I keep getting an error that says "Unfortunately, Calendar Storage stopped working" or something like that. I have taken off calendars and added them one by one and it keeps doing it.
View 10 RepliesI am not sure if Moto is aware of the bug introduced in .173. Ever since the OTA a few months back the orientation/rotation sensor randomly stops working. I haven't been able to track it down to any particular app, but instead have a feeling that it's caused by any app that forces a horizontal orientation. I don't want to limit it to just that though, but basically after this bug is triggered, tilting the phone manually into horizontal orientation doesn't rotate the screen and any games/apps that use the tilt sensor stop responding to it completely. I launched Elixir tools while this issue was occurring and in the Sensor section of the app the two sensors that deal with orientation, the orientation and the rotation vector sensors are jumping all over the place. A reboot fixes this for a few days or possibly until i launch an app that triggers this bug and then it's the same thing all over again.

The screen still shows that the call is connected, however, the caller and I are not able to hear each other. If I hang up and call them back, the phone works fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI dont get when we're told about an upgrade, that you find it acceptable to TAKE AWAY features? i have been choosing Android over Apple for years for things such as USB Mass Storage mode. I know people who plug their phones in USB to their car CD Players and use it as if it were a flash drive. Now those users who may just have purchased a new phone are now screwed. You add features for upgrades not remove them. I am shocked and truthfully appualed to see where this new type of developer planning can lead to. Next were going to get pushed onto the cloud. If I'm going to remain an Android enthusiast and recommend Android to others you will not take away the things that brought me to Android! I could seriously put my Env touch before ever getting the FIRST OG Droid in Mass Storage Mode.This is not being posted to ruffle the feathers of users on this forum. This is intended as a wake up call to the developers to realize it was us phone enthusiasts that started this smart phone revolution anyways. We ousted Blackberry when they started acting like a bunch of tools. Don't do the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Droid RAZR with ICS. At times I will receive an email with a timestamp sometime in the future (usually a SPAM message). This prevents new emails from downloading into the email program until after the date and time of that last email. If I delete the email with the incorrect timestamp other meails will immediately download onto the phone.I have looked at the header for this email in Outlook on my PC, and it appears that the email program on the phone is using the timestamp fro the sending computer system, not the one from the local timezone. Does anyone know a way around this issue?

There is a lot, like A LOT of informations and files that I need, I've alrady tried to connect via the HDMI CABLE, but nothing. It's connected to the computer and I can't access the files, because it says to "insert a disk into the driver". This feature is very important to me as a Linux user. This feature was present when I purchased the phone and Android 4.0.4 (ICS). The Motorola help pages also make reference to the Mass Storage option for USB connections.

I have the phone connected to Windows (XP) and I can't disconnect it as a mass storage device from the phone.. I pull the drop-down down and tap "Connected as mass storage" and then try to uncheck Mass Storage... and nothing happens. Wonderful. I guess I have to disconnect through Windows or just rip the cable out of the computer; now I feel safer.

Does the razr have it partitioned so you can only use 2 gigs of internal space max for apps? If it does then I will pass on the Razr.

I use it frequently and it doesn't always automatically pick up the number+meeting code from the appointment but is generally pretty good. So the last few call it wasn't working and I decided to try and add it manually but can't enter it. Is this a feature that isn't included in the Motorola software or was it removed from JB?

View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I'm currently unable to sync my facebook events to my phone calendar. In the Settings>Accounts, my facebook account is listed. When i tap on my account and enter my username/password, I'm brought back to the list of accounts, and I can't sync either my contacts or my calendar with my phone.
I used to be able to do this on my Galaxy S and could do it for a minute on the Razr. Does anyone know what happened, and if I can re-establish the sync? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook, but it didn't do anything.
Maybe I just noticed this, by my calendar won't show contacts birthdays. I've double checked that I'm syncing everything correctly. I've tried clearing Calendar data and Calendar Storage data, still no luck.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have posted appointments in the calendar on my Droid Razr.However, I can no longer view the appointments posted.I still get reminder notices for those appointments , but when I go to the calendar itself, the calendar is blank.I went to calendar settings and it shows no default calendars.In fact, I have no calendars listed.I recall that there use to be 2 calendars listed..) my gmail account calendar and 2) the "Phone Calendar".The appointments I posted were all scheduled in the "Phone Calendar".I also went under settings>accounts to make sure the accounts were listed and it shows my gmail account listed.I never posted any appointments using my gmail account...only the "Phone Calendar".The Phone Back-Up Assistant shows that everything was synced and backed up successfully.How do I pull up/view the appointments stored under "Phone Calendar" in the calendar app?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Razr got upgraded to ICS this morning. Now I have no ringer. Yes silent mode is off and volume is turned all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.
