I have bought a nokia N86 for about 2 months, but one time the handset dropped on the ground and the outer cover got broken. I went to ask for a spare part but I found it expensive. What made me hesitating is that someone told me that the preinstalled cover is much better than the one I buy from the nokia care service. Is that right? Shall I go and replace my cover or just stick with my cover?
Few days back I purchased 2700 classic. Its functionality is fine but the outer screen from where we listened the phone looked not totally fixed. There is a gap between the screen and outer cover. Often When I pressed from that side then it lookd adjust (see attached image) I want to ask whether it is as designed or there is some problem?
i had my n900 for a while now.camera lens cover(top part) has peeled off from its glue and the wire makes the cover open and close came loose by itself. i have the warranty but i do not want to send my phone just for the cover for 2 weeks. is there any place on web that i can order the lens cover only and replace it my self. its very east to remove since its plastic base.i only have the blue base on the phone now and it is loose so its keep opening the camera mode. very annoying. please help.
iphone 4 stolen, bought used 3gs, took to att store and it turned on fine and they 'wiped' it and after that it became stuck in the silver apple symbol. there seemed to be nothing they could do. took it home, connected it to laptop's USB thing and both iTunes and computer does not recognize it. i've tried the simultaneous button, charged it, downloaded latest version of iTunes, restarted computer.
I noticed today as I took off the back cover that the battery area is very loose and if I just turn it over, the battery would fall out. Anyone else have this problem?
I had kept my phone (5530 XM) in my pocket, where I had some keys. Apparently, a key has pressed on the screen making a scratch. My phone had no protective film at that time. My question is if the scratch is produced on the LCD display or on some cover that protects the display. In the service of Nokia, will they make me replace all the expensive LCD display, or just the cover that protects it?
The LCD is not damaged and the touchscreen works well, but the scratch on the screen is a bit annoying
3710 How do I get the back cover off? I had it off once to put the battery in; now it appears to be stuck.I 'm trying to follow the pictorial instructions, but it is not budging.
I just got my Lumia 800 (yay!) but I think I may have messed things up already. When I inserted the sim card slot back into the phone the USB cover was already closed. Now the sim card slot is almost entirely inserted, except for the very end of it which is sticking out slightly (but not even enough to slide a fingernail under it). The USB cover won't open at all.
Does anyone know where I can buy Nokia Xpress-on cover for Lumia 710 in Australia? Or anywhere overseas that will ship to Australia. Nokia lists them on their website but not how/where to purchase.
I notice customers in the U.S. are getting free covers. Is this going to be available to other countries???

How does the N8 pick up cover art for the mp3?, I have a library of full albums in tradition folder structures with complete id tags and cover art fetched online through Amarok. When I copy the albums over, most of them show up with no cover art. Only the random few will have it. I am trying to figure out why so I can make them all work the way it prefers.
I have just purchased a 1208 and I having problemns removing battery cover. Do you need to press a release button and if so where is it as it just won't slide off.
Nokia 1661: Simple question. The users guide says simply to slide the battery cover down. It doesn't say HOW to slide the battery cover down. It does'nt slide.
How could this be allowed in customer hands? This is happened on my Lumia800, right now, it can't be recharging, it can't be operated on SIM slot, and I can't solve this problem by myself! Now, do I admire the design of new NOKIA new windows phone?
This is the second 710 that have the same issue. The back cover around power button is starting getting loose after a week or 2 of usage. If I push the area slightly with my finger, it makes light noise. It is fatal problem but very annoying. The reason might be the plastic cover is not strong enough to stick to the phone body.
Using the MP3Tag program on my PC, I added an album cover (from my own jpeg image) then transferred it to the N900. Worked fine. Later I wanted to change the cover so deleted the original via the the MP3Tag program and transferred to the N900, but the original image was still used by the N900 media player. I even deleted the N900 folder containing this album before re-transferring it from the PC. I also tried searching the N900 while attached to the PC in Mass Storage mode and found nothing, and I searched ALL folders, files and file types, hidden and not, on the entire device, and it was still not to be found (yes, including the localmediaart folder). So even though I deleted the original image in the MP3Tag program's metadata files and on the N900 itself, that first cover art image still remains somewhere. I do know there are some files not visible/searchable on the N900 and that must be where this image remains. I did solve the problem in a undesirable way by re-naming the album in MP3Tag, then the new art appeared on the N900.Any ideas on how to truly delete a file on the N900?
Opening my N900 camera cover does not launch camera app anymore. If screen is turned off, then opening the cover turns screen on but camera app does not start. I can start camera software only from menu. Restarting device does not help.
I don't know how it happened, but the plastic cover(mounted to camera) which covers the lens & flash has an oblique crack across it.
It's not interfering with picture-taking (and I still have the removable clear plastic cover over the top (the one that comes with new camera). Is it worth repairing ?If so, how would I go about this ?
It was a problem since many days but i ignored it. But now whenever i open the lens cover of the camera, it doesn't open the camera instead i've to press the lens cover hard down to activate my camera. Also there is a gap down highlighted with circle and the black lens cover is slightly coming in front of camera again highlighted by an arrow.
"On occasion, the camera lens cover of the N97 can cause scratches on the lens. Nokia has acknowledged that on many devices the cover is mounted too closely to the lens so that dust and debris can cause scratches.[8] On later models however, this issue seems to have been resolved."
How can I know that the one i am going to buy is one of the "later models"? I do not complain about that specific camera lens problem, but it's always nice to buy the most recent hardware. I just want a way to know what hardware version is the phone I am going to buy. Is it written on the box? What's the format? Screenshots?
What i should do, my 5800's right side front cover looks like this Phone: Nokia 5800 and HTC One VNokia 2610 --> N70 --> 3120 Classic --> X3 --> 5230 --> 5800 & HTC One V
I have used Mp3tag v2.54 to embed an cover image to my Mp3 files I have on my computer. That worked great because when I play an Mp3 file on the computer, with for an example VLC player, I can see the cover image of the Mp3 file. Now, when I use Windows Phone - App Preview 2 and sync the Mp3 files to my Nokia Lumia 920 the files are transferred and everything works good except for the image that won't show up?
