Nov 8, 2011Recently, I've found this cellphone lying around in my brother's house, with the screen broken. He said it was a great phone till the screen cracked out of nowhere (touch area intact, lcd glass intact), and he didn't bother fixing it, bought the **bleep** bitten fruit phone.anyway, I brought it back to life two or three days ago. A new batt (actually, two - the normal battery and the clock's batt), a screen (cheap nowadays) and a lot of WD40 on the board, to flush out the oxidation. Had the v20 FW and I've updated it OTA to v60.0.003 (released 09-22-2011)

Jul 26, 2012I am using Blackberry 9900 smartphone with OS version7.0 Bundle 1346 (V7.0.0.261, Platform 5.0.0.464)and i was initially able to connect to internet via apps and browser but after a while, i am unable to connect to internet via the application in the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, What's App and etc. I try 3G and wifi with no success but weird thing is i am still able to do web browsing via the blackberry native web browser. Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Then i will be able to use it for 5-8 hours where this problem will happen again.

Aug 1, 2011When i touch my browser icon or my STL cardinals baseball app icon or anything that has to connect to the internet(accept FB icon, that one works) my phone will do nothing, and i have to press the back key just to use screen. take the battery out and put it back in, that only works for about 2-10 hours before it wont connect again.

Turning the phone off and on doesn't help and the failing applications aren't there in Settings > Applications > Running Services, so I've performed Factory Data Reset, not SD card, then done all my settings again. This is really bugging me.
The phone is up to date, with Android version 2.3.4

May 4, 2015So I have a Lollipop updated D6633. From what I understand Sony got rid of the Location based wifi support with the new Lollipop release. However I keep on getting an error message every so often as attached, showing that location based wifi has stopped. I also attach what I think is a logcat.
