I used pc to transfer music to my 920, and the screen turn off, but the button light could still work, but i cant see anything on the screen, even i restarted my 920, the screen still dark.
View 5 RepliesI need a solution for showing the Artist Image of an Mp3 file on the lock screen!
I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.
In the past few days, the following things have happened.....
-Email notifications no longer show up on my lock screen or the email tile. They used to, now they don't. All the setting are unchanged.
-I get notifications that my phone is running out of storage space. I'm using 6GB out of 32, AND I have a 32GB card installed.
-Battery drains like someone shot a hole in it. Even plugged in to the USB port on my computer, it's slowly dying. This, of course, makes the back hot to the touch.
-I can't attach pictures to text messages anymore.
I'm not enrolled in any preview program, I didn't install anything strange, I didn't receive any notification updates, just business as usual until things went bad.
If your answer is going to be "hard reset" or something
I have uninstalled Insider. Went to store to install, it said, it's installed. Restarted the phone, installed Insider, selected fast ring, reboot. Now, when I unlock the phone, I see "Loading ... " on the black screen with dots flying above. Is that a problem? What exactly are we loading?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have something weird, I think it's since the Nokia -Microsoft deal.. Since they (MS) release their update to the app.. The thing is if I take a photo and then when going through the app to the last photo I took it shows me the first photo I took who is in my gallery.. For example, of I take a photo and want to see it right after I took it by pressing the button in the Nokia camera app it will show me the first pic I took that is in the gallery.. And if I will wait for a while and the try it will show me the last photo that I took, or if I will go directly to the gallery..

I've tried literally everything. Multiple USBs and computers. Installing connectivity driver. Restart my phone and computers. When plugged in, the phone will only charge. There is no indication on the computer that a device has been connected (I checked Device Manager and it's nowhere to be found, not even under hidden items). When I plug it into my computer, it's the same as plugging it into a wall outlet. I've read tons of solutions online and tried them all. It makes me think that something has gone wrong with my phone. The issue isn't my computer's USB ports or even the USBs I've tried. It sounds like an issue with my phone. When I first purchased the phone, it was able to sync to the computer and I could transfer pictures from it.

I just purchased a Nokia 5800 and I happened to notice that when i receive a text message, it does not show the name of the sender in the main screen. I have seen other Nokia phones and I am sure the phone must display the sender's name or number in the home screen as soon as the message arrives, but mine just says 1 New Message instead of 1 New Message from xyz. Are there any settings I need to change or is it this way itself in 5800?

And also it looks like it working in 16 bit color. It mostly noticeable when playing tron trailer. The black and grey color just look reddest. And the contrast seems set to very low. My old one, did not get this error.the color was so vivid.and the contrast was very good. The screen was so amazing, compare to mine.

1. When I opened web browser for 3-4 pages with music player and then went to menu(all programs still opened) screen still show contact bar and menu's icons didn't showed.

I recently bought a new Nokia lumia 710 & it's having a problem with it's screen. It's sreen flicker somtime when I switch off the screen with the Hardware button on top. The screen light keeps blinking but nothing is shown on the screen. Is that a hardware problem or a software issue??
