was using smooth calendar with 3.0. Switched to the default calendar widget after 3.1 arrived to allow resizing of widgets. widget syncs the calendars okay but the date at the top of the widget never changes, stays on the install date. calendar app works fine, widget is static.stock, non rooted 3.1

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have been having a problem where the email widget is not updating except when I reboot. the email is working and syncing but the widget itself is not showing the new mail. The gmail one is working fine. Also the calender widget does not change dates until reboot. If all else fails Reset I guess but I am trying to avoid that. I have a Canadian Xoom running Android 3.2 no Root.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter cleaning up my download folder I notice that when I try to tap a email on the gmail widget the screen turns dark and just sits there. It will no longer open gmail and let me read the mail but if I open gmail using the app it works fine. I have also notice this with some of the downloads within the email app but not through the gallery.

Shutting down or restarting the phone won't help, when i select subscriptions which i didn't use it still won't go past februari 12, 10:00 am. Twitter and weather widgets and such still work

View 3 Replies View RelatedRunning ICS on Xoom Wifi. When creating a photo gallery widget, and selecting a single image, then go to crop, it seems to freeze the tablet on Saving Picture... prompt. Touching the controls icons won't do anything, just blank screen.I have to wait for a few, then the launcher freeze popup saying wait/report/stop. When creating photo gallery widget from album or shuffle, it works. It just doesn't work with single image. I think this is a bug, repeatable with any images.if I have space left, it says 28.11 GB free.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe owner's guide says to tap the widget until vibration, then drag corner to new size. All that happens for me is that the calendar wants to move to a new position. On one attempt, the widget went into the trash. When I re-installed the widget, it came back in half its previous size (now 2x2 where it was 4x2). I cannot resize this widget either.

It brings up the configuration screen, but it refuses to add it to my homescreen, even if I try it on an entirely blank homescreen. I have tried rebooting, doesn't help.I sync my calendar with outlook through google. There are some semi-advanced entries there, ie meetings with replies. However, problem persists when I disable that calendar from my outlook.Calendar data is accessible for my agenda widget. Data shown on the widget is even updated when I add data to my google calendar.

After several successful app downloads, installs and activations, I find that when I download an app, it gets downloaded and installed, but no widget appears, so I'm unable to activate/use it. Noticed.. when the screen is on, the clock doesnt update?
For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.
Lock/unlock and time updates.
My Xoom post upgrade to 4G is now assigning the IP address of 192.168.20.1 to the device usb1 everytime it is rebooted. This apparently hardwired configuration conflicts with my homenetwork's default gateway.Is there anyway to change this with out rooting the device? I would rather not have to re-IP my home network or not be able to connect to any network via Wifi who uses that IP address as a default gateway.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? I do not get the option to accept the meeting invite to my calendar, specifically Yes, No, Maybe. Is there anything I can do to get this functionality back in the mail client for the D3?
Second if I download the .ICS file that accompanies the meeting invite, and try to apply it to my calendar, it defaults to the phone's calendar rather than my Google calendar. Is there anyway to change this so that the Google calendar is always the default?
There seems to be a bug with the GB [blur] messaging widget. On froyo, when a text showed on the widget you can send a reply easly.
