I updated my phone yesterday to the pinch and zoom function and this morning the widgit which tells me my phone is connected to the net and also what networks are available has gone. There was a black box saying that the widgit had malfunctioned. Now my phone won't connect to the internet at all.The upgrade is probably not linked to the problem but is the only new thing I have done to the phone recently.

When using the Nat Geo widget recently I got a message stating that there was an update available. I ran the update but the next time I restarted the phone the widget was gone from my 3rd home screen (where it was is empty). I tried adding it again but it does not appear on the list of available widgets. When I go into Application Manager -> Installed Applications and view the log it says the last installed app is Nat Geo (2.03(6)). how I can get the widget back?

I pressed ok but it then told me I had too many things open and to go close some. I went and closed some but when I got back to the page it said it had aborted the update. I then went back to my homescreen and the widget had disappeared!
View 10 Replies View RelatedThis weekend I noticed that my calendar widget was falling a day behind. I deleted it from my homescreen and then tried to add it back. It brings up the configuration screen, but it refuses to add it to my homescreen, even if I try it on an entirely blank homescreen. I use launcherpro, but it hasn't had a recent update, and I have never had an issue before. I have tried restarting to no avail.

View 8 Replies View Relatedtoday my e52 froze, was up to date (051.018) so i reinstalled the software using the nokia ovi suite. my phone turned on a again, no problem everything seemed oke until i noticed the folder 'internet' was now called 'web' and i can't put the shortcuts to facebook and Internet there anymore. a second thing that had changed is the folder gps disappeared. and now the 3 apps who were in there are just in the app's folder
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 9105 3G phone's Internet Browser logo has disappeared for 2 weeks. I used to surf internet without problem, but now I can't go to any site, even through the 'WAP' . I can only find 'Browser' by 'Switch Application' but again no internet is accessible.
I am in the UK and the phone is contracted with Three. Internet had been accessible since June when I bought it but 2 weeks ago this happened. I've tried to re-send Host Routing Table registration message, but still has got nothing on the screen, nor can I go to internet.
I also find that 'Blackberry Internet Service' is 'not connected'. I don't know whether that's a problem but actually my internet has been fine, because I can still download extra applications through 'App World' icon.
My weather widget has gone and cant find it to put back on my home screen!!, where it is??? ive looked in my "running apps" and it still appears to be on my phone.

A few app's say that my GPs is turned off when its not and the weather widget can't find my location, and whem i'm lucky it does but gets it completly wrong, usealy about 15km in the wrong direction. Strangely a lot of GPS requierd app's work fine. Rebooting the phone hasn't worked and re-instal the non working app's neither. At first i thought the problems where in the app's but I find it hard to belive that that many app's have the same problem and also the weather widget that was factory installed doesn't work properly.

One more thing, After updated to ICS, it is taking more time to open "phone--recent call logs" and some time it is getting stuck. Getting "Not Responding" message for many times in ICS.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm on the latest official ICS 4.0.4. I was using the stock weather widget when using the stock Xperia Home Launcher. I just changed to Nova Launcher, which I find better than the stock launcher. However, now I find that I cannot access the Weather Widget from the Widget Menu. Most/all other widgets seem to be listed there, but the weather widget is missing!
Is there any way I can get this widget on Nova? I really liked that widget, and it seemed fairly accurate too. But I don't want to get back to the stock launcher just for it.
I know the stock Weather Widget is from Accuweather, but I am unable to find the same same widget on the Android Market. Screen showing 2 widgets in question below:
Initially I used my Z3 without SD card. Everything word fine: album AND the foto widget which allows to browse through taken pictures.
After
- installing an SD card,
- changing the location for newly taken pictures to SD card
- AND moving some pictures to other directories -
- AND creating a number of .nomedia files on these directories to make these pictures not appear in the album nor in the foto widget,
the foto widget shows a broken image icon for ALL pictures taken until this change. All new pictures display fine in the widget and the album app.
I delete the album cache and data file (in settings -- all apps -- album).This didn't change anything (so far).
How can I force the album app/widget to recreate it's database and preview/thumbnails??
Encounter error with the xperia z3 weather widget ?
The auto detection of location does not work. I have set the update interval to every 2 hours.
Before i left for work the location on the weather widget is "Kampong San Teng"
When i reach office and after 2 hours the location is still "Kampong San Teng" only when i manually go to weather widget and tap on use my location then it will change to "Buona Vista".
Is there any app that allow us to see how fast is the internet connection while browsing, downloadqing, etc like netqin data planner?
