Xperia X10 :: Unable To Use Internet Since Upgrade To Gingerbread

i recently upgraded to gingerbread with no problems. however, since the upgrade, i have not being able to access the internet or use any internet based apps without WI-FI. can anyone help solve the problem? by the way does any one know how to get back that handy settings bar (screen two , the one where you could just click on the blue tooth, wifi, GPS and brightness settings without going thriugh the settings menu.

My worst fear has happened, my flash attempt failed and I have a wiped phone now. All I get when I turn on is a yellow image in the bottom 1/3 of screen. I know I was warned this may happen..
Message at the very end of download was "flash aborted", unplug, go to applications and turn on debugger which I did, now I'm dead in the water.

I upgraded yesterday, and the only issue I seem to have is not being able to dial directly from my browser.
I did a search from Google for Walgreens in my local area. After finding the number, the browser shows the phone number in a "gray" box. When I click the link for the phone number, my dialer pops up, but ther number doesn't carry off.

After installing the Gingerbread upgrade, I don't see a Settings > Call Settings > Accounts option like in this video. Is the native Gingerbread SIP client not part of the 1.3.232 upgrade? Or have I just not found it on my device?

Has anyone else got Mobile Hotspot to work? I've got an A953 (UK unlocked) and it upgraded to Gingerbread fine, and I can connect to the Internet on the phone.When I start Mobile Hotspot, my laptop can see the phone and connect to it (receive an IP address by DHCP). However I can't connect through the phone to the rest of the Internet.Does it have something to do with me being on T-Mobile USA? Unfortunately I'm not really able to test other options, but it would be good to know if it work successfully for others.

I just upgraded to Gingerbread and can't figure out how to set up Corporate Sync. In Froyo there was a place to enter the mail server URL but that doesn't exist in Gingerbread. Since we have multiple mail servers, I think that entry is required. I've tried every combination of domain, username and password I can think might work but I always get an "invalid login" error.

I decided to upgrade my phone to the 2.1 upgrade. I was tired of getting the run around from AT&T about when this would get updated and now I see 2.3 is coming out and there is still no update info from AT&T. Well I ran into a problem. First of all I didn't backup the phone before I ran the flash (idiot mistake) I ran the flash and everything seemed fine until it rebooted. Got the camera and the little arrow waited for that to go thru and the phone now keeps restarting itself.

My phone reminds me that I need a software upgrade, and every time I go to upgrade it, it never completes. I have upgraded the PC Companion to the latest version, then I have my phone plugged in, go to upgrade it, it will "Prepare" it, but before the update, when you have to unplug your phone, turn it off, and plug it back it, the update doesn't continue!

I bought my Xperia ray from my friend 2 or 3 weeks ago.I think it was rooted by him.today while i was checking my emails I saw a notification which tells me update your firmware. I tried to do that,after some reboots it shows me an error. unable to upgrade.I read some thread here, then I try again to upgrade it by the use of my computer but again SONY upgrade sofware shows me this error "your phone contains modified software and it cannot be updated"I dont know what should i do. you know i'm not that much professional in this field

just upgraded to ics yesterday and now im unable to connect to android market and im having issues with the connection using wifi.google market apps and other apps does not connect to internet using wifi. the only apps albe to connect till now are Internet, gmail and the built in web browser. if i use any third party browser like opera.no connection at all. got message "connection timedout" tested the same apps with data connection and just works fine. the issue is only while using wifi.already performed a repair using pc compagnion.

have the X8 and I can't upgrade to 2.1. My PC Companion keeps telling me I have the most up to date version when I clearly don't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PC companion and when this didn't work I uninstalled it again and redownloaded the must current version from SE website. It still tells me my 1.6 is the most up to date.

I'm having issues upgrading the Xperia X8 to android 2.1 in both PC Companion and the Update Software. I've tried them both in Safe mode with networking and that doesn't work either.The software update application fails to recognise the device and PC companion always says that it has failed to download the update and to "try again alter".

I am from Pune (India). I read that Android 2.1 is available for my Xperia X10 mini pro. But I am not able to see it thru PC Companion. On phone, if i go vto 'software update' page and let it search, it says that software update is available on phone. But, PC companion says 'your phone is up to date'. What is this? Pls resolve. I bought the x10 mini pro just before christmas and am having trouble trying to upgrade to android 2,1. I have checked the firmware version on the phone and it says version 1.6. I have downloaded the latest version of pc companion and update service and when i connect to update it says i am running the latest software. I am unable to send files via bluetooth so must definatley still be running 1.6. can anyone help me and advise me how i can upgrade from 1.6 to 2.1?

First of all, sorry in advance for any mistakes, because I just crated my account here.I just tried to update Android 2.1. As I correctly followed the steps from PC Companion, still the firmware version shows 1.6 version. The only change that I saw in my mobile was the Backup and Restore was added to my home screen.My questions are:
If I beckup my files would the software will update to 2.1 version?Even if I try to update the software through PC Companion, is it necessary that the software have to be available in my country ?Btw, I am using T-mobile operator in Macedonia (FYROM).

Recently I have updated my X10 mini to Android 2.1. Every thing seems working fine except the Android Market app. I can search, and browse Android Market. But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market. The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused". I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key. No luck by booting either.

unable to charge my Neo V after ICS upgrade.earlier with gingerbread i was able to connect the phone to any pc at work or home and phone use to get charged.However now i can charge the phone on personal computer but when i connect the phone on work computer its asks for phone software installation, which i cannot due to secuirty rights.
