syncing a droid X to my outlook contacts via USB cable. I cannot sync over the air.
HTC offers a program that will allow this. Do any of you know if there is a third party/motorola app that will allow this?
I have accumulated over 1400 contacts in Outlook over the last 10 years. So, when I purchased my Droid 2 last year, there was no problem importing them into the phone with the exchange server. But, when the number increased above 1500, I noticed that the phone only accommodates 1487. note that I don't import contacts from other sources like Google or a social networking site.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new RAZR XT910 and I'm starting to get a really uneasy feeling that I'm not going to be able to sync it with my Outlook calendaring and scheduling like I used to do with my old Nokia E63.
I was working under the assumption that there would be hundreds of apps on the new Android phones that would be able to do simple things like this? so far I haven't really found anything?
I found Motorola PC Suite 5.1 but I haven't downloaded and tried it yet ... has anyone used this software or can anyone advise some other application that will sync Calendering, scheduling, contacts etc with Outlook and with Lotus Notes?
I need to sync outlook for work , but I'd also like to sync with Lotus Notes at home if possible (far superior to Outlook)
By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
what print app do you use? can all my contacts from outlook- be copy to gmail account? how do you delete downloads?

I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?

So im back on the Android Band Wagon(should have never left) was on Windows 8.1 phone. question is all my contacts were on the windows phone i think on outlook cloud. Is there a way to sync Google contacts with Outlook contacts and have facebook pictures also all combined into the phone app or main contacts screen, seems some of my contacts are missing or im doing somithing wrong.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi cant seem to sync my fb contacts.i entered my fb email/pass into the accounts appit said it was ok, but no contacts show up in my contacts nor do any show up in my gallery app. i tried re-entering the info, removing the acct, adding it again, rebooting my phone etc. now, it looks like there is a tiny bit of progress.. i can see "me" but that's it. in the contacts app, if i only select to display fb contacts, it just shows me and not body else. in the gallery app, if i hit menu and then hit "friends" again, it only shows me. why is this not pulling in any contacts/friends?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just spent two hours on the phone. First with Verizon, and then Motorola (I was disconnected from the rep at Motorola who did not call me back).This is the issue. When I got the Bionic I used a program called MyBackUpPro to put much of the stuff I had from my Original Droid onto the Bionic. I was up and running and very happy.Since the 8th when I got the phone everything sync's just find EXCEPT contacts. When I try to uncheck and check the box to sync contacts it give the error "Sync is currently experiencing problems, it will be back shortly.". I have tried to sync contacts over 30 times since then and that's the only message I get.My next step was to try to use Backup Assistant, however according to Verizon they are having problems with it.So they transfered me to Motorola, and I spoke to two reps there who took me through the same steps as Verizon... I did them for the second time and of course no go.I suggested to THEM that maybe I can import the contacts from outlook by saving them to a CSV file, putting it on the SD card then using your contacts program to import them. I attempted to do this and it can never find the file.I put the file both in the SD card AND the SD-ext card just in case.When choose import from SIM card it says there are no contacts on my SIM card.

Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. I have a DroidX version 2.2.1 and I use Corporate email. When I type in a new Calendar event into the phone it sync's to Google fine but it does not sync to my Corp Calendar. The same happens for Contacts. Here's what I've found:
1) Phone to Google works
2) Phone to Corp does not work
3) Corp to Phone works
4) Corp to Google does not work
When I first setup the phone, I setup Corp email and Gmail and the sync worked well. Some time later I removed my Corp email account from the phone only to re-add it a couple weeks later. Since then, the sync does not work the way it once did. I have set the phone so that my Corp account is the default account. I receive email on the phone with no issues. I want my Corp Calendar/Contacts to match my phone no matter whether I enter them from the phone, Google or my Corp Desktop.

I am running iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit iTunes 10.6.1.7 Microsoft Outlook Professional Plus 2010 32-bit My Outlook calendar syncs just fine.
Also, I could not sync my contacts with Google either. Neither Outlook nor Google works. I have reinstalled iTunes and followed all of the directions found on this forum to no avail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7. When I input a contact into Outlook (Exchange), it syncs and shows up in my phone. But when I input a contact into the phone, it doesn't export to Outlook. I've confirmed that my exchange account is the default on Mail/Contacts/Calendars. I enter a lot of business contacts off of incoming phone calls and don't want to be limited to creating them on my laptop!
