I want to remove the camera shortcut form my new Samsung Galaxy S6 which is running android version 5.0.2.
I go to settings, personal and then to lockscreen and security and there is nothing. I browse and there is nothing.
I also would like to have to type in my PW before answering the phone which means I want to remove that shortcut too form the lockscreen.
I have been searching for this setting. How do I add/remove the phone icon/shortcut on Galaxy S5 lock screen?

And today when I wanted to take a quick picture I couldn't find the Camera shortcut which was usually in the right low corner... I looked thru the setting but I couldn't find anything. (My phone is running the 5.0 lollipop because for the T-Mobiles phones the 5.1 update is not out yet). how I can get that shortcut back?

View 8 Replies View RelatedWith the new update, the new slide-camera-button-to-activate-camera feature has a major downfall... you are able to completely bypass entering you password and access all the phone information! After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Anyone know how to deactivate that camera feature or simply a way to prevent access to my phone?

Shortly after I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1, the camera shortcut on my home screen stopped working. The camera icon appears even if I single click the home button, but whether I single click or double click the home button, touching the camera icon simply makes the screen bounce in rejection.
I have removed the passcode on my phone only to get the same effect.

This transition from iPhone to S5 has proven to be a total nightmare.
On my lock screen there's a small black bar that says 'Bill Cycle' and has some other information on it and no matter what I do I can't get it to go away. It just stays on my lock screen and therefore I can't see my wallpaper behind it.

How do I remove a shortcut from the Home Screen of a Nokia 700? I'm a bit clumpsy with the touch screen and I keep adding shortcuts for everyrhing. I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.
I have tried several apps to do this including No Lock and Anti Lock, but both just seem to completely disable the screen locking at all.
I have Android 5.0 and there is no option to remove the stock lock screen to make room for a third party lock screen application. I bought the mobile with 5.0 Lollipop already installed so I do not know how it was on 4.4 KitKat. I have no carrier as I am using the D855 international version of the G3. Problem is that file manager wont automatically launch when i plug it in and so as far I understand the method doesn't work for most or all owners of Galaxy S6 and Note 5. I wonder if the file manager wont pop up after latest update or it was that way originaly? If it happened after update is there any way to flash earlier version? I did restore to factory few times, last time - using Smart Switch. The phone has official Rom, not rooted..Or is there any other way to bypass activation to get to settings, other way remove FRP Lock?
I don't see a setting anywhere. Surely there is a way to remove these items right?
