Nokia Lumia :: Which Web Based Calendars Can Be Syncronised With 920
Jan 3, 2013
Which web based calenders can be syncronised with Lumina 920. My present Android phone can be syncronised with Google calender and that is very convinient.
I am new to WP7 and Lumia 800. I found that all my calendars (google, livemail, exchange mail) can only show the past 2 weeks appointments in calendar.
e.g. today is 1/1, I can only see the earliest appointment on 18/12 (last 2nd Sunday)
Anyway to change the vibration mode when I reach work based on my location? On bb10 , the geo profiles app did this perfectly. Change settings based on location.
Just got my 1020 and set it up for both my Hotmail (Live) account and work (iMap). My problem is my Live account calendar shows but not my work one. As I don't use my personal calendar at all but do use my work one all the time it's a bit of a problem.how I get tit to sync to my work calendar?
I bought my wife an E72 yeasterday. After we charged the battery up and turned it on, everything seemed to work alright. I set up the WLAN connection on my wireless at home, and I tested the use of Facebook, MySpace, etc. Her SIM card needs to be topped up, so the phone keeps saying "SIM Registration Failed." We're going to top it up this morning, so no worries about that. This morning she tried using the Facebook app, but instead of conecting via WLAN, it says "Connecting via IDEAS" which is the Singtel SIM card here in Singapore. I've manually connected to my Wifi network here, and even went to the connection manager to set the priority to 1. The app still doesn't connect via WLAN, and instead tries to use the SIM. When she does top up her card, this could be a quick money waster, especially when we have an abundance of Wifi connectivity so how do I get the web-based apps to use WLAN over anything else?
From the manual: When the GPS connection is active, marks your current or last known location on the map. If the icon's colours are faint,no GPS signal is available. If only cell ID based positioning is available, a red halo around the positioning icon indicates the general area you might be in. The accuracy of the estimate increases in densely populated areas.Im using newest firmware and newest Ovi Maps (free always) 3.03 and have downloaded the maps to my device (5800ME). Setting Maps only to go online on my acceptance. No problems so far.But when starting Ovi Maps the cell ID based positioning is using up mobile data traffic. I dont want that. Wait for an update or is there a setting?I guess AGPS always tries via mobil data - but in my country free GPS is perfectly enough.
I want to configure my mobile for GPS positioning through 2nd method i.e. Network based GPS. Can anyone tell me the process of configuring it. And please also tell me how to browse the GPS.I have tried all ways to accomplish the same, but hard luck.
I have the model Nokia 5233.It contains two methods of GPS1-BlueTooth GPS2-Network based GPSI want to configure my mobile for GPS positioning through 2nd method i.e. Network based GPS. Can anyone tell me the process of configuring it.
Recently, I've found this cellphone lying around in my brother's house, with the screen broken. He said it was a great phone till the screen cracked out of nowhere (touch area intact, lcd glass intact), and he didn't bother fixing it, bought the **bleep** bitten fruit phone.anyway, I brought it back to life two or three days ago. A new batt (actually, two - the normal battery and the clock's batt), a screen (cheap nowadays) and a lot of WD40 on the board, to flush out the oxidation. Had the v20 FW and I've updated it OTA to v60.0.003 (released 09-22-2011)
How to open java bassed site on nokia n8. When I try to open java based site on my n8 the following message appears "Please enable java in your browser". Here is the website link [URL].
Upgraded my Nokia N8-00 to Nokia Belle today. Everything is great - phone feels much faster, menus are speedier, looks are stunning, no hitches or data loss during upgrade (except for few applications like Fring which disappeared). So congratulations on your fabulous work on the Belle firmware!A big grouse however is the redesign of the Messaging application. I am used to seeing the good old folder-based view of Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. as soon as I open the Messaging app (I'm sure that's the case with most people). However, in Belle, when I open Messaging, I see all my messages from all folders in one place (arranged by date & time). This is very, very confusing and not pleasant at all, since messaging is one of the most important things done on a phone, even today.I know I can still see the folder-based view by clicking on the rightmost option in taskbar and selecting "View folders". But I don't want to be doing that everytime.
I am due to pick up a new iPhone today and I am unsure how I back up my Nokia N95, I have contacts, calendar and pictures? We have an Apple Mac at home if that helps?!! I'm a bit of a techno phobe and my husband is away so can't ask him.
When I first heard that Symbian^3 on the N8 would support multiple calendars I was under the impression that I finally could sync all my iCal calendars with my N8. But I just can't get this feature to work (iSync plug-in version is 2.0).
Calendar entries made on my Mac still show up under the "PC Suite" calendar on the N8.
I've just bought a 5230 and I'm really annoyed that I don't have the functionality my E51 had where if it was really dark the screen would dim down. This is an important thing to me since I tend to read at night and I dislike having to go all the way to settings and so on.
Do you know any piece of software that could change screen brightness based on the light sensor readings?I'm just amazed the phone software doesn't do that on its own but hey s60v5 is worse than s60v3...
So I have a Lollipop updated D6633. From what I understand Sony got rid of the Location based wifi support with the new Lollipop release. However I keep on getting an error message every so often as attached, showing that location based wifi has stopped. I also attach what I think is a logcat.
Is there any program out there for the blackberry that will automatically switch on the bluetooth when the device is charged (eg plugged into the car charger)?.I tried to google around but can only find the solution for Windows Mobile phones. If there's a program that will do that, that'll be great since I'm only using the bluetooth for handsfree when i'm driving.
Is there any way to see where an iPhone last connected to the internet? My iPhone was stolen and I'm trying to find it. I can see the data usage on my AT&T account after the time of the theft, is there a way to find where it connected at?
I know this is probably far fetched, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I'm looking for an app or setting that will ring or vibrate my phone depending on who calls/texts. To be more clear -- When I'm asleep, I don't want to wake up for every stupid person that drunk dials me, etc, however I do want to wake up if I get a call from work. Is there a way to have my phone ring with sound if it's a call or text from my boss, but vibrate if it's someone else?
I can only get incoming emails.I want to sync all folders (and be able to access sent emails on my bb), and have the sent emails show up on the computer also. The email account is a web-based email (roadrunner.com), and I am not using BES.
My SI no is 1247-8404. I am from India. I haven't purchased this phone from India. If ics update is based on network carrier and country then why am I not getting this update?Let me know if 1247-8404 is in your update list, I can't wait long and 1247-8404 belongs to which country?
I love Smart Actions, when set-up correctly, it truly makes my smartphone, a smart phone. I do have a question though. Why is it that WiFi MUST be enabled to use location services, and is there anyway to use location services to turn off WiFi when I'm not in range of a usable network? I have WiFi at work and home, but when I'm not at work or home (driving for example) my phone is constantly searching for wifi. Considering that I'm on the road a lot and I go to school at night, that's a lot of time that my phone is both on 4G and Wifi, which almost defeats the purpose of a battery-saving app.
i've never got to make location based reminders to work on my iPhone 5s on iOS 8. It did not work either on iOS 7 and ir surely didn't on my old iOS6 iPhone 4. i have everything turned on under location services ..
