After downloading the new software update, when my phone is locked and I press the home button twice for the shortcut to the camera it doesn't do anything after I press the camera icon! Before I updated it worked and now it doesn't! Why? It just shows the camera icon but when I press it, it doesn't take me to the camera.

With the new update, the new slide-camera-button-to-activate-camera feature has a major downfall... you are able to completely bypass entering you password and access all the phone information! After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Anyone know how to deactivate that camera feature or simply a way to prevent access to my phone?

So yesterday I upgraded my SGS2 from Android 2.3 to the the Ice cream sandwich via kies. All went well except that now I can't see my contact pictures in third party applications. My contacts are all linked to Facebook so their pictures are all set to their Facebook profile pictures. Before the update, applications such as whatsapp and Handcent SMS automatically sync this information and the contact name and picture will be displayed. Now only the stock applications can display contact name and picture not any downloaded application.

View 19 Replies View RelatedAfter noticing that my normal cables aren't working right, (I usually use a dock) I've been trying to figure out why.Finally found the cause. The dock is faulty. Pic's are at the bottom. The right side of it is pushing up more as you can see in the pics. It's firmly in that position, doesn't wiggle or anything and the phone still charges and music can be played using the dock.But the normal cables are all acting really dodgy now. If u push them in they'll connect for a second while your pushing and then disconnect when you let go... This has been getting worse and worse and obviously the dock has slowly been damaging the connector inside the phone.

Calendar is working 100% fine on Day and Month view - appointments are in the right place, right day, right time, synced from Mobile Me, and a calendar I subscribe to is also fine.
When I touch "List" view, and "Today", it thinks Today is Sun 7 Feb 2010. All my appointments are on the wrong day - "Today" 7 Feb I have an appointment that was last Saturday, 9 Jan. The same appointment appears "Yesterday", 6 Feb in the subscribed calendar - but only in List view
Have tried a hard reset and have tried unsubscribing the cal from MobileMe and resubscribing - any other ideas before I go for a Restore?
So this just recently started happening. When I slide the switch down (thus putting the phone on vibrate) it'll freak out and go back and forth between loud and vibrate. Touching the screen or the phone causes it to switch back and forth as well (i'll vibrate to signal). The other day the physical switch showed it was on vibrate but it was audible and playing sounds. The switch isn't actually broken off, and I don't think it's a software problem. Has anyone else had this issue? Phone hasn't been dropped and doesn't have any water damage

View 1 Replies View Relatediphone 3gs 3.1.2 here's my issue. i downloaded unlimvideo app from cydia. worked fine, streamed movies, etc. well, they updated, and the movies wouldn't stream anymore. so.... they said a temporary fix would be to download safari download toggle, and i did. well, it won't play movies, it won't play Internet videos (only sound), and it won't even play videos i have recorded with my phone (only sound). i removed safari download toggle, and it's still the same thing. when it does pull up my media player, it looks all out of whack. gonna attach a pic of what it looks like when trying to load a Internet video. i thought i would just restore my phone, but apple has come out with a new firmware that i don't want to update to, and itunes apparently absolutely insist that when you restore, you have to update.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8530 and while I was texting today my phone kept sending the message before I pressed the send button, after a while I figured out it happened anytime i pressed on the p key. So like I usually do when I have problems with my phone, I turned it off and back on. Then when it came back on and I was asked for my password, (which contains p's) my password kept sending as soon as I hit the p and it came back as incorrect because I was unable to finish typing it. I am now locked out of my phone and don't know how to fix it.
