I have a problem with my device the touch screen doesn't sense the input. I think it will be a digitizer issue so I kept switch off for two days after that I tried to check it and weird its working fine. After I use it for two more days again the same problem (touch didn't sense) appears?

View 25 Replies View RelatedMy wife has bought a second-hand C3-01 Touch and Type, but she can't use it at all. When she puts her SIM in the phone and turns it on, it comes up with "Vodafone OK", after a while the screen displays "unlock" but she can't unlock it. Basically, it appears the touchscreen doesn't work. Are there any suggestions as to what may be wrong? It would appear the phone did work previously - the owner rather foolishly left a set of contacts on it (visible when the phone starts up) so it was working for them to do that. Could it be a settings issue?

I tried to power off the phone, extract the battery, but when I try to power on, It shows the PIN request screen, but I can't introduce any code because the screen keyboard is not working. I tried to remove the SIM card, and power on the phone. Now it shows the home screen, but the display is again unresponsive. The physical buttons works for a while, but after a few minutes the phone hangs permanently. The only way to shut off the phone is removing the battery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to the new Bold 9930 and I'm experiencing intermittent issues with the touch screen where it appears to have a mind of its own. Specifically the cursor will randomly scroll up without user input. Sometimes it's a line or two but usually it's all the way back to the top of the content currently being displayed on the screen.
That is to say that I was doing something to make it happen like touching the screen with multiple fingers but I have observed the actions with absolutely no contact with the screen so it can't be inadvertent touching. Then I thought that it might be the screen protector I installed.
I use the Invisible Shield products by Zagg so I uninstalled the screen protector and carefully cleaned the screen with a microfiber cloth but it continues to randomly scroll. I have no apps installed other than what the phone came with and I have tried with and without a memory card installed but the random behavior continues.
I am using the E72 in Asia.
A few things that i discovered and its bad! Comparing to E71, E72 is very bad. By the way, this is the second E72 i am using. I bought one before, same issue, now the secound one, Same ISSUE again!
Here are the problems: I need to type in Chinese (pinyin) but whenever the language is switched to Chinese input, the calculator does not allow me to input decimal (how bad this is!).
Also in Chinese mode, once back to English input, the SPACE bar input is NOT WORKING. The only way is to restart the damm phone.
Since this morning i experience the problem that when i switch my phone on i cannot use the touchscreen. No input is accepted. When i switch the phone off and remove the battery and then switch it on the problem dissapears...

View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery time i end a call, i can see the phone is allways doing something else, like browsing the web, or opening the gps aplication. Last but not list, for several times and unexpectedly i hold the call, or i end it by mistake.
I'm sure this happens because i keep telling it to do it (with my face touching the screen, during the calls!!!)
The phone have those 3 physical buttons on the bottom, (the red one, the green one and the menu one) and lets face it, those are the same 3 buttons existing in all nokia non-touchscreen phones).
So, two questions:
a) With those 3 buttons, why do i need the touch screen during a call??
b) Is there any option or aplication or trick to automatically lock the screen on the moment i start a call (incoming or outgoing) and unlock it when i end the call?
what is the difference between capacitive touchscreen and capacitive multipoint touchscreen. c6-01 has former and 701 has later. What difference does it make in usability?

yesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... However, this week I was at work and I'm pretty sure the phone died. The red light stayed on, and when I was charging it in my car, it wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't turn on for 2 days, other than the white screen with the battery. I did a few battery pulls and left it plugged in. Now, it turns on when it wants to but the touchscreen realizes that my finger is there, but it doesn't click. What should I do? I took it to verizon and since I don't have insurance on it, they won't give me a new one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'v had my Xperia play for exactly a month, today, and just yesterday night I've encountered a problem where about 2/3s down from the top of the screen there a small area from the left side to the right side of the touch screen that doesn't respond. I can't use my Swype feature, and when I switch to the regular Android keyboard I can't hit the "O"button because of it's location (Area where the screen doesn't respond when its vertical or horizontal).
I've been doing some internet hunting and the closest name I've gotten close to is "dead zone"
My touchscreen frequently doesn't register my input in either swype or normal modes. This seems to happen primarily when searching contacts. Swype may show the word suggestion but it never appears in the search window. The only solution seems to be shutting down and removing the battery. Just restarting doesn't work. Neither does switching input methods.

I just completed a system upgrade on my Mototola Droid Razr. It now vibrates on any text input (Text or internet input). Phone dialer is ok, just all other word input. I have unchecked or checked everything that was normal under the old Android version. Currently using 4.1.2 android version.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I've been using Apex launcher and Chrome is my preferred browser. However, I really don't like the Chrome icon and prefer the Sense Internet Icon. On Apex I can edit the Chrome Icon and change it - which I've done.
It only changes the icon in Apex. On my lock-screen, Chrome still has it's original icon. I presume this is because the lock-screen is still on Sense and not controlled by Apex.
I want to registered online with HTC sense, and got to the step where it asks me to login with my phone.i've gone to Setup on my phone where it said to go, saying that I should login when the HTC Sense screen comes up.
