got an issue with brand new nokia lumia 900.hone is fully updated and when i tap on "camera" or use the camera button, the software for it launches, but buttons are all greyed out then it closes. Ive ran it in diagnostic mode with the same problem.
View 1 RepliesI have two issues. I took a picture using Nokia camera app which is on default. Some pics didn't save.
Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
Today when out golfing I tried taking some smart cam photos and noticed after taking a couple in a row I couldn't go back and open them in Nokia camera to change the picture. Doesn't happen all the time but twice today I couldn't edit the photo.

I'm having a problem with the inner camera shutter on my N86. When I open the outer shutter, the camera software starts but the inner mechanical shutter doesn't open. I can even take a picture of the inside of it!Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know a way round it?

First its my biggest problem I can not open camera !!! when I press the camera nothing happens.when I check the running programs its seems its working but its not this is annoying.I reset my factory settings it worked for a few days and its gone again.I formatted the phone it worked for a few days and gone again..And my other problem I can't create my own profile.I think its a software problem and I bagging you to fix it.I can't take this anymore I bought 5320 before it failed at everything I gave it back.If this problem will not solve I promise I'll not use nokia anymore.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Lumia 800 (yay!) but I think I may have messed things up already. When I inserted the sim card slot back into the phone the USB cover was already closed. Now the sim card slot is almost entirely inserted, except for the very end of it which is sticking out slightly (but not even enough to slide a fingernail under it). The USB cover won't open at all.

Not only that, I could download and store the said documents straight to my phone and open with the Microsoft apps too.On the Lumia I'm unable to do either, even though this has Office 365.I'm unable to open any attachment straight from email with it's inbuilt office suite.I do own Office 2010 on my PC, but what do I need to do to integrate with Office 365?When I added my email address it just duplicated the account and still didn't open attachments?

I am able to send and recieve emails just fine.My problem is that when I try to open/download any attachments like a Word or PDF document that are in the emails, they never open. They start to open but never do. I can open these attachements on my old Palm Pixi rather quickly and without any trouble so I know it is not the files that are the problem.
I've searched both this USA forum and the UK one and didn't see anyone else with the same issue... so did I not set up something properly with the phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just want to share my experience with you.I've been using an unlocked Lumia 800 for a week now and I actually like the phone, however these camera problems are just unacceptable.
The camera has SERIOUS white balance problems, and, for me the most important, the auto-focus is just ridiculous. It works bad, but focusing on "macro" objects is just a no go, even usin the touch focus or the "macro" focus mode. Another problem is the lens flare, which reflects how bad these optics might be. You really think that the Carl Zeiss branded optics anything here? Think again. My HTC Incredible S, with its "OEM" optics, (or the Iphone 4S or the SII) just humiliates this camera. Also, is that so hard to make a green square focus confirmarion?
How can they release a flagship device, with this price range, with these problems? No wonder why Nokia is where it is standing now, "almost" in a closing-doors status. They really need better engineers and programmers because everytime they let this happen with a device, they're tossing away their valuable customers. And they really deserve it.
And as I've been reading, the Lumia 900 is having the same problems... How sad is this?
