It was under the setup up folder on my new torch. I followed the on screen instructions to set it up on the phone then it said go to URL...website to use it. It then deleted that app icon from the setup menu.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI cant seem to remove the AT&T Address Book, and after hrs on the phone with AT&T and RIM seems no one knows how to?! I am pretty proficient with tinkering with Blackberry's but I don't see anywhere in the OS a way to revert the contact list to default and remove the AT&T Address Book completely from the phone. This is really screwing up my back ups and contact list and I would appreciate some input from the true BB knowledge base on the web!
Just got the Torch, lovin' it so far, but Im having trouble transferring my address book/other data to it. Blackberry 6 did all the steps, but I still have nothing on my Torch that was on my Bold (i.e. address book, or any other media).

I took it into my carrier today and they hooked it up to the computer and said that I just needed to update the software. This was fine, but by the time I got home my phone had shut off and I cannot get it to turn back on to do the updates.I have been searching these forums for hours and the only solution I can find is to wipe the phone clean and put a new OS on it. I have downloaded a new OS and I have tried several times to put in onto the phone but I can't get it to work. I have opened the application loader, but when it gets to the device application selection screen, there are no options for me to select. I tried to go into my files and choose the OS that I just downloaded but an error pops up (XML syntax error on line1) to be specific.

I tried to go to options then Typing and Input>Keyboard just like Blackberry tells you to and supposedly there is a choice to change the default currency key, but I don't have that option when I go into the keyboard menu. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the Torch (9800) OS version: 6.0.0.668.I've had it for just over a year without problems but recently it will freeze to the point where I have to do a battery pull because it won't resolve the issue otherwise. Even then sometimes it doesn't come back on. It will slowly flash red (LED light) and the screen will remain black.It's done this twice where it won't turn back on at all. Eventually it does but the last time it did this, it didn't work for 2 days before coming back on (of it's own accord). I updated the software when it finally came back on as I was told it could be a software issue so I now have the OS version stated at the top of this message as opposed to 6.0.0.600.
