Sync. It works fine when I am on 4G but when I switch to my Netgear 600 router at home I cannot sync with the Exchange account. Everything else works while on Wifi including my Gmail.

I recently did a factory reset on my device and now when I log into facebook thru the account settings I am able to log in but my contacts don't show in my contact lists anymore and when I go into social networks I don't have any feed showing up like I did prior to the reset. I can post a status update with no problems. I logged into facebook and checked settings and still have droid in my allow applications to access my info. Is anybody else having this issue after a master reset? Is this issue maybe on facebooks side? Like I stated I've done many master resets on my droid x and droid x2 and never had the issue syncing fb back up.
