Xperia Z3 :: Photo Widget Show Broken Image Icons Instead Of Thumbnails

Initially I used my Z3 without SD card. Everything word fine: album AND the foto widget which allows to browse through taken pictures.
After
- installing an SD card,
- changing the location for newly taken pictures to SD card
- AND moving some pictures to other directories -
- AND creating a number of .nomedia files on these directories to make these pictures not appear in the album nor in the foto widget,

the foto widget shows a broken image icon for ALL pictures taken until this change. All new pictures display fine in the widget and the album app.

I delete the album cache and data file (in settings -- all apps -- album).This didn't change anything (so far).
Â
How can I force the album app/widget to recreate it's database and preview/thumbnails??

Device is BB9000 Installed latest BB Desktop Manager and Roxio for managing image files Initially I had 5 pictures loaded into the BB9000 and could see them just fine in Media, Pictures, All Pictures I then took 2 pictures with the BB9000 Camera and saved them. They showed up just fine in Media, Pictures, All Pictures I then used Roxio, launched from the BB Desktop Manager to delete these 2 pictures from the BB9000 and all appeared to be fine as Roxio showed the 5 original images as present in the Home, User, Picture folder When I disconnected the BB9000 and accessed Media, Pictures, All Pictures, there are now 5 images and 2 broken icon thumbnails. Next I enabled Mass Media from Home, Options, Memory I then connected the BB9000 via USB (not running BB Desktop Manager at this point) and opened up the drive (in my case G:) in explorer. I can clearly see the 5 original images in the folder and each one can be opened using explorer. Next I disconnected the USB cable and this time there are 4 broken image icons in Media, Pictures, All Pictures while the original 5 images are still all there. One image has also been duplicated (called trail.jpg) and if I delete one using the BB9000, likely both will disappear but for now, have not done anything. If I select one of the broken image icons in Media, Pictures, All Pictures and select Delete, a prompt comes up "The selected file is read only. Are you sure you wish to delete it?". Selecting Yes does nothing. The image remains as a broken image icon. How is this corrected?

I deleted images directly from the images folder via my PC, and now have loads of broken image icons (1577 of them) which are presumably there because somewhere there's a file or database referencing the original image names.I can't restore them from anywhere because they're deleted, so some of the fixes I've found on the forums don't work. I've tried deleting files from within the private folder as well, as per another forum post, and that didn't work either. I tried resetting to factory settings, but that didn't help.

So, explain this to me -- my iPhone will take pictures, that's not a problem at all. HOWEVER, when I go into my Camera Roll it elects to show me some jpg and png icons instead of the thumbnail of my picture. url...

As the title said, deleted photo's thumbnails appear in my N97's capture gallery. I capture an image or two and when I go to my Photos > Captured I see tumbnails of images I deleted a long time ago. When I open a file I still see an image that was deleted ower a year ago.
Only when I click "edit" do I see the recently captured image that I should have seen in the first place.I tried everything. Restore factory settings, delete everything the phone lets me in explorer... still the problem persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Perhaps i'm preaching to the converted,but since hi-res images do not show up as thumbnails,just as DNG files when looking at the files on the phone, using windows explorer,i decided to copy all the hi-res images to a new folder on the computer.On looking at the new folder in explorer, thumbnails where being shown, but with strange purple and green casts.I then decided to run all the images through Adobes DNG convertor,and lo and behold all the images where now normal,and easily viewable.

I've recently flashed my phone, deleting everything...
Than I restored my files via Ovi Suite... Than I ended up with 1800 broken thumbnails
I've tried formating it- same
I've tried finding the private folder where the cache is-doesn't exist
It has something to do with the phone memory, can't find the cache/thumbnail folder there...

I have an E63 with a very strange problem. When i bought my phone, I could use the Facebook mobile (web) version without any problem. But now when I am using the build in browser to surf to the mobile Facebook website i have broken image links.I don't see the facebook logo, the mobile phone icons But, i can see the people's pictures!When i completely reset my phone it all works again.But a day or two later I have the same problem. And only the Facebook page has this problem, no other website.I don't have the problem when using Opera as a browser, but I want to use the build-in one.The only software I have installed on my phone is Skype, Ovi shop, and Nokia E-mail... I don't know what to do how to resolve this!

Normally when I shot a photo and in the photo viewing mode I can select "details" to see the full details of the captured photo such as shutter speed information. However, recently I found that the information does not show in full like in the past. The shutter speed an some other details are disappeared. How can I bring this back....

Downloading another widget is not the answer to a broken widget. My Motorola Date/Time Widget now freezes every night when I charge the phone. I know how to resize the widget to get it unstuck. I know I can try to download another widget to replace it.What I don't know is why Motorola doesn't fix this teeny little widget and make it work correctly?

after this week update I'm not able to add this widget to my screen. I used to have it but deleted it. When I went back to put it on I get a message that I can only have one PicFrame widget on my homescreen... i went ahead and rebooted the phone and still the same. So I decided to clear the Home Data, to bring it back to stock, it let me add the widget but it wouldn't show any pics.. so I deleted it to try and add it back and got the same error I was getting befofe.... Can anyone else try to add the widget, delete it, and try adding it again? Any partial fix comes to mind. I think that the HOME app is locking data into memory and not releasing it... maybe that's why when I deleted the HOME DATA I was able to put it back.. but now is not letting me...

The Music Widget does not jump correctly to the currently playing track when clicked on. It instead goes to the music library list and on top of that does not go the currently active album, but goes to the beginning of the list. Once in that state if you go back to the home screen and use the music shortcut instead, that too will mimic the widget behavior.The only way to correctly jump to the current track is to have the music player in currently playing view then go to the homescreen and use the music shortcut only. Then It behaves correctly.This is an annoying bug when one is listening to music all day at work every day.

I had my nexus one screen broken; the touch still working but the image is not displayed clearly. I live outside USA where there is no supporter for nexus one. So I need to order the required spare part to fix my device either by me or by technician. I don't want to send my phone to be repaired then wait until get it back so it will spend a lot of time and money. In my old Xperia phone, I can create Direct Dial shortcut on Home Screen. In which the icon displayed for the shortcut is the photo in the Contact. However, after I changed to the new Z2, the photo can't be displayed as icon on the Home Screen.

I've been using the N97 for some time now. Recently I discover that when I use the web browser to see webpages, some pictures/icons of the webpages won't be able to show correctly and end up showing the broken icon (the icon of a picture torn in half). For example, sometimes the icon of an app in the ovi store can't show correctly and becomes the broken icon. That also happens when I use facebook with the N97, where some avatars of my friends become that broken icon.Does anyone know what the cause of the problem is?

I have about 5 icons with a ? on it. How would I get them to display the icon as a picture/ico? I can't tell what the icon is for without clicking on it & opening each one up. In doing so, I can tell you the missing ones seem to be:
explore music apps
explore rintone apps
explore video apps
Voice Notes Recorder
I think they went missing when I removed a theme. The theme went away but didn't put these back how they originally were. I had to get rid of the theme as it changed all the icons & being new to the phone, am still learning what the icons mean so when the theme changed them, it added to my confusion?

Recently my nokia 5800 started displaying broken thumb icons in the picture lybrary.The pictures are fine on my memory card but the phone cant display them.Its not the memory card because my music works.Also i think that my phone didint update like it should the last time i tried it because it got kinda slow can i "preinstall it"

Running ICS on Xoom Wifi. When creating a photo gallery widget, and selecting a single image, then go to crop, it seems to freeze the tablet on Saving Picture... prompt. Touching the controls icons won't do anything, just blank screen.I have to wait for a few, then the launcher freeze popup saying wait/report/stop. When creating photo gallery widget from album or shuffle, it works. It just doesn't work with single image. I think this is a bug, repeatable with any images.if I have space left, it says 28.11 GB free.

I have used Mp3tag v2.54 to embed an cover image to my Mp3 files I have on my computer.That worked great because when I play an Mp3 file on the computer, with for an example VLC player, I can see the cover image of the Mp3 file.Now, when I use Windows Phone - App Preview 2 and sync the Mp3 files to my Nokia Lumia 920 the files are transferred and everything works good except for the image that won't show up?

After updating to Bella N8 has synchronized with Outlook via Nokia Suite. The Calendar shows all the dates. I have two calendars. The first calendar comes with Mail For Exchange, the second from Outlook (synchronization with the Nokia Suite). Calendar Widget only shows events from the Exchange account, and newly added to the second calendar. It does not matter whether the added element: task, meeting. I can only see those that will add to the phone. Synchronized with Outlook do not appear.

I need a solution for showing the Artist Image of an Mp3 file on the lock screen!
I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.

I recently just started having an issue trying to import photos and videos from my iPhone 5s to my 2009 macbook pro. (version 10.6.8). It will connect to my phone, but it will say there are 0 photos to import. I've check and I am updated on both, and I've followed the other steps listed at iOS: Unable to import photos to computer. Â
Note: I actually think this started after updating my iphone to the latest software.
