Mar 19, 2012When I swipe upward to open the camera app (before entering the Passcode Lock number) and then close the camera app, my phone is completely unlocked. This is a security weakness that permits anybody to use my phone without needing the passcode. Is there a way to require a Passcode to be entered? I can't seem to find it. I found a claim in the iOS 5.1 description that says if you click the Home button from the camera app that "you're intercepted by the Passcode Lock" but I don't find that to be the case.

Jun 27, 2012I just updated my iPhone 4s to the newest iOS5.1.1 to my horror, my photos in my camera roll are all missing.
I backed up and everything before updating but my photos are gone. I've rebooted it, restored it several times but it won't work.
My lockscreen and homescreen wallpapers are saved in my camera roll previously and they're still present.

The camera icon appears even if I single click the home button, but whether I single click or double click the home button, touching the camera icon simply makes the screen bounce in rejection.

Jun 12, 2012I have an IPhone 4S. The camera won't open. i had think i had previously filled up the memory, but i have deleted at least 40 pictures since then, and the camera still won't open.
Secondly, i had tried to download some of the many pictures i have shot on my IPhone (great having a camera in my pocket) but the IPhoto on my older MAC powerbook G4 laptop (running OS X 10.5.8) insists on starting at the beginning of all the pictures, even though i say not to download the duplicates, and gets hung up/frozen halfway through ignoring the duplicates and freezes up, so i never get to download the new ones. Why is this? How can i choose just the new ones for I-Photo to import?
