Few days back I purchased 2700 classic. Its functionality is fine but the outer screen from where we listened the phone looked not totally fixed. There is a gap between the screen and outer cover. Often When I pressed from that side then it lookd adjust (see attached image) I want to ask whether it is as designed or there is some problem?
View 10 RepliesI have bought a nokia N86 for about 2 months, but one time the handset dropped on the ground and the outer cover got broken. I went to ask for a spare part but I found it expensive. What made me hesitating is that someone told me that the preinstalled cover is much better than the one I buy from the nokia care service. Is that right? Shall I go and replace my cover or just stick with my cover?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an LG G3 and every time I am on the lock screen and I cover the sensors (I think it is called the ambient light sensor or proximity I am not sure) the screen turns off, even if I use the physical power button and not double tap to wake. It makes it difficult to use while in an arm band case, also when trying to check it while keeping it inside my back pack since it keeps going off until I take it out and unlock it.

The DX2 doesn't seem to do this out of the box so my guess is Moto just shipped it with a setting for it off. How do I enable it? Kind of annoying to have to pull the phone out and unlock it for every minor volume adjustment.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a new Sony Xperia Play & I love the phone minus a few things and one of them is the screen brightness, I just updated to the latest OS and It is very annoying when the screen is so dark until you hold it up to the light and then it is bright again, This was to be the replacement of my X10 and if I could get the screen brightness issue fixed I would be a happy camper. I searched and see there is only one fix for it right now and that is to root your phone and apply the fix but I do not want to attempt to do that quite yet. If anyone has heard if Sony plans on fixing this or if there is another way around it please let me know for I am still looking at the new Samsung Galaxy II Infuse 4G which was my other option other than the Play.

Earlier on this morning at some point my screen began to malfunction appearing if it has been cracked. The phone was placed in my pocket and during some point after class and walking to halls this happened. The only other thing in my pocket was £1.50 in change (£1.00 and £0.50) and a plastic card key. I have absolutly no Idea how this has happened. I didn't fall, get mugged, get hit by anything, I just walked back to halls. Has this happened to anyone else and will my warranty cover it?Also will I be able to get all the data from it onto my computer?

So i was wondering if there is a case that will snap on or something to that effect that would cover the screen..? View 10 Replies View RelatedOk, before you trolls all rabidly defend RIM and jump on me with fingers pointed, yes I dropped the phone and it's all my fault, I didn't stick the phone in a vault until my protective case arrived, etc. etc. there I said it, now you don't have to. Last night around 9pm, I picked up a gorgeous blackberry bold 9700 from walmart for cheap money, an upgrade. 13 hours later, I dropped it, tried to catch it with my foot, and like skipping a rock across a pond, kicked it across my client's driveway full of sharp rocks, face down. Awesome.So now I have these scratches in my screen. Superficial maybe, but even though the LCD itself is perfectly fine (all my pixels are in good order), I have to spend $130+shipping to buy a new LCD unit, just because there's no separate screen cover anymore? That's what it seems like after checking the parts sites.
I noticed right away that the screen on the 9700 is right up front instead of set back behind an extra piece of plastic. I can press pretty hard on my curve 8310's screen without getting funky colors out of the LCD (I think I'd break the screen cover before the LCD would even flinch), but the 9700's screen is very sensitive to pressure.I don't know why RIM would brilliantly cover up their LCD units with hard, replaceable screen covers for years, one of the nicest features of their rugged phones, I thought, then go and do this to me. Yes, you heard right, it's all about me.Any comments? Suggestions? Tell me I'm wrong and show me how I CAN replace the screen cover without replacing the LCD unit? After scouring parts sites, doesn't look like I can.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI discovered this evening while wiping the screen with a micro-fiber cloth while there was a scrollable list on the screen that my finger touches were registering right through the cloth!So I played with that a little bit and I thought that was sorta clumsy tryingto keep thecloth wrapped around my finger.I wondered if finger touches would register if I was wearing a finger cot.So I tried one and was stunned when it WORKED!!It worked right through the latex or whatever they are made from.You can get them at the drug store. Just ask for finger cots at the pharmacy. If they don't know what they are, some people call them Mexican condoms. No offense intended for any hispanics on the board.Just roll it on your finger as far as is comfortable. All you need is to cover the tip of your finger.

( very noticeable when background is white).I tried to live with it however find it very annoying when you play on a white background game. Like the free game Penguin ( which is similar to Tiny Wing on iOS).

On the new phone Nokia 2700 classic (after official upgrade to firmware ver. 09.95) periodically disappears icon of a signal of a network, after a while phone show the message "Error of registration of a sim card" and an inscription "there is no service" on the screen. After disappearance of the indicator of a network it is impossible to make a call and to fulfil USSD-inquiry, while on other phone (other brand) with a SIM-card of the same operator the network works absolutely normally. The network appears only after device reboot, hand-held search of a network does not help even. Network miss is often observed at attempt to be connected to EDGE, also the signal can disappear and itself, without what or my operations, in a standby mode. Replacement of a SIM-card has not given any result. Phone works in a range 1800 MHz.

View 2 Replies View RelatedN96 was working fine until two weeks ago, hasnt been dropped or damaged so i can only think its the update of software.i have reset it and still i have the same problem.If I slide open to answer calls or messages or use the menu's by opening it as if to use the media player (ie slide down) it works fine. If I slide up i get a blank screen and it takes absolutely ages to get the menu n screen When a call comes in screen goes blank except for a few lines (top middle)

First of all i was sending a message and the screen randomly went black and red lines came across the screen for a few seconds then it went back to my message .. Then I was charging it Good Friday and took it out to make a call and the screen went white as if I was turning the phone on as nokia came across the screen please help why is it doing this?

I'm having difficulty updating my nokia N97 software to the latest version; as the current one on my phone is version v20.0.019. My phone's screen keeps blacking out and to restore the front screen applications I have to keep switching it off then back on again. I've been to the nokia dealer with this issue but they sent me back home and suggested I keep trying the update. I've been trying this but the nokia software installer in my computer suggests it cannot find my mobile when connected through the usb cable (even though my pc detects the connection). I dont know what I'm doing wrong, can someone suggest something else and also what is the latest version I can get?
