Contacts Only Sync One Way Between IPhone 5 And Outlook
Jun 26, 2014
I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7. When I input a contact into Outlook (Exchange), it syncs and shows up in my phone. But when I input a contact into the phone, it doesn't export to Outlook. I've confirmed that my exchange account is the default on Mail/Contacts/Calendars. I enter a lot of business contacts off of incoming phone calls and don't want to be limited to creating them on my laptop!
I have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?
I cannot sync my contacts with Outlook. iTunes says that it has synced contacts, but it has not. My Outlook contacts do not change to match my iPhone contacts and vice versa.
I am running iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit iTunes 10.6.1.7 Microsoft Outlook Professional Plus 2010 32-bit My Outlook calendar syncs just fine.
Also, I could not sync my contacts with Google either. Neither Outlook nor Google works. I have reinstalled iTunes and followed all of the directions found on this forum to no avail.
I inadvertently changed something and my iPhone will not sync with my Outlook for Mac Contacts, but now defaults to my Mac Address book (which I don't use!)Can someone tell me how to steer the sync for my iPhone back to Outlook Contacts?
Contacts doesn't appear among videos, music and tv shows under device and when I request sync, itunes doesn't sync my contacts or internet preferences from my notebook.
How can I get my iPhone 4G to sync the contacts in my Outlook 2010 (and vise versa) which is installed on my HP with Windows 7 64 Bit Operating System?Â
I have my contacts stored in Outlook (sorted by last name). When I sync to my Iphone, the contacts are sorted by first name. I have checked the Settings and show and file are checked as Last, First. What can I do to change this sort?
Trying to Sync via PC patch cable the BB Address Book (Contacts) with MS Outlook Contacts.Set-up failing apparently because wireless data sync with the Bold is turned ON. Can't locate referenced setting on the device to turn OFF.
I have recently change my boss's phone over from a iphone 3 to a 4.He is not techno savvy and has never used itunes before so i set his phone up on my computer and created an itunes account for him and have transfered across all his contacts from his old phone to itunes and the new phone. But he has a separate list of outlook contacts on hs computer that I now need to add. What is the best way for this?
I have a new PC and want to sync all my tunes, contacts, calender and notes from my iphone into the new PC.I want to synce the notes and calender with outlook and the contact with windows contacts. Do a need some software to do this?
I just switched from a PC to Mac Air and downloaded BB Desktop to my Mac so that I can sync contacts, calendar etc. What happens is that it automatically syncs to Apple and not to Outlook and there is nowhere I can change the settings. I lost all my info on the BB so had to sync with my old PC again..
I'm on BDS and need to sync my contacts with outlook. I know that I need to disable 'wireless synchronization'. look at the option under either - calendar, task or memo. Strangely I can't find it in any of those.
BB Bold 9700 TMobile V5.0.0.586 (Platform 5.1.0.146 Free Space 115.8Mb I use Windows vista and outlook 7. My BBDTM is version 5.0.1.37. Every time I try to synchronize, I get the error message: During synchronization, some the records were invalid. The following 2 records were skipped: Address Book: Device - 0, Microsoft Outlook - 2 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more detail? The sync stops and does not sync all my contact info to my Blackberry.
I am trying to sync my Bold 9700 with outlook contacts. I have been able to sync the calender and memo pad BUT only 71 of my 345 contacts. It stops at 71 with a big red cross and gives me an error message 0x80040f63. My previous Blackberry sync was fine and I have downloaded version 5 of Blackberry Manager so it seems all up to date
I am having a lot of trouble with my address book and keeping my contacts. I cannot sync with desktop manager because says address book not installed. I also cannot restore from desktop mananger or blackberry protect (only interested in address book). I keep this thing updated and backed up in three seperate places just because I can, but now this does not even help. I have read several post with different options about rebooting, downgrading to earlier os version and nothing has helped. When I do a hard boot I get a java null error. I even took it back to the service provider and they wiped the phone (I had already done the same) and still nothing other than I have to start all over with reinstalling 3rd party app ( poynt and xobni) this all I have added back to my phone.

I am the proud owner of a X10. When I first used ericsson sync everything worked as described, no problems and all my contacts were transferred from Outlook to X10. However, I now try to sync again from outlook to X10 and the extra contacts refuse to be transferred, either on the phone or on the website
