Maybe I just noticed this, by my calendar won't show contacts birthdays. I've double checked that I'm syncing everything correctly. I've tried clearing Calendar data and Calendar Storage data, still no luck.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackberry Torch 9800 with 2 main email addresses (both gmails) being sync to it wirelessly. I created a contact from my phone (in gmail account 1) and keyed in the fields of the contacts including the birthdays. However, when I checked my calendars, the birthday entries were created under my gmail account 2 rather than my gmail account 1 which is supposed to be the case. I would like to keep my entries on gmail account 1 private as I use the other account for work purposes which is shared to a group of people.

My husband's Droid Turbo: For some reason, he is forced to enter a year and that messes with the Birthdays Calendar on his google account. Birthdays entered on his contacts do not display ever year on his calendar.
Question: How do we remove the year requirement and get his screen to look like mine?
I saw a few sync issues with third party softwares doing a search, but could not find my issue.I don't sync my mobile with any third-party software such as Microsoft Exchange or anything.
But I entered birthdays an anniversaries in the contacts.For instance, I create a new contact, his name's Bob.
"Add detail" ; birthday, say 09/07/1990.
On my oooold Nokia 3200, tomorrow, I would have a reminder in the calendar (it would even say Bob's 20, but I saw in my search that this was no longer available)
On my E71, nothing. If I entered a birthdate in the contact, maybe it means I suck at remembering the dates.If I used a downloaded App on the Ovi store, I would understand, maybe DLed apps don't have access to the contact data. But here I use the Nokia Calendar, and the Nokia contacts.Is it just me? Did I forgot to set something? Am I asking to much? (Come on, a 3200 could...)
I have just bought a new blackberry curve and transferred my contacts from a Sony Ericsson. Their birthday information was transferred too but this hasn't sync to my calendar or I cannot set reminders in the contacts folder.Is there a way to sort this out or an app that actually works?
View 7 Replies View RelatedAll the birthdays in my gmail contacts were originally working fine on my Atrix.However since the update they do not sync properly. If I add a new contact the birthday doesn't show and if I change the birthday of an existing contact the birthday disappears on the Atrix. They dates show on the contact information but do not appear on the calendar.In addition, if I change or enter a birthday for a contact using the phone it always changes the entry to the previous day after I hit the SAVE button. For example, change a contact's birthday to April 1 and after saving it shows March 31 (which is what gets synced back to google). It doesn't show up on the calender under either date however.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWell the last week or so I have noticed that my email account is not syncing with my Razr Maxx HD - It is an outlook account - it also does the same thing with my Yahoo account as well I tried looking in settings for sync frequency but there is not option to set - I know on previouse phones there has been option for it but not this one.. Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.

I went the phone and saw that the calendar was "phone" calendar not the corporate calendar. There was no way to edit the phone calendar on the page to choose which calendar to place the new event, like I could on my OG Droid.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy corporate account (Exchange/Activesync server) hasn't synced since the update was installed Saturday, June 30th. It was syncing fine pre-ICS, however, post-ICS nothing. The screenshot reflects the message I receive when attempting to set up the account on the phone.
In troubleshooting, I have tried removing the account (only initially following the upgrade, account will not complete set up since) and adding it again.
Also, all other email accounts (gmail, earthlink, hotmail, yahoo) are connecting fine, only having problems with the Corporate account. Additionally, I need this to work more for the calendar sync than the email, especially since I separate my work/personal calendars via this account, Google, and personal version of Outlook.

The coporate email is one of the main functions that I use my phone for, so its very important that it works correctly. I have tried it off WIFI and on WIFI with the same issues. It just periodically loses connection with the server and gives error message that says "Couldn't find connection to server". Like I said, this may last for only couple of hours or most of the day and then it just starts working again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was surprised to find that the Droid Razr HD does not have a Tasks To Do or Notes app that corresponds to the Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for reliable Apps for the phone that will sync with Outlook on my PC. I do not want to leave my private information in a cloud where some 14-year-old hacker can get at it. I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Any advice on apps that do those chores and sync directly to the PC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

When I enter a new appointment in Outlook it syncs to the phone immediately, but when I enter a new appointment on the phone, it is not syncing back to Outlook. Why? When I go into Calendar Settings -> Merge Calendars, it says both my gmail calendar and Outlook calendar are "synced and visible". Under phone calendar it says "not synced, visible", and I cannot change it to "synced". Why? How to change it?

When i tap on my account and enter my username/password, I'm brought back to the list of accounts, and I can't sync either my contacts or my calendar with my phone.
I used to be able to do this on my Galaxy S and could do it for a minute on the Razr. Does anyone know what happened, and if I can re-establish the sync? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook, but it didn't do anything.
I have posted appointments in the calendar on my Droid Razr.However, I can no longer view the appointments posted.I still get reminder notices for those appointments , but when I go to the calendar itself, the calendar is blank.I went to calendar settings and it shows no default calendars.In fact, I have no calendars listed.I recall that there use to be 2 calendars listed..) my gmail account calendar and 2) the "Phone Calendar".The appointments I posted were all scheduled in the "Phone Calendar".I also went under settings>accounts to make sure the accounts were listed and it shows my gmail account listed.I never posted any appointments using my gmail account...only the "Phone Calendar".The Phone Back-Up Assistant shows that everything was synced and backed up successfully.How do I pull up/view the appointments stored under "Phone Calendar" in the calendar app?
