This weekend I noticed that my calendar widget was falling a day behind. I deleted it from my homescreen and then tried to add it back. It brings up the configuration screen, but it refuses to add it to my homescreen, even if I try it on an entirely blank homescreen. I use launcherpro, but it hasn't had a recent update, and I have never had an issue before. I have tried restarting to no avail.
View 1 RepliesSince the upgrade to ver. 4.1.83, the calendar widget on the home screen just shows 31 and says calendar. It used to sync w/ google calendar and show the current date and upcoming scheduled events. Is it just me or is this a general issue which get addressed in a future update?

But when I did that, it actually makes it into a 1x2 with HUGE buttons and a really wide, but short, picture. Is there a way to make the picture larger, and the buttons smaller?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe owner's guide says to tap the widget until vibration, then drag corner to new size. All that happens for me is that the calendar wants to move to a new position. On one attempt, the widget went into the trash. When I re-installed the widget, it came back in half its previous size (now 2x2 where it was 4x2). I cannot resize this widget either.

Finally, If I try to edit my account info the account menu, I see the following two fields, which I cannot edit, which is followed by this message after hitting ok:
I have re-entered the information several times, restarted the device several times, and all my data delivery options have been clicked or unclicked during several trials. The apps accompanying widgets only option is to "add a social network" not unlike the first screencap.
I've subscript with [URL] RSS feed before. But for some reason, i've removed the news widget, and now, when i create the news widget again, i can't subscipt to the RSS feed. i've tried inputing the website to custom feed, and also from the browser, click on the RSS icon and add to news widget.i just have the loading wheel spinning for a long time. I can tap the back button and it will shows up, but no news feed.And i was trying to add some RSS feed from kotaku.com, and i received an error message. Now i've lost the tip and tricks subscription and digg feed. And i can't add any feed at the moment.

It doesn't changed anything else into french though, and as far as I can tell doesn't cause any other issues, it's mostly just annoying. I have already tried rebooting the phone and nothing changed.

I see there is a new message on the widget and when I click it all the panels are Loading with blank info, when I go back and it says there are no recent unseen updates and I click on it and see all updates I can see all of them however any pictures will not load as well.everything is else is working good. I tried factory reset and few other suggestions from around this forum with no luck. the only thing I didn't try yet is a new blur account.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Social network widget on one of my home pages (post 2.3.4 upgrade). At first, it worked fine, but as of this morning, it force closes evertime I open it and attempt to scroll the messages. The "Messages" Widget continues to work fine.
I've tried removing and re-installing accounts, removing and re-installing the widget, and changing widget settings. I even tried to go to Settings>applications>manage applications to try and clear the data and cache, but thos buttone are not enables for the Social networing app.
I found a weird bug and wanted to report it. If you attemt to add the World Clock widget on the home screen it will cause the LED light to flash green continuously when the display goes to sleep. Deleting the widget off screen doesn't make it go away and to make things worse, when rebooting the Atrix 2 the LED flashing comes back because once you apply this clock it will forever run in the background every time phone boots. You have to do a master reset to make this nightmare go away. Update: It appears that what causes this is when for the very first time you apply this widget it scans for your location and if unsuccessful is how this problem starts. Deleting the widget, clearing data and rebooting doesn't fix it. You have no other choice but to master reset the phone. If you were successful then it will function like it should.

The gmail one is working fine. Also the calender widget does not change dates until reboot. If all else fails Reset I guess but I am trying to avoid that. I use the standard dock at work a lot; mainly for charging the device and listening to music. After the GB update, I noticed that the little widget for playing/pausing/FFD music is gone.
Any ideas as to why, and is there a fix for this? Anything in the market to d/l for a quick Play/Pause function witout having to exit from the dock software?
I'm running stock software, with no mods on the phone. Also, I am not talking about the "Play All" app launcher which moves you to the Music app and proceeds to shut the screen off at the regular screen time-out interval. This was a widget working within the Widget Clock dock software upon docking the phone in the standard dock.
When I put my Atrix in my HD dock and the dock is powered on, the Atrix automatically brings up the widget clock in landscape. When the dock is powered off, nothing happens (screen stays off). Is there a way to start the widget clock mode manually -- I do not want to leave the Atrix charging all the time. I notice that there is an app to start the car dock view. Is there one to start the landscape clock widget? The Atrix is up to date running 2.3.4.

Is anybody else having these issues? It shows my corporate sync messages immediately and with no issues, but the SMS usually lag behind by a few minutes or never display in the widget at all.

View 1 Replies View Related I recently purchased a used, unlocked Motorola Atrix off eBay from a reputable seller (over 5000 feedback & 100%).Having put my o2 sim card & micro SD card into the Atrix, I plugged in the charger & left it for a few hours.I then turned it on & followed the instructions for creating a MotoBlur account & setting everything else up.Once I started getting use to the layout, I then realised there was no status bar at the top of the screen.I've hunted thru menus & tried several factory resets but no status bar.I got in touch with the seller who told me to download the Software Update program from Motorola.
I've now tried the UK retail, the UK Orange (it was originally on Orange Network) and the US AT&T & each time it gives me the option to reinstall but fails after 23% with "Error - Update has not been completed" during which time the phone has rebooted & locks up at the initial ['M' Dual Core] logo screen. Only a battery pull resets it.
Has anyone come across this situation where the status bar doesn't exist?

I have owned the phone for a week and previously owned an Atrix. I have downloaded several apps and after restarting my phone some have disappeared. This was ongoing for several days and different apps. A google search shows this to be an issue with several models of Motorola phones when moving apps to the SD card or Media area. A temporary work around seems to be to keep the apps in the phones memory. Not sure this is a permanent fix because many people and I want to move their large apps to the SD card as the OS was designed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use my Atrix as a mp3 player when at the gym so I don't miss any calls or texts. I was at the gym the other day and my phone reboots on it's own. When it restarts, the stock motorola music player is gone from my phone. I checked the app drawer and under manage applications, it looked like it was deleted. I then reboot my phone 3 times, to no avail. Music player is gone. I am not a huge fan of it because it sometime skips, but it's the only one that give me the ability to skip a song while the phone is locked. A few days pass and it happens again while I am using Winapp, but this time when the phone restarts, the music player is back.

When using the Nat Geo widget recently I got a message stating that there was an update available. I ran the update but the next time I restarted the phone the widget was gone from my 3rd home screen (where it was is empty). I tried adding it again but it does not appear on the list of available widgets. When I go into Application Manager -> Installed Applications and view the log it says the last installed app is Nat Geo (2.03(6)). how I can get the widget back?

There was a black box saying that the widgit had malfunctioned. Now my phone won't connect to the internet at all.The upgrade is probably not linked to the problem but is the only new thing I have done to the phone recently.
