Motorola Droid Bionic :: Can't Sync Calendar To Outlook
Dec 26, 2012As of Dec. 14, Google discontinued support of the sync between the mobile and Outlook. They said that you could still use it but it doesn't work. I have both Comcast and Outlook. I got Outlook so I could sync with Google on the Droid. Is there any EASY way to get a calendar on the Droid that will sync with Outlook or Comcast?

Mar 23, 2010I used to be able to sync my calendar from outlook to my Bold no problem. Now, the sync routine within the Blackberry Desktop application just skips calendar sync completely, nothing in the log file, just gives a little beep. Tasks, contacts, memo all sync fine. I have updated all device SW (5.0.0) and desktop versions. I have done hard resets, combined all calendars to one, etc.

Apr 28, 2010Using Outlook as POP but have been syncing calendar to blackberry 8830 device for some time now with no issues. Yesterday all Outlook calendar entries disappeared but entries are still on the blackberry. Reset synchronization and seems to update Outlook with any new ones and also update blackberry with any new calendar entries made in Outlook but none of original entries that are on BB will go to Outlook. Is there a way to export from the BB and import into Outlook. We have tried multiple things like one-way sync, device wins, etc. Don't want to lose entries on BB since there are tons. Just need to get them to Outlook. Any help is appreciated.

Jun 25, 2011I just got a Defy w/Motorblur...coming from a Blackberry. How do I get the calendar to sync with my PC Outlook calendar? I tried the Google Sync but it didn't work. The phone says "can't use the calendar until you sync it..." Can't sync it, so therefore calendar is useless. My BB calendar was my lifeline to my appointments. I need to get that back!

Jul 23, 2010I was told by a tele help agent at AT&T that Blackberry Desktop sync software was not able to be used if you are using Windows 7. I find this hard to believe but would really like to quit wasting time finding an answer if Blackberry does not support the new OS.I am also using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Premium and cannot get the Blackberry Desktop to sync with Outlook 2010 during set-up.I can't believe Blackberry didn't know a new Outlook was coming out and syncing would be one of those key tasks.

Apr 10, 2010With my wife, we got 2 BB Curve 8520 and we're now trying to sync both of them with our Outlook 2003 SP3 on XP SP3. Both do the same thing:
1/ First sync goes well, the BB calendar gets filled up,
2/ Everything syncs well during a few days,
3/ One day, the sync tells us it will delete 3000+ elements on Outlook, of course I click Reject and cancel the sync,
4/ I restart OK by synching one-dir from Outlook tp BB,
5/ A few days after, it returns to step 3 and is behaving bad again.
I can't get any durable solution, the only thing I got is a workaround that lasts only a few days.
Our BB version (mine/my wife's) :
- Platform : 4.2.0.118 / 4.2.0.135
- Application : 4.6.1.274 / 4.6.1.314

Feb 23, 2010Samsung SGH-t749 using New PC Studio ver. 1.2.0 IEC. When I try to sync Outlook Calendar with the phone calendar it runs out of memory. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?

Apr 25, 2010Having just replaced my Treo with a Blackberry Tour, I'm new to both the Blackberry and this forum. If I'm posting to the wrong forum, or if my question has been answered before, please point me in the right direction.
One of the first things I did was to get my Treo calendar into Outlook, then get the BB to sync to Outlook. Everything was working fine.
Then I added an email account @vzw.blackberry.net. A few days later when I tried to sync to Outlook, a whole bunch of my calendar appointments get deleted from Outlook. Even when I set up syncing to replace all data in Outlook, I ended up with appointments in my BB that weren't in Outlook. When I looked at the appointment details, the top line had a "Synchronize to" entry. The appointments that got backed up specified Synchronize to Default, the ones that didn't get backed up said Synchronize to vzw.blackberry.net. If there was a way to change the "Synchronize to" target, I didn't find it.
So I deleted the email account from my BB. I synchronized again, and everything worked fine. The appointment details no longer displayed a "Synchronize to" entry.

Feb 2, 2010I have a Pearl 8120 and Outlook 2007. I have been synching between the 2 for about 1 1/2 years without a problem. Today, with no settings changed, I synched and now my phone still has all the calendar appointments, but all but 40 appointments in the Outlook have vanished...those left are in the current month. But also ALL my recurring appointments, even in the current month are gone from Outlook. This has wiped out my history in Outlook completely. Now no matter how I set up the synch parameters, I cannot get the device to send all the appointments back to Outlook. I have updated the device and the desktop software.

Dec 3, 2012The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display
- Conference calling
- Date & Time
- Accounts:
*email account1
*email account2
*email account3
#Appointment color
#display reminder
#number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.

Motorola Droid X2 :: Corporate Sync Calendar?
Jun 9, 2011did a factory reset on my phone to try and fix other problems. I setup my Corporate Sync account and it is getting emails from the exchange server but it is not syncing my calendar. Also when I go into the Blur "My Accounts" and select "Corporate Sync" there is no username listed just ****** for password and no way to turn on calendar sync. Also, if I hit the OK button I get an error that the username must not be blank. This is very tuff to correct since the username field is disabled and I am also unable to delete the account to set it up again. Really wish Blur was an option on this phone until they had these bugs fixed! I can from a Droid 1 with vanilla Android it wasn't pretty but I will take functioning over looks EVERY time.
