I have had my sensation for over a week now. When I log out of some apps Sense often has to reload and takes around 5 seconds or more. This is happening daily. I have tried force quitting all non-essential apps then starting an app again to see if it still happens, it still does. It can happen with various app, such as maps, location, navigation, Firefox and others. I'm wondering if too much RAM is being used and Sense has to shut down then reload. I am keeping my usage to a minimum and not streaming any radio or so forth.
My HTC Sensation (Android 2.3.4) with Sense UI 3.0, is having problems with its Sense. Every now and then when I return to my home screens, the UI will reload itself. I first noticed this after playing a game, and I figured it would be to save memory it unloads it, or something, but now I also notice it after being in the mail app, or even the settings. As soon as I press the home button, it completely reloads the Sense UI, as if it crashed.
I've just flashed my phone and installed android 4.0 on my sensation. The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.
I tried using HTC Sync but I always receive an error that says "Fail to mount/unmount device storage card. (1020)". I can't believe a phone this expensive makes this process so difficult.
i need help with my phone. I have the HTC sensation XE beats. The screen is completely black but it starts up and charge light comes on when on charge. Is there anything i can do. My phone provider wont help me and want me to pay a fee if they say its my fault.
I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.
I have been given an 4S by a cousin who somehow loaded a weird Chinese UI on his brand new 4S. iTunes does not recognize this device at all, and I am at a los on how to wipe this phone clean and reload iOS. This phone has never been activated. Its just a case of a teenager messing aound and screwing up a perfectly good new phone. Any ideas PLEASE???
So I've been using Apex launcher and Chrome is my preferred browser. However, I really don't like the Chrome icon and prefer the Sense Internet Icon. On Apex I can edit the Chrome Icon and change it - which I've done.
It only changes the icon in Apex. On my lock-screen, Chrome still has it's original icon. I presume this is because the lock-screen is still on Sense and not controlled by Apex.
I want to registered online with HTC sense, and got to the step where it asks me to login with my phone.i've gone to Setup on my phone where it said to go, saying that I should login when the HTC Sense screen comes up. However, no HTC Sense comes up during the setup?I've also tried going to HTC Sense website through the phone's browser, but it just has the loading screen constantly cycling through / msg appears that try again. The phone is an HTC ChaCha?
So I woke up and found that my M8 annoyingly has my FB friends birthdays in the Sense 6 calendar. How do I get rid of them? I can't find any settings in the calendar or Facebook apps.
For some reason, my phone can't connect to the HTC Sense server. HTC Likes can't connect, I can't get details on apps from HTC Hub, etc. Also, I can't locate my phone on HTCSense.com I've had my phone for over a month

I've also tried going to HTC Sense website through the phone's browser, but it just has the loading screen constantly cycling through? The phone is an HTC Desire, I'm on Orange (UK) and the OS is Android 2.2.
Lost my Desire HD yesterday, lovely insurance guys over at Geeksquad replaced it with a shiny new one today.I have connected it to my Sense account but it isnt pulling down any of my phone contacts.Did a bit of searching on here and swaw lots of other people having issues with DHD vs Sense and locations etc... not sure if the same issues affect contact sync?
My bb bold keeps continually reloading and closing down and has been doing this for the last 4 hours. I have tried taking out the battery but this makes no difference.
I have a BB Curve 8530 and I recently did the OS upgrade. I haven't had any need to use the App world in a while, and I know it was previously loaded on my BB before the upgrade. I went looking for it today, and it's completely disappeared. I looked in Options > Applications, and found it in the Add-on section, and it says it was installed in March. However, I don't know how to find it. where it might be hidden, and how I can get it back and working again?
I think I must be going potty, but I can't seem to be able to select multiple images in the HTC Gallery app since the (shonky and unreliable as hell) 4.3 update.
After updating to Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 my Exchange Push Mail does not work anymore. It asks me for my password which it does not seem to accept. The only fix sofar reported is to perform a Factory Reset.
how to reload an email addresses, I loaded the address in my phone and it worked for one day then stopped synchronization, I did everything suggested but in the end I had to remove the addresses, and try to reload them, one went in and is now working correctly the others keep being rejected.
My bb frozen up this morning so I turned it off and took out the battery, now when ever I put the battery back the little red light just comes on and the startup screen keeps reloading and that's about it.
Just wondering if there are multiple steps involved, or will you be prompted on how to recover your data from SD card. I am wondering because my update centre is showing Android 5.0 ready for download, but I want to back up my data to my SD card and do a factory reset before downloading the update.
I updated my phone (Incredible S) a couple of days ago to HTC Sense 3.0. I was pretty keen on it and I quite like the animations, however it didn't take me long to realise that it's a battery killer. After charging my phone overnight, I used to go to work and come back in the evening with 70% or more of the battery left. Now after the update, I can barely pull it off with 50% left, and I haven't changed my usage habits at all. I gave up hopes of downgrading back to the previous version, so I'm hoping for an update to HTC Sense 3.5, which from what I read seems to be more efficient.
I'm not really up for changing launcher though so I suppose there's not much I can do apart from that.
I have a problem with my device the touch screen doesn't sense the input. I think it will be a digitizer issue so I kept switch off for two days after that I tried to check it and weird its working fine. After I use it for two more days again the same problem (touch didn't sense) appears?
My curve 8310 that i got yrseterday keeps frezzing every 2 min it was on 02 and i had it unlocked to use on vodafone i have put the latest os on and tried the next one down but as soon as i put the phone down for longer then 1 min it will just frezze on the trackerball but i can press the caps lock and the num lock and they work .ive treid wipeing the phone on bbsak and then loading the os then doing the security wipe but it still frezzez up on me i cant think what else to do
In my thread of "application installation issues", it seems to be determined that my carrier who I got the phone from, is blocking the install of applications as I get a 910 error, application authorization failure, when i try to install an application from: [URL]. After some searching, I've come across BBSAK, which I use to wipe the phone and reload the oS. I've also come across the tool "vendelete" which deletes the vendor.xml files.
So I do the following: 1. Uninstall the original carrier OS from pc. 2. Install OS from different carrier to pc. 3. Use vendelete to get rid of the xml files which it says no xml files were found. 4. Use bbsak to wipe the oS. 5. Reload the OS.
But when the phone boots up, it still shows the sign of the carrier which I don't want, so I presume nothing has been updated? since when I try to install the application again, I still get the 910 error.
How do I stop apps from reloading every time I unlock my iPhone? I have an iPhone 4 and at least 95% of the time I unlock it, some apps act as though they are reinstalling. It only lasts for about 3 seconds if that but it makes me feel like something is wrong with it.
