Jan 9, 2012I would like to sync all contacts on my phone with Outlook. Motocast only does 58 of them. How can I do this? Motorola Atrix 2?

Jan 25, 2012I just recently upgraded my Xoom to ICS and linked it up to my companies Outlook using Active Exchange. Everything is working fine except for syncing my contacts. I have subfolders under my Contacts folder (e.g. Work, Personal, etc.) that are not visible/syncing. Is there a way either within the native e-mail client or an app that will let me sync the contacts subfolders? I do not want to root the Xoom. My iPhone does this natively but I'm not sure that ICS can.

Dec 16, 2011I have a Droid Razr and have had a non-stop Motocast synching icon in my notification bar. The first time it happened I went to Verizon store. The only way they removed it was to power cycle my phone. The second time it happened I power cycled the phone. Now it is happening again. Is anyone else having this issue

A long time ago this once worked and I had 126 contacts on my cell and in outlook. 2 crashed laptops later I have never been successful to get those 126 contacts back in Outlook. I have 2 email accounts set up on my Blackberry. I have tried deleting the service book, deleting and reinstalling the BB Desktop Software and it will only sync the contacts from my gmail account (26 entries) and not the one from my verizon (126 entries)

Mar 28, 2011Is RIM going to fix the problem with latest device update? With the newest update,it kills the syncing of contacts with Outlook. I had to down grade just to get it working again. Gives my a pause when thinking about getting the Playbook, "Will I have issues since I can't upgrade my device?" Rim doesn't seem to have a solution for this, Verizon doesn't have a solution (except to send you a replacement phone)

Sep 1, 2010I never had this problem before. I was syncing my torch contacts with outlook. No problem. Then I upgraded the torch. No I no longer have a default contact list, only AT&T phonebook. I am no longer able to sync with outlook. I can even figure out how to create a different contact list and make it default.

Mar 26, 2012I downloaded the new software for my iPhone 4S, it has stopped syncing my calendar and contacts with my home Outlook. Any new contacts or events I enter into Outlook won't show up on my phone and any new contacts or events I enter in my phone won't show up with Outlook. I use the USB port to sync every few days with my computer. Nothing has been erased, i.e. all my old events and contacts are still there, but nothing new will add. I have not changed any settings on my phone or on itunes, and I even turned off the overall calendar option and selected single calendars to try, but to no avail.

May 30, 2012My Outlook stores multiple contacts for the same person automatically (one with an email address only, one with a phone number only, etc.). When my iPhone syncs with the cloud it stores those multiple contacts and makes it frustrating to look up one person's number and email under separate entries. My Palm Treo 700p allows me to view/edit these long notes. Can the notes field of the BB contact manager handle this many characters or will it be truncated to a shorter length? I am a small operation not using an Exchange Server. Also, do I need any other device software than what comes with the BB to sync with my PC's local Outlook PST?

May 29, 2012I was really glad that Motorola had finally released a sync utility for mac! My phone hasn't been able to do this since I bought it. Anyway. I have downloaded and installed the latest version of MotoCast App and installed 'Motorola PIM Sync' on my Milestone device (as per instructed on the website.) I've activated the app on my phone 'Contact Sync App is now Active' message appeared.
I've done everything correctly right? MotoCast USB opens up, and displays the 'Please wait while MotoCast USB loads content from your phone'. I can leave it there for up to half an hour and no progress is indicated. It is really important that I can sync my phone.

Dec 26, 2012I was surprised to find that the Droid Razr HD does not have a Tasks To Do or Notes app that corresponds to the Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for reliable Apps for the phone that will sync with Outlook on my PC. I do not want to leave my private information in a cloud where some 14-year-old hacker can get at it. I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Any advice on apps that do those chores and sync directly to the PC?

Dec 8, 2011I have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app.That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.

Jul 24, 2012Motocast app was preloaded on new razr. I manually loaded motocast software on desktop and laptop. Motocast working great for getting pictures to and from desktop & laptop. I called tech suppoirt for email problem and was told to update my device to the latest OS. I did this and after rebooting device, there was no motocast app/logo and no USB selection window. I now can not download pics and can only upload files from my desktop and laptop.

MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."
