May 30, 2012How come i cannot get the internet application to just start on my homepage. verytime i press the back button it keeps returning to the page that i left it on!

HTC Sensation XE :: Install Application From PC?
May 7, 2012How to install a application or app by using PC to sensation XE?
In the HTC manual it says... And Installing an app from your computer to HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio If you have application files (*.apk) on your computer, you can use HTC Sync to install them to HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio. We strongly recommend you install only applications that you trust. Before you begin, make sure that HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio is set to allow applications from your computer to be installed toHTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio. To do this, press while on the Home screen, tap Settings > Applications, and then select the Unknown sources check box.
1. On the Device panel, click Overview.
2. Click Application installer.
3. Browse for the application file on your computer, and then click Open. The installation process starts on HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio.
4. Check the screen on HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio to see if there are additional instructions to complete the installation.
5. After installation is complete, you can click Disconnect.
6. Safely remove HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio as required by your computer's operating system.
This is something i'm not able to follow, haven't got Overview in the device panel

I also have the latest version of HTC Sync and HTC USB Drivers installed on my laptop running Windows 7.When I connect the mobile to the laptop and select the Internet Pass-Through option, it says that the same is active on the mobile, but I cannot access any internet on the mobile. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall HTC Sync and all drivers a couple of times already, but still not working.

Jan 27, 2012I've just flashed my phone and installed android 4.0 on my sensation. The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

Jul 20, 2011I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.

Jan 22, 2010Every time I try to use an app that requires the internet, one of two messages constantly pop up, sometimes even both. I have the application permissions set to allow. One message is, "The application slacker_radio has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy." I can only click 'ok' after that. The other message is, "The application (any one of them) has requested a http connection to (whichever site it uses)" Then is has choices: 'Do not ask for http' and 'Do not ask for http to (whichever site it uses)' The second choice is checked by default. I've tried checking both and either box singely. Again, all the application permissions are set to allow for these apps. I've tried Slacker, Poynt, Scoremobile, Weatherbug, and . I didnt bother trying any other app.

Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Then i will be able to use it for 5-8 hours where this problem will happen again.

Aug 22, 2010I have problem as some application install on my nokia 5800 (or may be symbian) is connecting to internet without my knowledge. I would like to identify it as it making same unwanted connection which are cost for my. For now I have walk around and enforce my phone to ask for password before each connection but it make using Nokia 5800 a little bit annoying. What is more I have checked task manger and I have no application there so it may be or MFC either some other nokia native application (but it is my supposed only).

Aug 14, 2010With no internet or app usage my phone was to 30 percent after only a hour maybe a hour and half of usage. Not even close to the 4.5 hours of usage said. Complained to Verizon and getting the Tour 9630. Not too happy because i will be leaving the trackpad and i hear battery life on the tour is so so. I wanted the new bold but they wouldnt let me. But they said if my new phone gives me problems, then might get the bold. Either way i want a good phone with decent battery.
