BB Storm :: Notifier For Company Based Gmail?
Jul 7, 2011when i get an email from the company based gmail acct there is no notifier chirp my personal email the text sms and the rest all notify?

Motorola Photon 4G :: It Does Not Sync Calendar, Contact, Gmail With Company Gmail Account
Oct 28, 2011My Photon 4 G does not sync calendar, contact, Gmail with my company Gmail account. I believe that it just stopped syncing last week and I believe that it was following a Motorola update, but cannot say for sure. Under Data Delivery, both Background Data and Data enabled are checked green. However, this is interesting because Email and corporate sync is grayed out on that screen. When I go to Account, checking the sync options is not possible, but I can do a manual sync. Please note, at one time, these options to sync Contacts, Gmail and Calendar were available. I've pulled the batter. I really do not want to reset to factory default. Suggestions? (Please note this is a company Gmail account, not just regular Gmail.)

BB Storm :: Company Email Through Exchange?
Jul 17, 2012I have tried every way possible to get my storm 2 to activate with my company email and will not connect? I talked with my IT department and they have supplied us with all the information. It wants an exchange URL, and I have provided that URL for outlook web access and the server and will not accept it. My IT does not have an answer and neither does Verizon.

Sep 20, 2012I have two emails on my phone that I set up through the Blackberry website. My calendar has always defaulted to the first email. If I remove that email I fear my calendar will be empty except for the fact that it is saved on GMAIL. if I do remove the the first email and loose the calendar will the calendar be replaced on my next Sync with GMAIL?

May 31, 2010Have used my gmail accounts on my BB for years without problem. Recently , I changed the password for one of my accounts and since then I have been unable to access this account via BB. I went in to Set up, email settings & entered new password & I get error ("Invalid email address or password. If error persists contact gmail") Tried deleting the email account on BB & entering as a new account, error still comes up. Went to gmail to authorize Applications & sites, requested a password, entered it twice. Once with spaces & again without spaces. Still get the error.

However, I can only send emails to contacts with a saved email address or reply to emails that have come to my inbox. for example, I receive an email from a friend, I can reply just fine. My listed email accounts include my Gmail account, but the text is red and it says "Invalid Account. BB Storm 9500 :: Gmail On Home Screen Freezes Phone - Tried Battery Pull
Jul 18, 2010I have two email accounts on my storm, both Gmail. On account A, I can click on the symbol on the homescreen and open up the inbox and check my messages. Everything works normally.
On account B, I try to click on the inbox in the homescreen and my BB freezes. After I touch/click on the inbox and try to open it, the whole screen freezes and it won't respond to my touch, even if I hit the escape or BB buttons. If I hit the End (red) button, everything starts back normally. Also, if I hit the send (green) button, the phone app pops up and everything works again.Anybody have any ideas? I tried a battery pull and that didn't seem to work, neither did resetting the host routing table or service log.

It's one thing that drives me nuts because the OS interface is placing an SMS notifier saying I have a new one, I see that I have one new message, I hover over the SMS icon on the home screen and it has a prefix (1). I deleted ALL sms msgs and it's still telling me I have one. What do I do? This happened after I did a backup and restore. Maybe because I had an unread SMS before restoring data from my old 8330?

Dec 8, 2010I've got a new Blackberry Torch 9800 that was issued to me by my company. Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.

Aug 20, 2010I use my BB for personal use only. The email account I have registered on the phone is my gmail account. Just today, I noticed I can no longer send (compose new or reply) emails using this account on my phone. I get the following message in the email I attempt to send:
message status message included an invalid address
I can receieve my gmail messages on my phone no problem. My gmail account login information is correct on the phone.
I've tried searching for this problem but what I find always seems to be related to enterprise configurations using an Exchange Server and the fix was for the Exchange server. That doesn't fit my scenario.
