After installing an app called WIFI Analyzer and seeing all the AP's in my neighborhood I wanted my home network in a less congested area of the spectrum. I changed my home network and now I can't see my AP? The only thing I can think of is that the Razr Maxx does not support 5GHz as I see from the product spec page that N networks are supported.

It comes up just about every time she does anythign with the phone. She called the provider and did troubleshoot it and they say nothing is wrong with the settings and network. Almost say that it isn't happenning. This has become quite annoying and I've seen it myself. I have same phone and no issues with mine at all .. we purchased at same time and did upgrades at same time as well

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got the Droid RAZR HD MAXX, and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing stuttering on the home screen. Specifically, it happens when swiping to the Quick Settings and Manage Pages screens. After I swipe once to the screen, it seems to be smooth when going back and forth, it's just the initial showing of the screen when I notice it. Then going to different apps and then back to the home screen, I'll see it happen again. It's not a deal breaker, but it just makes the phone seem "slower" than it actually is. Also, the Circles widget seems to look choppy at some points as well, during the weather animation or when flipping the clock.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've tried calling Verizon, but they won't open a ticket because of a known issue with the .173 update, but everytime I enter a extended network area, I quickly lose data connection. It seems like I hear of quite a few people in my area having this problem. Verizon pushed a hybrid PRL to my phone and the PRL version went from 15098 to 13014. Am I going to just have to wait till they actually send someone to fix a local tower or is this something nation wide?

If I turn off broadcasting, I know its still there - I have laptops and an iPhone that still find it an can connect to it. But my new RAZR doesn't seem to know how to locate/connect to it .
What settings do I need to change to get this to work.
No matter whether the clock is set by the network; or it is set manually; the time is 14-15 seconds ahead; and no. setting it manually will not fix the problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething real strange happens when I turn my phone off and on again or if it reboots for any reason.Three (all Android Market apps) of my shortcut icons on the home screen are replaced by a blue generic looking icon. They still work as shortcut though. The way to fix this is to delete them from the home screen and then set up a new shortcut: The app icon shows up as expected.......... until the next time I turn off my Razr. Annoying to say the least.

View 13 Replies View RelatedHave just recently bought a Motorola Razr M which is running stock ICS on Telstra in Australia. I am having constant problems with wifi connections dropping in and out whilst at home. It basically will display very good signal then all of a sudden drop out completely and reconnect. This happens without me moving or changing my hand position, sometimes whilst browsing web or downloading and sometimes whilst not using internet at all. It can happen as often as every few seconds or it may go 5-10 minutes before it starts. No other device I own has these problems, including my Motorola Atrix. I have spent hours changing settings in the modem (2.4g only) but nothing makes ANY difference. This is definitely a phone related problem (bug, hardware etc).

At minimum, I would like a shortcut to the sepecific data file. Example; I use a simple Microsoft word calendar template to do scheduling for the month. I email the file to myself and save it to the messaging folder. Everytime I need to check who is working, etc....I have to go through the "My Files" shortcut, messaging, then the file I need. Would like to just save the data file or a direct link to it on my homescreen very similar to (gulp) windows.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was wanting to know if anyone had an issue with the home screen stopping. I have over 800 apps on my phone and wondered if maybe it was that with the app draw trying to refresh and it taking too long. When I did a search people were having this problem with only having 20 or less added apps to their phone. Some even had this problem after having their phone refreshed. I can run the phone for days and use it with no problem and nothing and then out of the blue there it goes. I click the app drawer and the searching circle goes around and round and then the home screen will close and go to the last app or web page I was on and it could be one from a few days ago. I erase all the previous history and when the home screen closes it just refreshes the home screen. The only thing I can do is reboot and wait about 10 or so minutes and its all good till the next time. The question I am wondering is what is causing this. I had someone comment on links or widgets on the homescreen might be causing it. I removed some and it does not happen as much
