Apr 30, 2011My motorola calendar widget will not sync with my contacts birthday and events it says its synchronized and its suppose to be visible but its NOT!

Motorola Atrix 4G :: My Calendar Widget Disappeared
Jun 15, 2011This weekend I noticed that my calendar widget was falling a day behind. I deleted it from my homescreen and then tried to add it back. It brings up the configuration screen, but it refuses to add it to my homescreen, even if I try it on an entirely blank homescreen. I use launcherpro, but it hasn't had a recent update, and I have never had an issue before. I have tried restarting to no avail.

May 9, 2011Since the upgrade to ver. 4.1.83, the calendar widget on the home screen just shows 31 and says calendar. It used to sync w/ google calendar and show the current date and upcoming scheduled events. Is it just me or is this a general issue which get addressed in a future update?

In the settings I have asked it to show Facebook and google calendar events. However, the calendar refuses to sync and show events. It's squeaky clean how do I get the calendar to show Facebook events and birthdays?

Feb 9, 2012After updating to Bella N8 has synchronized with Outlook via Nokia Suite. The Calendar shows all the dates. I have two calendars. The first calendar comes with Mail For Exchange, the second from Outlook (synchronization with the Nokia Suite). Calendar Widget only shows events from the Exchange account, and newly added to the second calendar. It does not matter whether the added element: task, meeting. I can only see those that will add to the phone. Synchronized with Outlook do not appear.

Apr 19, 2011All the birthdays in my gmail contacts were originally working fine on my Atrix.However since the update they do not sync properly. If I add a new contact the birthday doesn't show and if I change the birthday of an existing contact the birthday disappears on the Atrix. They dates show on the contact information but do not appear on the calendar.In addition, if I change or enter a birthday for a contact using the phone it always changes the entry to the previous day after I hit the SAVE button. For example, change a contact's birthday to April 1 and after saving it shows March 31 (which is what gets synced back to google). It doesn't show up on the calender under either date however.

Jul 25, 2011Is there any way to add contacts' birthdays and anniversarys in Gingerbread? In Froyo I could edit the contact and they had a field for this near the bottom of the contact info. Now all I see are generic "notes" and "nickname" fields. While viewing the contact, it still has all the birthday information I put in while on Froyo. I know I can edit this information in Gmail, but it's much more convenient to add it in through the phone's contacts

Aug 18, 2011The owner's guide says to tap the widget until vibration, then drag corner to new size. All that happens for me is that the calendar wants to move to a new position. On one attempt, the widget went into the trash. When I re-installed the widget, it came back in half its previous size (now 2x2 where it was 4x2). I cannot resize this widget either.

I have re-entered the information several times, restarted the device several times, and all my data delivery options have been clicked or unclicked during several trials. The apps accompanying widgets only option is to "add a social network" not unlike the first screencap.

But for some reason, i've removed the news widget, and now, when i create the news widget again, i can't subscipt to the RSS feed. i've tried inputing the website to custom feed, and also from the browser, click on the RSS icon and add to news widget.i just have the loading wheel spinning for a long time. I can tap the back button and it will shows up, but no news feed.And i was trying to add some RSS feed from kotaku.com, and i received an error message. Now i've lost the tip and tricks subscription and digg feed. And i can't add any feed at the moment.

I see there is a new message on the widget and when I click it all the panels are Loading with blank info, when I go back and it says there are no recent unseen updates and I click on it and see all updates I can see all of them however any pictures will not load as well.everything is else is working good. Jul 26, 2011I have the Social network widget on one of my home pages (post 2.3.4 upgrade). At first, it worked fine, but as of this morning, it force closes evertime I open it and attempt to scroll the messages. The "Messages" Widget continues to work fine.
I've tried removing and re-installing accounts, removing and re-installing the widget, and changing widget settings. I even tried to go to Settings>applications>manage applications to try and clear the data and cache, but thos buttone are not enables for the Social networing app.
Motorola Atrix 2 :: Green LED Flashing And (World Clock Widget)
Feb 26, 2012I found a weird bug and wanted to report it. If you attemt to add the World Clock widget on the home screen it will cause the LED light to flash green continuously when the display goes to sleep. Deleting the widget off screen doesn't make it go away and to make things worse, when rebooting the Atrix 2 the LED flashing comes back because once you apply this clock it will forever run in the background every time phone boots. You have to do a master reset to make this nightmare go away. Update: It appears that what causes this is when for the very first time you apply this widget it scans for your location and if unsuccessful is how this problem starts. Deleting the widget, clearing data and rebooting doesn't fix it. You have no other choice but to master reset the phone. If you were successful then it will function like it should.

Jul 25, 2011I looked through the recent threads to see if this has been covered, but was unable to find anything. I use the standard dock at work a lot; mainly for charging the device and listening to music. After the GB update, I noticed that the little widget for playing/pausing/FFD music is gone.
Any ideas as to why, and is there a fix for this? Anything in the market to d/l for a quick Play/Pause function witout having to exit from the dock software?
I'm running stock software, with no mods on the phone. Also, I am not talking about the "Play All" app launcher which moves you to the Music app and proceeds to shut the screen off at the regular screen time-out interval. This was a widget working within the Widget Clock dock software upon docking the phone in the standard dock.

Mar 16, 2012When I put my Atrix in my HD dock and the dock is powered on, the Atrix automatically brings up the widget clock in landscape. When the dock is powered off, nothing happens (screen stays off). Is there a way to start the widget clock mode manually -- I do not want to leave the Atrix charging all the time. I notice that there is an app to start the car dock view. Is there one to start the landscape clock widget? The Atrix is up to date running 2.3.4.

Aug 16, 2011It seems that the messaging widget rarely/randomly displays new text messages. This is after updating to build 4.5.91 through the SOAK testing. Is anybody else having these issues? It shows my corporate sync messages immediately and with no issues, but the SMS usually lag behind by a few minutes or never display in the widget at all.
