I've just flashed my phone and installed android 4.0 on my sensation. The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.
I tried using HTC Sync but I always receive an error that says "Fail to mount/unmount device storage card. (1020)". I can't believe a phone this expensive makes this process so difficult.
i need help with my phone. I have the HTC sensation XE beats. The screen is completely black but it starts up and charge light comes on when on charge. Is there anything i can do. My phone provider wont help me and want me to pay a fee if they say its my fault.
I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.
When the telephone is in use, there is no sound or vibrating notification for sms, mail and so on. Is this a bug, failure or just bad work from HTC. My Sensation is full of bugs that HTC can/will not fix.
I have a desktop cradle and have upgraded to Android 4.0.3, and now the power consumption when in the cradle is so high that charging from USB is not always enough to avoid the battery running out of power. (And I'm even connected to a USB hub with separate power supply.)
Ive just got a sensation from O2 and had it replaced in the last few days due to a muffled sound from the mic. thats sorted. However a problem that was with the first handset i have noticed in the replacement as well.....I recorded a video of my little one.....however when playing this back there is a crackling sound every time anyone speaks or there is any loud noise.
I have a Calypso SP bluetooth headphone. My phone shows it's connected to the device but the sound from music player still come out from the main speaker. When i got the sound to the headphone, there's this crackling sound coming out. I have tried pairing and unpairing the device a few times, but the results are still the same. It doesn't have any problem when paired with my galaxy s.
I bought htc sensation few weeks back. This morning when i turned on the Wi-fi, the phone became unresponsive. The phone is on and displaying "android" on the screen. No other function working, nor i'm able to turn it off.
I was wondering if anyone had a problem with their HTC Sensation over heating? Sometimes I will pick up my phone and it will be really hot. Also the battery will be drained. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, I called t mobile and they said I needed to go buy a new battery.
I bought the Sensation yesterday, discharged it, than fully charged it. I took out the battery now the replace the memory card, and the phone won't start.
I have had my sensation for over a week now. When I log out of some apps Sense often has to reload and takes around 5 seconds or more. This is happening daily. I have tried force quitting all non-essential apps then starting an app again to see if it still happens, it still does. It can happen with various app, such as maps, location, navigation, Firefox and others. I'm wondering if too much RAM is being used and Sense has to shut down then reload. I am keeping my usage to a minimum and not streaming any radio or so forth.
I have just got my Sensation and am really impressed with it's overall functionality. One of the problems for me is that I just want access to my contacts list without the People >favourites screen. In other words how do I get a one tap option to my contacts list?
When i go to my messages it doesnt load them...It just says loading. I left it loading all of last night and found that it was still loading when i woke up!
In the last couple of days I have stopped receiving delivery reports from my text messages. I have checked the relevant settings and everything seems to be ticked. I am on O2 Ireland. Is there something obvious that I am missing.
1. SKYPE has only 1 color and that is the Incredible Hulk color... "GREEN"!!2. when Im charging my phone either via USB or AC outlet, the I cont use the touch screen properly, buttons works fine thou, but I love browsing, downloading, playing, texting, doing something on my social network site (FB/Tweeter) when I try to open/swipe something from the screen "it does something else" like when I tried to turn the carousel sense from left/right it instantly open some random apps from the current page of my carousel ...3. when I to play some mp3 on my phone using audio beats ear piece (bundled) the bass is not good compare to GB... and I guarantee my ears are clean!!downgrade my phone... I love my phone the way it was before... maybe i'll upgrade to ICS soon but not now.. (as soon it get stable as GB)
My HTC Sensation XL keeps on freezing after about 15 seconds when not being used. The only way i can get the phone to work is by taking out the battery and putting it back in. If i am playing music or on facebook it does not freeze, but as soon as i stop using it it freezes
My HTC Sensation (Android 2.3.4) with Sense UI 3.0, is having problems with its Sense. Every now and then when I return to my home screens, the UI will reload itself. I first noticed this after playing a game, and I figured it would be to save memory it unloads it, or something, but now I also notice it after being in the mail app, or even the settings. As soon as I press the home button, it completely reloads the Sense UI, as if it crashed.
Recently, after cracking the screen on my HTC Sensation, I decided to have a go at replacing it myself. After changing the digitizer, the screen seemed to work ok however, the SIM card and the SD card are nolonger detected when inserted. I've tried numerous SIM cards, and none work (in other words, it's nothing to do with the SIM card nor the SIM card holder!). Everything else seems to work fine.
I disassembled/reassembled the phone again with the same result. From what I can tell, all four of the flexi connectors are correctly engaged.I performed a factory reset on the phone with the same result.I've inspected the flexi's/PCB's under a microscope and can see no component/flexi/PCB damage.I've blown the insides out with air to remove any potential debris shorts. All of the disassembly was performed on an ESD mat with ESD strap, so I don't think I've done any static damage.
I have converted from iPhone 4 to the HTC Sensation. The only things I don't like is the message preview, I cannot find anywhere on how to change it so it doesn't display anything as my messages are private and I do not want other people seeing the first part of them. Ive tried a 3rd party app called handscent but didn't like it. Also is it possible to make message tones so the phone vibrates more than once?
my XE has not been updating software, still at vers 2.3.4. I've tried manually checking for updates, however it just shows "checking..." for the longest time.
My problem is when i try to connect to HTC server from my phone(HTC Hub for example) it said that my email or password are wrong but that's not the case.
