I'm trying to get Outlook for Mac 2011 calendar on my MacBook running Snow Leopard to show up on my new iPhone. Connected by USB, through iTunes. iTunes says it is syncing calendar, but nothing shows up on the iPhone calendar.
Info: iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Outlook for Mac 2011 14.2.2
I have a new PC and want to sync all my tunes, contacts, calender and notes from my iphone into the new PC.I want to synce the notes and calender with outlook and the contact with windows contacts. Do a need some software to do this?
I upgraded to iTunes 10.6.1 and ios 5.1.1 on my iPhone 3gs and since then I have not been able to sync calendars with my outlook (2007) on my pc.I sync uing the USB cable and not via wi-fi. The sync appears to go through all steps in the process (5 of 5) but does not apply the changes to the iPhone (or to the PC if we try adding one to the iPhone). I have checked the correct default calendar on the iPhone is set as the pc calendar, and have even tried the advanced sync to overwrite all calendar data from PC to phone. But it stil has the original incorrect data on the phone. What else can I do?If I uninstall iTunes, will I lose all my music bought on the iPhone, or can I get this back again?
have an iPhone 3GS and 'upgraded' to iTunes 9.1 yesterday. My PC uses Windows XP running Outlook 2003. Ever since the download I can no longer sync my contacts or calendar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, turned my computer off, reset the Sync history in iTunes and now restored the iPhone - still to no avail. Does anyone have any clues?
I am considering purchasing a BB Tour 9630. I use the Notes field of MS Outlook contacts extensively. Some of my notes per contact are over 10,000 characters in length. My Palm Treo 700p allows me to view/edit these long notes. Can the notes field of the BB contact manager handle this many characters or will it be truncated to a shorter length? I am a small operation not using an Exchange Server. Also, do I need any other device software than what comes with the BB to sync with my PC's local Outlook PST?
Anyone who knows how to set up the X10 mini to synchronize calender, contacts, notes and tasks with outlook? Are not looking for the full integration with email, but a simple integration on a push/pull basis similar to the functionality available on SE PC suite for the older models using the USB cabel
I downloaded the new software for my iPhone 4S, it has stopped syncing my calendar and contacts with my home Outlook. Any new contacts or events I enter into Outlook won't show up on my phone and any new contacts or events I enter in my phone won't show up with Outlook. I use the USB port to sync every few days with my computer. Nothing has been erased, i.e. all my old events and contacts are still there, but nothing new will add. I have not changed any settings on my phone or on itunes, and I even turned off the overall calendar option and selected single calendars to try, but to no avail.
how do I configure itunes to look for my Outlook contacts and calendar? At the moment, when I try to sync, I get the "No supported calendar application can be found" message.
I am trying to sync organizer data with MS Outlook and cannot select either "Contacts" or "Calendar" on the Desktop Software Organizer tab...it says "syncing wirelessly"...
Is there an easy way to sync Outlook contacts and calendar without Exchange? This is the only problem I have encountered with my new Bionic. The calendar synced, but I have lost my categories, etc. The contacts synched, but I seem to have three of everything (???). Is there a way to delete all the contacts on the phone and start over? I find it hard to believe someone has not come up with an App to make a direct USB sync with the PC, given the Extensive use of Outlook...
My Galaxy S5 is set up to synchronize with my Microsoft exchange server. Emails synchronize perfectly and calendar events entered on my Microsoft exchange account synchronize with my Galaxy S5. The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
I have an iPhone 4s and have it configured to sync with my Outlook 2011(14.2.0) running on Lion (10.7.3) . I see all the email, calendar, and contact items getting synched up with the latest changes. However the Notes that I have in outlook are not getting synched up. I tried configuring it to sync with Outlook 2010 running on Win 7 and everything works fine. I have reset the phone and tried to synch it back with 2011 and see the same problem with Notes. Don't see any updates on the iPhone.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, Outlook 2011 (14.2.0) OS X 10.7.3
I've just noticed this behavior. I have several appointments during the day, and they all have alerts on them. They sync to my phone OK, but I noticed that they are removed as they occur. THIS IS NOT THE BEHAVIOR I WANT! I often like to review what transpired a previous week?
Syncing my iPhone to MS Exchange. I see in Outlook 2010 calendars, all the recurring events I have. In particular, I see some birthdays in the current week, but on my iPhone 4s, running IOS 5.1, I only see a couple. More explicitly, there are 2 birthdays on the day that I am writing this question, only one shows on the iPhone. Also, one for tomorrow does not show, nor does an anniversary 2 days after that. There is no obvious reason for some to show and others to not show. Additionally, birthdays do not show up in 'Day' view, only in 'List' and 'Month' view.
I have tried deleting my Exchange account and re-adding it. I have changed all birthdays from 'Private' to 'Normal' confidentiality. I have tried editing events which don't show on the iPhone, in an attempt to make them appear. I can see appointments I create on the iPhone, in Outlook within seconds. I delete a test appointment in Outlook and it will disappear on the iPhone. I found that 'recurring events which are all Day Events' do not show on the iPhone. However, I can search for the event and find it, even though it does not display!
Just upgraded computer to a new 13-inch MBP. Business is moving over to outlook for mail & calendar services. Previously, I synched my iCalendar between my iphone and computer. Now, however, when I put new events into Outlook 2011's calendar, they will not sync up with my iPhone's calendar. I have done everything in iTunes that I can think of, including resetting my calendars in my phone. No luck.
Recently when I synced my BlackBerry with Outlook I found that my All Day Events listed in outlook appeared from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm on my BlackBerry calendar rather at the top like a regular All Day Event. Also my time zone keeps changing from Mountain (-7) to Eniwetok (-12) every time I sync. Does anyone know why this is happening and why my time zone changes every time I sync with Outlook? Also if I try to change the event on my BB to all day event and then sync it with Outlook the event on Outlook goes from All Day Event to 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.
I'm hoping someone can help me here. Is there a way to sync my notes from my iPhone 3GS iOS4 to iTunes so when I get my new iPhone 4 I won't lose them. I don't see an option anywhere.
I had the same Notes on both my iPad and my iPhone. Some made on the iPad and some made on the iPhone. Now adter syncing in iTunes I seem to have lost all my iPad made notes on my iPhone. I still have both sets of Notes on my iPad.Also I added my MobileMe email address to the list of my email addresses I have in Mail on my iMac. My MobileMe emails were then sent to my iMac including all my notes backup both from my iPad and iPhone. So my Notes are not deleted or lost, just none of my iPad notes are now on my iPhone.Read the support BB's are now VERY confused what to do to restore my iPad Notes on my iPhone. On iPhone, I only seem to have: All Notes / On My iPhone / my MobileMe email address While on my iPad, I have: All Notes / From my Mac / my MobileMe email address My iPhone is 3GS. My iPad is a 2, both running the very latest iOS. Sync almost daily, never had this problem Think it occured when I added MobilMe to Mail on my iMac, but don't know for sure!
If you enter a calendar event in the Thunderbolt and identify its duration as "All Day" and also indicate that it reoccurs every year on the same day, when you sync with Outlook the event will span two days in Outlook - the date selected AND the prior day.
In my situation my "Date & Time" Time Zone setting is set for "GMT -04:00, Eastern Daylight Time." But when I view the event in Outlook after a sync, Recurrence shows the following information as an example: Occurs every February 21 effective 2/21/2011 (GMT) Monrovia, Reykjavik.
I think this indicates that something is causing the data to be entered into Outlook under a different time zone and showing it as an "overlap" in my time zone.
If I enter an event as "All Day" but don't have it recur, the sync works just fine.
I'm gonna try and explain this as simply as possible (as it's for my dad, so I'll have to explain it to him the same way)! My dad likes using the native IPhone 3G calendar for keeping his appointments. However, he doesn't use the calendar in Outlook, so when he needs to enter something into the IPhone calendar, he has to do it right on the phone.
What he'd like to do is be able to enter the info into a PC-based calendar via the keyboard (he says it's much faster because of the amount of info he's entering), and then have it sync the info into the IPhone calendar. Again, He does not use outlook calendar. So what I'm basically asking is this is there a PC-based calendar program that he could use that would then allow ITunes to sync his PC-based calendar to his IPhone calendar?
My iphone always used to sync my outlook calendar from my desktop computer to my iphone and ipad whenever I connected the device to the desktop. Something has happened and now no matter what setting I change the outlook calendar will not show on either device.
I recently plugged my iPhone into my laptop to update it, now all of my calendar events/contacts have been removed and replaced with my outlook contacts which I don't actually want. Is there any way to reverse this?
This is my first iphone, been a Nokia guy for a long time I'm trying to back up my iphone contacts and calendar using mobileme. I see all my contacts but none of my calendar items in the mobileme calendar.
-iphone4 newest iOS -subscribed to mobileme -have windows xp, outlook 2003
My iPhone 4 has been syncing my Outlook Calender perfectly until today. Now it wont sync in either direction and I cannot even force a sync from my computer to the phone. THis seems completely random as i can so no changes in my iTunes or iPhone configuration.
Everything was working perfectly until about 2 weeks ago (the last time a Calendar event synced). Not sure if there was an iTunes update around this time? Now my iPhone looks as if it's syncing through iTunes, but afterwards Contacts/ Notes are updated, but not Calendar....I've checked all the default calendar settings, rebooted both, done 'detect & repair' on Outlook.... no use. This is a nightmare as I keep all the information about my meetings (addresses, phone numbers etc) in my calendar for when I'm out and about - I NEED to fix this asap?
