HTC Sensation :: Displaying "android" On The Screen?
Mar 15, 2012
I bought htc sensation few weeks back. This morning when i turned on the Wi-fi, the phone became unresponsive. The phone is on and displaying "android" on the screen. No other function working, nor i'm able to turn it off.
I've just flashed my phone and installed android 4.0 on my sensation. The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.
i need help with my phone. I have the HTC sensation XE beats. The screen is completely black but it starts up and charge light comes on when on charge. Is there anything i can do. My phone provider wont help me and want me to pay a fee if they say its my fault.
I have a desktop cradle and have upgraded to Android 4.0.3, and now the power consumption when in the cradle is so high that charging from USB is not always enough to avoid the battery running out of power. (And I'm even connected to a USB hub with separate power supply.)
I tried using HTC Sync but I always receive an error that says "Fail to mount/unmount device storage card. (1020)". I can't believe a phone this expensive makes this process so difficult.
I have had my Sensation for about 6 months now. I am having significant problems with it. It is very slow and it continually resets to the white HTC screen screen and proceeds to reload. This happens when simply trying to touch the "home" key or the back key.
I cannot resolve the problem. I have removed all apps.
I've got an issue with a HTC Sensation. The touchscreen will not unlock whatsoever. The phone turns on fine, new notifications pop up on the top bar and the screen on/off button at the top works fine, but the silver ring at the bottom will not pull up to unlock.
This happened afew weeks ago, I took out the battery, left it out for a few hours, put it back in, did a factory reset and it worked. I've since installed a few more apps and accordingly, the screen does not work at all, I've tried pulling the battery but to no avail, nothing will work, I'm still getting messages through and phone calls but can't unlock the screen to answer!
Does anyone know of any way to bypass the lock screen at start-up so I can just do a factory reset again??? I have tried starting up in safe mode, but this doesn't work.
I've HTC Sensation Z710e, screen becomes unresponsive very often. Whenever i switch on by pressing the button at top, sometimes it become unresponsive. Sometimes by pressing 5-15 times it becomes responsive. But, some time i have to remove the battery and start again to put it into active mode. I really don't know about this problem. I also did factory reset but in vain.
I somehow lost the phone shortcut on the lock screen (the most right one). I try to go to personal -> Lock Screen -> Settings -> Tap on the shortcut to assign an app. The problem is, there is no "Phone" app to select.
I have had the sensation XE for a month or more now and did not face any problems. Have not installed anything other than from market. Day before yestersday night, i went to sleep with my phone at 60% battery left and alarms turned on for 6:00AM. When the alarm started ringing i saw that the screen was grey in color and could not turn the screen on, nor could see anything at all. I pressed the power button, but it turns off the alarm but the screen still stays grey but nothing is visible. The power button also does not help to switch off the phone neither does the volume keys help. I have to remove the battery and reinsert it to get the phone back to work. and when i switch it on again the battery is still 45%. I wrote to HTC service center and they asked me to do a master reset. I did, twice, but the problem still exists. Its so random that i cannot predict What triggers this. It happend once when i was doing nothing and nothind went off ( alaram, or call or message)
I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.
It takes me 7 tries to unlock the phone and then the screen doesn't want to work when I tap on it. I'm on my 3rd htc sensation the first two had the same problem htc really needs to fix these problems . I called htc yesterday to tell them all my problems and they told me I was only the second person to call about it.
my sensation xe always dims the screen when i turn it portrait to view video when in Internet or streaming from internet. i can't find a setting in any of the phones own settings or in Internet or internet settings to correct this.
Basically I'm having some issues with my HTC Sensation, and I was just wondering if it was a common problem or if it's completely unheard of. What's happening is that whenever I press the home button on the bottom of the handset, it will take a screen capture (even when I don't press the lock button). It's kinda tempremental, however it's doing it about 3 times a day...and the only way to stop it is by restarting the phone!I have done a factory reset on the phone and updated all its software but that hasen't seemed to in the slightest.
I may make a fool of my self (I have the e72 for only one day) but I have a problem with the clock, I the home screen I have the big clock in the upper left corner and a small one down in the right near the camera shortcut, I may activate my self, but know I don't know how to deactivate the little one in the right.
Some time when the phone is long in standby and when I use the phone it can't go to home screen. Then I need to hold down the menu button and select home screen, if I don't do this it wont go to home screen. Please help
I have gone to Options, Owner Information and typed it in.I then pressed the menu button and save. But when I lock my screen (by pressing star) the owner info doesn't show on screen?
i have a blackberry 8220,when i try taking photos the screen keeps on displaying......."could not start the camera.close other applications and try opening the camera again"...
Somedays ago the keyboard on my screen stopped displaying, then one day my phone started deleting data and I had to take the battery out to stop it., and when I put it back again there is no screen display..
I cannot listen to my voicemail from my phone. It shows 0:00 of 0:00. I can see the voicemails on the screen but cannot listen to them from the voicemail screen. I have to call my number to hear them.
Hi, My Blackberry curve is displaying a white screen only, can't see anything to navigate etc... Although if I ring my phone, the light inthe corner flashes but it doesn't actually ring...I can answer my phone & there is a perfect connection..I can also dial a number & call out on it. I can't text or access anything on my at all.
i am having serious problems with my display, especially after it times out, i have to press the power button several times sometimes even up to 10 times to trigger the slider bar so i can get back into my phone. Also when a call comes thru the screen does not light up or display the answer/busy slider bar?
As the title says really. Outlook calendar is listed as the main item to show detailed status but no calendar items ever show on the glance screen or the lock screen.
My iPhone 4S has been constantly displaying the ringer volume since this morning. I have tried turning off my phone and turning it back on, resetting my phone, syncing it to iTunes, and pretty much everything else. Everything is functioning correctly, and I'm able to navigate my phone normally, but it's an inconvenience to have to try to look at the things on my screen through the ringer volume notification.
I have switched off the phone. After 5 minutes I cant able to switch on it. Screen is not displaying. I have just bought this Nokia Asha 200 14 days before from Nokia Priority Dealer.
