I prefer to see the agenda view of my calendar on my Droid X.However, it keeps on going back to the day view when I return to the calendar.It used to show the month view when I went on my calendar and I don't know how or why it changed to the day view.Also, if I put a new event on my calendar on my phone, when I save it, the phone returns to my calendar at two months earlier.

I want to delete the original Gmail acct that the tech set up and use my regular gmail account without doing a factory reset to defaults.When I bought my Motorola Atrix at Costco in April 2011 the tech deleted all my phone contacts, data, and photos when trying to transfer to the Atrix. Then he set up a new required Gmail account for the Atrix and gave us the wrong password and security answer which I can not recover despite numerous tries with Google.I have another Gmail account with a good password and it is also on my Atrix. I can access both Gmail accounts on the Atrix because the unknown password is stored somewhere on teh phone. I cannot access my account settings to determine the correct password for the Gmail account I want to delete.What I'm really trying to do is somehow link my Atrix phone number to my regular Gmail and Motoblur acconts so I can use the Android Market from my PC and other functions. I cannot find anything on my regular Gmail account that allows me to link my Atrix phone with that account. It appears the phone is linked to the original Gmail acct the Costco tech set up and that I cannot acccess any settings on. The only settings (from both Gmail accts) I can access are the general ones that control notifications, rings, and messages.
My solution was to delete the account that I don't have a password for and then I would then a way to add my Atrix to my regular Gmail acct as the new Atrix acct or visa-versa. I will keep it screwed up if the only option is to reset to facotry defaults and lose everything. In a related question is there a way to transfer all my Atrix data to the micro SD card and then take it out and then reset?
When I receive a meeting invite via my Google mail client on my D3 it comes in formatted differently than my Google mail client on my laptop. I do not get the option to accept the meeting invite to my calendar, specifically Yes, No, Maybe. Is there anything I can do to get this functionality back in the mail client for the D3?
Second if I download the .ICS file that accompanies the meeting invite, and try to apply it to my calendar, it defaults to the phone's calendar rather than my Google calendar. Is there anyway to change this so that the Google calendar is always the default?
I've read that you should accept corporate sync invites in your calendar view. However, when I hold down a tentative request the only options that appear are view event, delete event, or new event. Please help. I need to accept events from my calendar.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have posted appointments in the calendar on my Droid Razr.However, I can no longer view the appointments posted.I still get reminder notices for those appointments , but when I go to the calendar itself, the calendar is blank.I went to calendar settings and it shows no default calendars.In fact, I have no calendars listed.I recall that there use to be 2 calendars listed..) my gmail account calendar and 2) the "Phone Calendar".The appointments I posted were all scheduled in the "Phone Calendar".I also went under settings>accounts to make sure the accounts were listed and it shows my gmail account listed.I never posted any appointments using my gmail account...only the "Phone Calendar".The Phone Back-Up Assistant shows that everything was synced and backed up successfully.How do I pull up/view the appointments stored under "Phone Calendar" in the calendar app?

However, while exploring 2.2, I recall seeing a setting that, if the WiFi connection drops, the new setting stops the Bravo from using the 3G. If the Bravo changed over to 3G to maintain the internet connection (apparently the default setting), massive data charges would be incurred. I have tried to re-discover this setting but no success to date. Any way to use / change this "WiFi to 3G" setting?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I had 1 default ring tone. It was an MP3 snippet and it worked on any contact set to default ring tone or to an unrecognized call. No issues.ast week I changed this default ring tone to be a different MP3 snippet.What I am finding is that any contact that is set to 'default ring tone' now plays a Motorola electroni telephone ring sound instead of the new default ring tone.Im looking for a way to correct this globally. What I have done in the mean time is edit a contact, change the ring tone to something else then back to default and it works from that point on.

I like the MultiLing keyboard, but I've had one issue that has come up in only the last couple weeks. How can we change this to another filename mask, like "YYYY_MMDD_hhmmss xxx.jpg" (example: 2011_0801_091612 123.jpg) or any other format of our choosing?In addition, are there any other field masks that we can use beyond the YYY, MM and DD and time fields?

The incoming text appears in the notification field at the top of the home screen from the correct sender, but when we open the text, the sender contact has been randomly switched to another person in our contact list. This is happening quite frequently and is resulting in texts going to very random people. Occasionally when composing a text, the chosen recipient will randomly change when we press the send button.

Also, I moved a message from my sent folder to the inbox and then decided to move it back. Inbox and Trash are the only locations available when I select the message and then select move.
After installing an app called WIFI Analyzer and seeing all the AP's in my neighborhood I wanted my home network in a less congested area of the spectrum. I changed my home network and now I can't see my AP? The only thing I can think of is that the Razr Maxx does not support 5GHz as I see from the product spec page that N networks are supported.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book.When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
Anyone know the "secret" to opening up a .jpg attachment in K-9. I've selected the option in settings to "always show images."

Well, I like my calendar to appear on my today screen but not just the default calendar entries, I want to truly capture my day on the today screen. View 8 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I take pictures and/or videos with my phone, I can't see the picture or video on my phone. I take a photo. The phone acts like it took a photo. I see a thumbnail initially. When I try to view it again, there is just an icon and the photo is gone. It will say it isn't viewable or a video isn't playable. Can't view them if I transfer them to my computer either. I don't understand what the problem is because sometimes it works just fine. I can still see old photos or videos. The formats are exactly the same as the old photos. I didn't change the settings.

I took a bunch of photos on vacation, went to transfer them to my computer via USB cable, and was dismayed to find they came across as "unknown files". They had the correct name and jpg extension, but I couldn't view the photos.This is only true of photos I have taken since encrypting the device. tried disabling the encryption feature, and doing it again, with the same result.What am I doing wrong? How can I view my own files, while still using encryption? Also, where is the encryption feature documentation located?
