Galaxy S6 :: Reset Phone And Remove FRP Lock

Message "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device."I have got a Samsung S6 SM-G920P Sprint with FRP Lock. The method is very simple - using OTG connecting a flash drive with downloaded app to a phone and then file manager will pop up, then just run app. The app basically just letting you get to phone settings where it will let to reset the phone and remove FRP Lock
Problem is that file manager wont automatically launch when i plug it in and so as far I understand the method doesn't work for most or all owners of Galaxy S6 and Note 5. I wonder if the file manager wont pop up after latest update or it was that way originaly? If it happened after update is there any way to flash earlier version? I tried ODIN to flash stock ROM but it fails and I am getting message SW REW. CHECK FAIL DEVICE: 3 BINARY: 2
I did restore to factory few times, last time - using Smart Switch. The phone has official Rom, not rooted..Or is there any other way to bypass activation to get to settings, other way remove FRP Lock?

Is there any way of removing the camera and phone icons on the lock screen. Could do it on my Alpha, but cannot seem to find the settings on my S6.

On my lock screen there's a small black bar that says 'Bill Cycle' and has some other information on it and no matter what I do I can't get it to go away. It just stays on my lock screen and therefore I can't see my wallpaper behind it.

What's the last update on the Samsung 5 went from loving my phone to hating it. 1 thing I hate is now I have stupid notifications right over the front of my lock screen. How to remove it and look through everything. Also now my internet crashes about every 5 minutes.

I have finally found a site to unlock my E71. so u don't have to keep putting in 12345 before you can use your phone ((how annoying )) ... Download Nokia PC Suite first (the updated one) from site below ... Or if you already have it on your computer go to control panel click on add and remove then Nokia PC Suite it will ask you to install or repair click on repair and that will give you the updated version ...the only way you can remove phone lock is to update your Nokia E71s software ..But make sure you BACKUP your phone before hand or you will delete everything ..open Nokia PC Suite then click on update software takes about 15min but well worth it,you can also download the games the phone originally came with ... Solitaire etc from this site
hope it works for you I was about to throw my phone at a wall.

I want to remove the camera shortcut form my new Samsung Galaxy S6 which is running android version 5.0.2.
I go to settings, personal and then to lockscreen and security and there is nothing. I browse and there is nothing.
I also would like to have to type in my PW before answering the phone which means I want to remove that shortcut too form the lockscreen.

I recently have been having some weird problems with my HTC One M7. My battery has been draining a heck of a lot faster than it used to. It has also been lagging quite a bit. Sometimes extremely.
For example. One day it drained 40% in one hour. As I am typing this, it has drained 6% in like 3 mins. That's insane.
For an example of lag, it has been registering short presses as long ones, or taking a long time to pop up the lock screen, or open the app drawer. Some times a few seconds.
I recently installed the newest sense update, and installed tasker from aptoide, but then deleted it.
When I tried to factory reset it, it does nothing. Same for removing device admins. ( I was trying to uninstall ac display).

Is it possible to change the screen lock pin on a Galaxy S5 without doing a hard reset. I just starting using the feature today. I enter a pin and reconfirm it. Walked away from the phone and when I went back to it and enter the pin I chose it keep telling me "incorrect pin". Samsung and Google support are saying my only option is hard reset since your can no longer change it with Android device Manager and I do not have a "findmymobile" account setup already.

My stepdaughter has a Samsung Impression and she forgot her password to get into her phone. As a result, her phone won't let you past the phone lock screen.
I've tried removing the battery and entering *2767*3855#, but it just say "unsupported character" when I hit the # key. I even tried *2767*2878# and it says the same thing, "unsupported character".
How can I get into this phone? To make matters worse, the calibration on the touch screen is so off that it's virtually unusable in the portrait position.

When I lock my SGS II i would expect all the buttons to lock! However the power button function remain active and its far too easy to accidently power off my phone or set it into flight mode.Does anyone know how to disable this "feature" ??

Like so many people here, i have also forgotten my phone Lock Code. So today i have decided to reset it anyhow and while playing with my phone K850i - A2 phone, db3150, BINGO, i found the way. May be this should work with all platform phones. But still this has to be confirmed by the owner of different platform phones. The solution is- look in your FS in this folder. tpa/preset/default now delete this file- 'security_domain_settings'. That's it. Your Phone Lock Code is reset to 0000.Before deleting you might want to back up that file. Though it is not required. Tested by me.Pls confirm this method by different platform phone users. edit: Just found that by deleting this file, it is not recreated. so there might be some functions which will not be able to use if you delete it. But by activating it, it serves the purpose. asking for passward and all. if you give wrong passward, it will not let you access. Do it at your risk. this means if you forget the passward again, you will not able to retrive it. edit 2 : By flashing the phone this file is recreated and you will have the same passward as you have set after deleting that file. In my opnion, just flash your phone after you use the above mentioned method.

I have a SE Naite which I must say is awesome. Yesterday the phone switched off due to low battery. But when I tried switching it on it is asking for a code. Since its been long I have forgotten it. Is there anyway to retrieve it or reset it? I tried using the XS++(v3.1) tool but it seems that its not able to retrieve any info from phone.

So my fully updated S5 lock screen will disable itself randomly. I will have it on the swipe or code lock and several days later it will just auto put it back to no screen lock. Same is happening to my wife's S5 and we have a few same apps that we have had for a year. It could be several days to one day.

A co-worker and I were chatting at the dinner table and as he saw me pop of the back cover of my phone and throw in my new SD card, he told me that I should not do that and I must power off first. I have been doing it this was for years with no problems. I thought earlier versions of Android did not really like the use doing this but the most recent, I thought it was okay.

I'm afraid to delete one of the accounts because the warning that comes up states that pressing delete will remove the account and all saved files on all my devices. I broke the screen on my S5 and my provider was able to get me a new phone however since my screen is broken - completely black (broken LCD) they were unable to transfer contacts, pictures, data, etc...
I am trying to back up the S5 to my PC but the software that I have been finding all needs some sort of authorization on the phone - which I am unable to do.
Is there anyway that I can save all of my data?

Recently I've bought an Galaxy S6. My ROM is the Stock 5.1.1. It has an icon in the right part of the topbar, right next to the wireless symbol.
It's an icon with a telephone receiver that have some waves coming out of it. I've searched for a solution of how to remove it, but the only one that's close to it it's the Speaker On icon.
