I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.
Using the MP3Tag program on my PC, I added an album cover (from my own jpeg image) then transferred it to the N900. Worked fine. Later I wanted to change the cover so deleted the original via the the MP3Tag program and transferred to the N900, but the original image was still used by the N900 media player. I even deleted the N900 folder containing this album before re-transferring it from the PC. I also tried searching the N900 while attached to the PC in Mass Storage mode and found nothing, and I searched ALL folders, files and file types, hidden and not, on the entire device, and it was still not to be found (yes, including the localmediaart folder).So even though I deleted the original image in the MP3Tag program's metadata files and on the N900 itself, that first cover art image still remains somewhere. I do know there are some files not visible/searchable on the N900 and that must be where this image remains. I did solve the problem in a undesirable way by re-naming the album in MP3Tag, then the new art appeared on the N900.Any ideas on how to truly delete a file on the N900?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Lumia 800 (yay!) but I think I may have messed things up already. When I inserted the sim card slot back into the phone the USB cover was already closed. Now the sim card slot is almost entirely inserted, except for the very end of it which is sticking out slightly (but not even enough to slide a fingernail under it). The USB cover won't open at all.

If I push the area slightly with my finger, it makes light noise. It is fatal problem but very annoying.The reason might be the plastic cover is not strong enough to stick to the phone body.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust like most on the forums around the net, having serious issues with BB encrytption of jpg's. BB stopped working and transfered all 400 pictures off of it o my Mac. I could not view the .jpg.rem images on my Mac, however I figured I would let it lie based on most of the posts. Got back my BB and transfered the images back onto the BB and all I see are image files with hourglasses? Tried turning off and on encryption, tried renaming and transfering files, emailing them, switching folders and just about every possible combination...to the point where I see that the "damaged or corrupted" error.

I ran in kind of problem...I have iPhone 3gs, that needs blackra1n every time i turn it on. Problem began few days ago, when it got stuck, so i had to reset it, and when i tryed to blackra1n it, it got stuck...I tryed few more times and than it worked.
That happened also next day, and i had to do blackra1n like 20 times.Now i this does not work anymore and it gets stuck everytime.Problem is because i have on cydia only files for 3.1.3 so i cannot restore it to 3.1.2 as i normaly did.I have sbsettings and SSH, but i think i turned it off :/I have 05.11.7 modem firmware and 6.4 bootloader.

It will connect to my phone, but it will say there are 0 photos to import. I've check and I am updated on both, and I've followed the other steps listed at iOS: Unable to import photos to computer. Â
Note: I actually think this started after updating my iphone to the latest software.

Initially I used my Z3 without SD card. Everything word fine: album AND the foto widget which allows to browse through taken pictures.
After
- installing an SD card,
- changing the location for newly taken pictures to SD card
- AND moving some pictures to other directories -
- AND creating a number of .nomedia files on these directories to make these pictures not appear in the album nor in the foto widget,

the foto widget shows a broken image icon for ALL pictures taken until this change. All new pictures display fine in the widget and the album app.

I delete the album cache and data file (in settings -- all apps -- album).This didn't change anything (so far).

How can I force the album app/widget to recreate it's database and preview/thumbnails??
