I just got my Lumia 800 (yay!) but I think I may have messed things up already. When I inserted the sim card slot back into the phone the USB cover was already closed. Now the sim card slot is almost entirely inserted, except for the very end of it which is sticking out slightly (but not even enough to slide a fingernail under it). The USB cover won't open at all.

View 8 Replies View RelatedThis is the second 710 that have the same issue. The back cover around power button is starting getting loose after a week or 2 of usage. If I push the area slightly with my finger, it makes light noise. It is fatal problem but very annoying.The reason might be the plastic cover is not strong enough to stick to the phone body.

I am brand new to the Nokia 710 and I have my AOL email account linked up to the phone. I am able to send and recieve emails just fine.My problem is that when I try to open/download any attachments like a Word or PDF document that are in the emails, they never open. They start to open but never do. I can open these attachements on my old Palm Pixi rather quickly and without any trouble so I know it is not the files that are the problem.
I've searched both this USA forum and the UK one and didn't see anyone else with the same issue... so did I not set up something properly with the phone?

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
I noticed today as I took off the back cover that the battery area is very loose and if I just turn it over, the battery would fall out. Anyone else have this problem?

My phone had no protective film at that time. My question is if the scratch is produced on the LCD display or on some cover that protects the display. In the service of Nokia, will they make me replace all the expensive LCD display, or just the cover that protects it?
The LCD is not damaged and the touchscreen works well, but the scratch on the screen is a bit annoying
I have bought a nokia N86 for about 2 months, but one time the handset dropped on the ground and the outer cover got broken. I went to ask for a spare part but I found it expensive. What made me hesitating is that someone told me that the preinstalled cover is much better than the one I buy from the nokia care service. Is that right?
