View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Contacts are not syncing to iPhone after making lots (200 - 300) edits in Address Book on my MBP. The edits do not appear on the iPhone. It's asthough the data is not even recognised. I've r=tried resetting sync history in iSync prefs, as well clicking on 'replacing data for next sync only' option in iTunes. No success.

I am sure that this information is probably posted somewhere in these forums, but Ive tried 5-6 different searches and cant find what I need to know, so thought I'd try a post. I only want to transfer a portion of the contacts in my Outlook 2007 address book over to my BB, and keep those contacts through each synchronization (dont want to synchronize and have them all show up).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI cant seem to remove the AT&T Address Book, and after hrs on the phone with AT&T and RIM seems no one knows how to?! I am pretty proficient with tinkering with Blackberry's but I don't see anywhere in the OS a way to revert the contact list to default and remove the AT&T Address Book completely from the phone. This is really screwing up my back ups and contact list and I would appreciate some input from the true BB knowledge base on the web!
Just got the Torch, lovin' it so far, but Im having trouble transferring my address book/other data to it. Blackberry 6 did all the steps, but I still have nothing on my Torch that was on my Bold (i.e. address book, or any other media).

View 4 Replies View RelatedNew here and a tad bit upset with my failure to synch the address book. I had it in originally, I used a 'skype out' product to export skype contacts to Outlook, then I usefully synced to Outlook, but had a bunch of repeated addresses. Found a solution to delete address book and to reimport from Outlook. Successfully deleted address book on BB. Tires to sync but now it fails to do so. I have reinstall 1, battery, 2, SIM card, 3 desktop program. The synch starts - to be certain- I even go so far as the option to approve the sync or snot. Then it begins to do the syncing and the countdown of addresses yet to by synced clicks downward, as it should, then there's a 'bink' sound, and then nothing, and I check my BB, and no addresses have moved over. I have tried SEVRAL TIMES even 'syncing all' I have arranged for the synch to be for the addresses only. I have arranged for it to be from the computer to the BB. Hopeless. Extremely frustrated.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble syncing all of my contacts from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my new 2015 Chevy Malibu. When I pair the devices it will ask me on my phone if the car has permission to access my contacts and I'll say yes. When I go into the phonebook on the car or try to voice dial by a name it only pulls 10ish contacts from my phone. I've tried re-pairing, turning off wifi and re-pairing, making sure 4g is on and re-pairing to no avail. Again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I added a new gmail email address to my phone but by accident, when prompted told it to synch my contacts with that account. The first thing it did was import all the contacts to my gmail address book, on gmail.com, effectively erasing most of them from the phone. I took it into the t-mobile store and the guy somehow managed to recover about 1/3 of the contacts. So when I took it home, I deleted that email address and just plugged it into my computer and re-synched the contacts from my address book. However, whenever I look in my address book on the blackberry now, at the top of a contact it says "Sychronize using: emailaddress@gmail.com" (Obviously insert the email address I used). But that email address is no longer on my phone, so how is it synched with that? It also I think it is creating problems with synching up my facebook contacts as their pictures no longer show as icons on my phone. It's a minor problem, and seems to be a software issue, but is there any way to completely un-sych my contacts from this deleted email address?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it. None of these measures have changed the problem.Any suggestions?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter several years of easily syncing my BlackBerry Curve 8530 to my Mac, I suddenly can't do it. I get the following error message: The Address Book database cannot be accessed for synchronization. For help resolving this issue, refer to KB19454 in the BlackBerry Desktop Software Knowledge Base.I can't find KB19454 in the database. I can't find a way to call BlackBerry to resolve this. My Sprint store won't touch my Mac (and vice versa).

I liked it but then I started a Telecom company and since we were partnered with Telus and I wanted to get paid a percentage of my bill, I switched over to the Blackberry WORLD PHONE...8830 if I'm not mistaken. I had a lot of issues with that phone and went through 9 of them until I got tired of it and switched back to the solid iPhone.Since then I got a Mac and my address book syncs with my phone. One of the only things stopping me right now from switching to the Blackberry 9900 is a question really.
#1. Can I sync my MAC address book with the Bold 9900?
#2. When I port over my 1650 contacts to my new phone, will all the notes and birthdays go with it..If it can't be done, I guess it's iPhone 5.
Curve 8530 on Verizon Wireless Access to Corporate resources and email via BESI also access Gmail from the deviceRight now I am not synching over the air - that has never worked. I'm using Desktop Manager, and recently downgraded to Version 5.01. When I connect the device and configure for Address Book sync the application starts the process, then craps out without synching. I've rebooted the PC, reloaded the application without success.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't sync my address book with Outlook anymore. It gets to "Reading from Microsoft Outlook Address Book - Record 13 of 111 Records" and then stalls out with an error code - 0x80043ac9. Its the same thing EVERY time, but I think it has to be something in the berry, cause I've tried on 2 computers and no go (exactly the same errors). Any idea's what might be wrong, or what I might be able to do to fix this?
