I am new to WP7 and Lumia 800. I found that all my calendars (google, livemail, exchange mail) can only show the past 2 weeks appointments in calendar.
e.g. today is 1/1, I can only see the earliest appointment on 18/12 (last 2nd Sunday)
World Edition 8830. Appointments older than a week are being deleted. Setting is to keep them Forever.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.I love the calendar and it an do everything I want it to do bar one thing. When I have appointments that run on the same day each week but then finishes at a certain time of the year the calendar won't save them. I keep getting a message saying something along the lines of the appointment being too long for the time given.
example. My daughter goes to gymnastics every monday between 4pm - 6pm. She started in August and the course finishes in october.I can add the appointment to the calendar, put how long the appt is for and say it's every monday. Then I cahnge the dates to the date the appt started (august) to the date it ends (october) and it won't save it. I had a blackberry before my nokia (yuck horrid thing) and could do it no problem with that and I don't see why the nokia can't do the same.
Am I doing something wrong? I've ended up just adding the appt from August saying every monday for specified length of time but it runs way over as I've put every monday so no end date. This means I'll have to delete it when the time s up and start again when the new dates happen. It's all well and fine to just delete the ones she is on holiday from but I never know when the next course starts back until near the end and I am a busy woman so need to know what's happening when etc in my life.
Which web based calenders can be syncronised with Lumina 920. My present Android phone can be syncronised with Google calender and that is very convinient.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia Lumia 610 second hand today and saw it working etc. However when I got it home and turned it on it wouldn't let me operate the phone properly. I scrolled up to find it asking for a password. Now the problem is, the person I bought the phone from is not answering his texts, calls or emails and it looks like he has sold me the phone and blocked it. Is there a way around this at all as I really like the phone and want to use it.

The sync process between iPhone and Outlook 2003 does not add new appointments entered in Outlook to transfer to iPhone. I have tried all the steps in Apple Support including uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. I have checked the boxes in iTunes - Device - Info - Advanced to "Replace information on this iPhone" "Calendars". Still no luck???

Just got my 1020 and set it up for both my Hotmail (Live) account and work (iMap). My problem is my Live account calendar shows but not my work one. As I don't use my personal calendar at all but do use my work one all the time it's a bit of a problem.how I get tit to sync to my work calendar?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have something weird, I think it's since the Nokia -Microsoft deal.. Since they (MS) release their update to the app.. The thing is if I take a photo and then when going through the app to the last photo I took it shows me the first photo I took who is in my gallery.. For example, of I take a photo and want to see it right after I took it by pressing the button in the Nokia camera app it will show me the first pic I took that is in the gallery.. And if I will wait for a while and the try it will show me the last photo that I took, or if I will go directly to the gallery..

I've tried literally everything. Multiple USBs and computers. Installing connectivity driver. Restart my phone and computers. When plugged in, the phone will only charge. There is no indication on the computer that a device has been connected (I checked Device Manager and it's nowhere to be found, not even under hidden items). When I plug it into my computer, it's the same as plugging it into a wall outlet. I've read tons of solutions online and tried them all. It makes me think that something has gone wrong with my phone. The issue isn't my computer's USB ports or even the USBs I've tried. It sounds like an issue with my phone. When I first purchased the phone, it was able to sync to the computer and I could transfer pictures from it.

I have previously succeeded with adding an artist image to an Mp3 file and transferring it to my Lumia 920. The image of the artist shows up in the Music+Videos section.
The problem now is when I go to Settings and Lock Screen options and choose to Show artist when playing music the artist image isn't showing up at locked screen! The screen turns in default grey color.
I am trying to download an app from obi but my lumia doesn't show up in the list of Nokia devices for selection.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy PC Sync has stopped synchronizing appointments.As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings.I synchronize appointments and contacts between my Nokia 6230i and Outlook 2007 via bluetooth.Contacts still work OK but when trying to synchronize appointments PC Sync just sits there saying "reading appointments" without proceeding.I can open up in Outlook the calendar I am synchronizing with.I have tried creating a new configuration through PC Sync but that does not resolve anything. The calendar I wish to synchronize up with does appear in the list of calendars to select.

Calendar entries made on my Mac still show up under the "PC Suite" calendar on the N8.
i recently bought Neo v and it's only 3 weeks old.When i use internet or speak for 20 min it gets heated like a boiler and I have updated my mobile to ICS.Feeling really very disappointed with it.When i asked my retailer about it he gives a wierd answer stating that every smart phone gets heated up quickly,but my friends who are using Neo V dosn't face this problem.It's really sad within 3 weeks i am facing this problem.
